      In addition a person can commit murder and actually feel disgusted 🤮 by their actions. Some feel remorse but still try to wiggle their way out of the situation.
      It is possible he is actually sickened by his actions plus also trying to act 🤪 crazy.

      He doesn’t even meet the bill for clinical insanity either.
      The guy is just NOT insane.
      There is legal insanity and clinical insanity.
      Only a few cases on UA-cam that I have seen where both sides and the DA agreed that it was legal insanity. They even avoided trial.

      I hope his parents can find peace in the fact that their son was wrapped up in something he loved for the last however many years of his life. A lot of people never find that kind of success or joy in life. But I doubt anything really ever makes up for having to bury your own child. You could also tell that his father had clearly been prepared many times before to get news that his son's life had ended. That's rough.

      • but, subconsciously, they are drawn to the song that offers them forgiveness, thereby actually pointing to their guilt.
      _→ "..that saved a wretch like meeeeeeeeee!"_
      Kinda like this _Fiona Harvey,_ aka _"Martha"_ the Stalker, from "Baby Reindeer,_ the performance, meant to get them off the hook, only serves to cement their guilt in the eyes of those observing . . .

    • @jessicalynn6285
      @jessicalynn6285 3 місяці тому +5

      They didn't know Heather was innocent until after she was killed. They thought they both were involved. It's a very rare situation in which they were wrong, and found out what really happened after the fact. Rare in the sense that one of their "suspects" was killed just like their original victim, and that suspect wasn't guilty at all.
      I've seen other cases of a woman luring over a man only for their boyfriend or husband to rob them or kill them for whatever. Or another scenario would be that the boyfriend catches the woman cheating and he kills the guy and his girlfriend. Or maybe he kills the guy but he doesn't kill his girlfriend, then at minimum, police think she could be involved afterwards just due to the fact that she doesn't't report what happened. The police must've figured one of the two had to be what had happened, after seeing her with her boyfriend and seeing her not trying to escape her boyfriend.

    It's ridiculous how he got 2 life sentences without parole, and 27 years for the extra gross stuff. It's kinda unnecessary tbh if they plan to over-feed him into a blob😕

    • @FrenkTheJoy
      @FrenkTheJoy 6 місяців тому +10

      That kind of vast over-sentencing is partly in case something gets overturned. Like if they decide just one life sentence is enough to charge him with and something comes up in an appeal to overturn the sentence, then he goes free. Whereas with two life sentences then only one life sentence gets overturned and he's still in prison. I mean I agree it does always feel overkill when it's like "7 life sentences plus 50 years" but there's a reason for it.

    Did I miss something here? So heather invites him over and the ex bf just randomly shows up before him and slits his throat in her doorway. Did heather see this? Was she involved? She doesn’t tell anyone for weeks until her own murder? You skipped over major important details.

    I would be afraid to dial 911 if I saw a deceased person..
    Because I know they're looking for a conviction!!
    A few months ago, I was leaving for work, and I saw a man passed out on the middle of the street..
    I turned around to block him and dialed 911 to get him help..
    And, they started asking me questions to identify myself..
    I told them no thank you, but by then another person arrives and was on the phone with 911..
    So I hung up and left..
    The fact they started asking me questions makes me hesitant to dail 911 again

      I came to the comments to specifically look for comments about Mary/Heathers mother. As, I was soo blown away by her phone call and like you stated, she was speaking soo brazenly that I was like, She is either, the coldest mother on earth or, she didn’t know yet about her daughter. (And of course, I really hope it’s the latter)
      Soo I was glad when I saw you comment as at least I know I’m not the only one that thought something similar.

      I do believe it's the latter of what you said as well based on the fact that I heard her specifically speak in present tense. She said she "is" her problem child, not "was".

      According to the narrator, Heather was still missing, and her body hadn't been found yet. That aside, the mom was sort of defending the boyfriend saying he really "loved" her. Poor Heather , she didn't have the upbringing and support she needed to choose a better partner. Definitely makes me appreciate my parents a lot more listening to these stories
