There's a reason her low self-esteem drove her to drink and stay in an abusive, dysfunctional situationship: she was trying to drown out YOUR voice in her head telling her she was born "wrong". 🤬
So, cops were going to arrest Heather too then she got killed. She lured Scott over to be killed…Kevin use her Facebook to lure him while she was drunk…what did the cops want with her?
They didn't know Heather was innocent until after she was killed. They thought they both were involved. It's a very rare situation in which they were wrong, and found out what really happened after the fact. Rare in the sense that one of their "suspects" was killed just like their original victim, and that suspect wasn't guilty at all. I've seen other cases of a woman luring over a man only for their boyfriend or husband to rob them or kill them for whatever. Or another scenario would be that the boyfriend catches the woman cheating and he kills the guy and his girlfriend. Or maybe he kills the guy but he doesn't kill his girlfriend, then at minimum, police think she could be involved afterwards just due to the fact that she doesn't't report what happened. The police must've figured one of the two had to be what had happened, after seeing her with her boyfriend and seeing her not trying to escape her boyfriend.
I’ve seen this case before, even some of the trial, but most of this coverage is new to me. I feel so badly for their loved ones. 😞 Heathers mother sounds awesome! And Scott’s father seemed to know his son so well and love him so unconditionally.

Imagine being Heather’s loved ones, having to watch the POLICE film her as her KNOWN ABUSER drives her off to her death while they… what? Order donuts? Jesus.
Although all 3 had seemingly gotten their lives heading in the right direction, Scott was an innocent man pulled unwittingly into a toxic, dangerous situation. Tragedy all round. I still wonder why alcohol is abundantly available, whilst cigarettes are just about banned (governments claim in the best interests of ordinary citizens' health). Makes no sense to me - alcohol is a poisonous killer. 😢
The words u spoke at the end about each one of these folks was beautifully said. We never realize our consequences when we lead with emotions Thank u sir
It's ridiculous how he got 2 life sentences without parole, and 27 years for the extra gross stuff. It's kinda unnecessary tbh if they plan to over-feed him into a blob😕
That kind of vast over-sentencing is partly in case something gets overturned. Like if they decide just one life sentence is enough to charge him with and something comes up in an appeal to overturn the sentence, then he goes free. Whereas with two life sentences then only one life sentence gets overturned and he's still in prison. I mean I agree it does always feel overkill when it's like "7 life sentences plus 50 years" but there's a reason for it.
Having an addict in the family - and their associated chaotic relationships - is so very draining. Her mom was exhausted and likely predicted her daughter's alcohol fueled death many many times.
Did I miss something here? So heather invites him over and the ex bf just randomly shows up before him and slits his throat in her doorway. Did heather see this? Was she involved? She doesn’t tell anyone for weeks until her own murder? You skipped over major important details.
I would be afraid to dial 911 if I saw a deceased person.. Because I know they're looking for a conviction!! And, they started asking me questions to identify myself.. I told them no thank you, but by then another person arrives and was on the phone with 911.. So I hung up and left.. The fact they started asking me questions makes me hesitant to dail 911 again
I feel like Heather's mother was completely unaware her daughter was dead at the time of the interview. Like I just don't hear any sadness at all and she speaks so brazenly.
I came to the comments to specifically look for comments about Mary/Heathers mother. As, I was soo blown away by her phone call and like you stated, she was speaking soo brazenly that I was like, She is either, the coldest mother on earth or, she didn’t know yet about her daughter. (And of course, I really hope it’s the latter) Soo I was glad when I saw you comment as at least I know I’m not the only one that thought something similar.
@@Krazy4Pink_Kerry Yeah, you're definitely not alone. It truly jumps out at you. Like sure, 1 of my children is harder than the rest, but I'd still be equally as devastated as my other 2 if, God forbid, something happened. According to the narrator, Heather was still missing, and her body hadn't been found yet. That aside, the mom was sort of defending the boyfriend saying he really "loved" her.
What a psycho.....these evil people live amongst us just waiting. So scary!! 😳
I’ve seen this case before, even some of the trial, but most of this coverage is new to me. I feel so badly for their loved ones. 😞 Heathers mother sounds awesome! And Scott’s father seemed to know his son so well and love him so unconditionally.

Given how disrespectful and belittling her mother was towards her while also interpreting the individual who MURDERED her daughters toxic behavior towards her as LOVE is absolutely disgusting and shows how dysfunctional and emotionally out of touch she is. She’s not wrong for being honest with detectives. Heather was half a century old, can’t blame parents forever.

I would be afraid to dial 911 if I saw a deceased person..
Because I know they're looking for a conviction!!
A few months ago, I was leaving for work, and I saw a man passed out on the middle of the street..
I turned around to block him and dialed 911 to get him help..
No one did.....they were so numb to both victims behaviors...
I came to the comments to specifically look for comments about Mary/Heathers mother. As, I was soo blown away by her phone call and like you stated, she was speaking soo brazenly that I was like, She is either, the coldest mother on earth or, she didn’t know yet about her daughter. (And of course, I really hope it’s the latter)
Soo I was glad when I saw you comment as at least I know I’m not the only one that thought something similar.

I do believe it's the latter of what you said as well based on the fact that I heard her specifically speak in present tense. She said she "is" her problem child, not "was".
According to the narrator, Heather was still missing, and her body hadn't been found yet. That aside, the mom was sort of defending the boyfriend saying he really "loved" her.
