The Kia terminology is very confusing to me when it comes to exhaust lol. So there's primaries DP, secondaries DP, mid, then Catback I believe. This exhaust is the rear two sections. The x/h pipes and the Catback. I have the Ultimate Performance DP which are Primaries (connected to turbo) and secondary combined into one pipe. But I haven't installed them yet as they're really difficult. The June BL is really easy to install, although the vacuum lines and electronics should be done by a professional. I had mine installed at the dealer.
It really depends on throttle input. When the valves are closed, it's comparable to stock, maybe quieter. When they are open and at full throttle, it's quite a bit louder than stock. Not quite straight piped, but noticably louder.
@@robertmcgee3616 most likely the easies way would be to program a raspberry pi or arduino to read the signal from the mode switch and activate it when it goes to sport. I could probably do it, but sometimes I prefer to be quiet in sport mode too.
@@robertmcgee3616 now that I'm thinking about this again. It would probably be easier to tie it into throttle input. You could probably get a canbus controller that activates the switch at 75-100% throttle input. I'm sure they exist.
Does this catback come with the midpipes or secondary downpipes?

How much louder is this compared to stock? Could you give a scale from reference

I posted a driving video too.
Question, is there a switch that is used to open and close valves or can you tie them to the drive modes?
There is a switch. I'm sure someone with some programming experience could tie it to the modes. Not me
@@vinnysdiyworkshop9534 I gotcha, that’s someone I definitely want to do so that it can seem Factory

@@vinnysdiyworkshop9534 ahh, that’s a good point. So I can see why the switch would be better

How much was it
Like $1200 I think
