Watching this video as my car is apart on ramps in my driveway. The top bolt to the turbo was cross-threaded or otherwise seized and ended up snapping even after letting it sit with penetrating oil for an entire day. I had to remove the turbo to drill out the broken bolt and re-tap the holes, and then I ran out of time. Hopefully today after work I'll have time to start putting it back together. I'm using a catted downpipe so that it will pass emissions. The intercooler is way easier to do than the downpipe and will add a lot more power with a tune.
They don’t mention quite a few things, don’t impact the wipers, don’t lean on the back of the motor as there is a brittle coolant line that will snap, your top cat bolt is going to seize so be ready for that, and yes the job is a 1-2 day thing not acouple hours

It’s worth it for pushing figures up but most fiesta st owners just get one for pop and bangs😂 it’s best if you know someone who can pass it with a decat fitted aka a doggy mot certificate
@@ThEtEcHnOsAm For a fiesta st you can push up to any power but it is recommended that you fit a sports cat or a decat to push more power with the tuning with other modifications
@@boostedchris6120 Good to hear the standard system isn’t too restrictive, I don’t like over loud cars so would t mind not being one of the local boy racers 😂
@@ThEtEcHnOsAm They are quite restrictive but it’ll be all good for a stage 1 remap but for stage 2 and stage 3 best just to get sports cat to help it pass an mot and be quieter and you wouldn’t have the stupid deceleration map for the decat but if you wanted the decat you can say you don’t want the declaration map then it’ll be fine! Haha best way mate, it’s far to annoying with fiesta’s having a deceleration map fitted

Every downpipe installation video the headlights come out with no explanation but from what I've seen they don't seem necessary to remove?

Stage1 Collins is about 220/230hp I had cp Collins performance on my old fiesta st and it was stage4 and only made 296hp with the x47 turbo
