Love hatchbacks like the Fiesta ST, Focus ST, GTI, etc. because they’re proper sleeper cars. Nobody expects them to be as fast as they are. Sadly, people are starting to realize this now, and are weary of the race haha.
You really should install an LSD, and your car is really powerful...that turbo is making a huge difference 👏🏽
It would be worthwhile upgrade but on insta he said he's selling it. New owner will be getting a rapid car regardless

5.3 in the wet without a diff is impressive, then hanging with an RS3 on the rolling start...that's an impressive little car! With a diff the ST could do low 4's in the dry 🔥

Owning an ST myself these vids are amazing, only stage 1 and it feels like it wants to take off cant imagine a stage 4 ST the build is nuts jamie!

@@lewisjamie288 there is a big difference yeah. Difference between stage 1 and 2 isn't that big. Just pulls better all the way through the gears.
@@lewisjamie288 I’m stage 1 with laird performance and the difference is massive in my opinion, it really should have left the factory like that!
Mines has pulled on a stage 2 Collins but a stage 2 laird pulled on me about 1/1.5 car lengths, so not that much of a difference for the money between the 2

My gearbox has just packed in so that’s in getting rebuild, ordered all the uprated parts from him and it came within days, always a class service

Good video mate. The fiesta st is still a beast and it was always going to have problem putting that sort of power down seems its front wheel drive and its wet because my mates focus ST does.

I think you maybe should have short shifted when doing 0-60 at about 4.5k to stop whero spin and keep in the power band.

I think a dry run would have closed that gap with the Rs3 and dsg really gives the Rs3 an advantage over the fiesta. Still love that fiesta though.

Volvo where have you gone! Bring back that 5 cylinder 2.5 turbo C30 T5! sounds so much better than the Audi 2.5 block.
This has been a great decider for me. Own my 17plate 220bhp in a year still stand about 8/9k spend about 15k to get 350bhp? But it wheel spins now in 1st and 2nd as fwd. Or just trade car in and put 15k down and get a 360/380bhp 16/17 plate a45 amg that can do under 5secs. Its a no brainer after this. Its the a45 amg all day long. Great video for me.
With the rolling race, wouldn't the fiesta do better by being in 2nd while passing the cones, as it has higher revs.
Not sure if the mk of that fiestas engine is like the latest but if it is, the engine loves to push them revs to 7000
