Watch the video to find out the best and cheapest exhaust setup for the Kia Stinger. Don't waste your money on those expensive systems that are $1200+!
Bro your the only person I could find for months that has ngt primaries with a straight pipe. I have a lozic pop/flame tune. Will be cutting the mufflers off soon. Already have the ngt primaries and straight secondaries.
Haha yeah I only know a people running them also. Best sound and performance. People go the easy route and just do secondaries but the install was not bad at all
@@jakeledford4568 There is drone but if you are worried about drone I think you should reconsider even getting an exhaust. In comfort mode, you can barely hear the exhaust, sport, there is drone, it’s loud, but it’s fun lol
@@jakeledford4568 the other thing you can do too is get vibrant resonators for the drone if going straight pipe. Help a lot with the drone, and also making sure either the pipes extend out into the bumper or use exhaust tips. Also, if you want a REALLY good sound with a straight pipe, use a single mid-pipe instead of a dual. So 2-1-2 piping.
Hey I want to go full catless but in the lap3 website it says “Please make sure to keep the secondary downpipes stock to prevent burning oil from OEM turbos not having enough backpressure.” How do others go around this issue because I’ve seen others go catless?
I also can't see how these pops and bangs are good for the long duration of your car, I think they better suit a Subie WRX or a Hyundai N, which have it from stock and sound good. The Stinger is a classier Car, over here in Australia, it is illegal to delete primary cats, you will get a " canary " slapped on your car. I have the Borla S catback on my Stinger, it's much more expensive yes but I prefer the loudness without being obnoxious and love the burbles on down shift.
Couldn't stand the insane drone from just muffler deletes. Was absolutely insane drone even extending the pipes out to the edge of the fake exhaust tips didn't help. Ended up going with mbrp pro catback.
Just did this to mine and taking it back to get mufflers added tomorrow. Got pulled over by the cops. And now i have a 1000 fine to pay. Dont come to cali trying to straight pipe your car 😂😂
@Bev work bro thats why. I wanna leave i cant fucking stand it here. You cant drive a loud car but you sure as hell can change your sex change here and live with a bunch of karens 🤣🤣🤣🤣
What makes me super bummed out is that i also added a hks coldair intake and also a hks bov and it sounds so fucking beautiful but these nazi cops out in orangecounty bro they vicious towards car guys! There already trying to push for all electric for 2030 😤😤😤🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Sounds wicked and I'd love to do this but I can't run straight pipe I need to pass inspection 😅 glad you made the video though really helps make a decision especially one that could be thousands
@@bev5410 should've just done catlesss downpipes and elecronic cutouts before the resonators or mufflers. Similar or better sound, and no drone while commuting.
@@bev5410 this is Brandon Gill btw didn’t know if you knew that lol. But absolutely bro! And ya your Shit sounds insane. Ima get secondary dps soon. But ya that turbo whistle on cold starts 😍
Hey why would I need a tune for the primary? Also I’ve been thinkin of muffler res delete and secondary cat delete and imr catless downpipes u think there will be any problems with that?
@@cooperpickering9899 drone is you get a steady 'drone' noise in the cabin. Tried it. Drones like crazy at 1800 rpm. Ended up with MBRP and like it fine.
so what do u recommend

@@bev5410 did you have to do anything special to reduce drone. I’ve heard it’s really loud with straight pipes. Some people add brace welds.

Hey loved the video and thanks! Just curious what size tires are you sporting, thanks again.

If I had to guess they have a muffler, keeping some back pressure for the turbos.
I actually like this! So this makes 2 that I have found for the stinger I like. Thanks!
No problem! Glad you like the video and the exhaust!
So ghetto for such an amazing car .. sounds like trash, drones inside like crazy. Spend the $800 and get MBRP. This car deserves some respect.
Exactly!! If my car sounded like that, I’d be embarrassed. Plain cringy smh. After 3 years, I wouldn’t trade my set up.

Put a pair of flow masters on down pipes then see what you get no regrets
I don’t want to be quieter lol. I like my cars loud and obnoxious
Bro you need a better tire for sure, I ran a 11.8 in the streets with the stage 1.5 Ecu from lap 3 on 93. I have r888rs 285 rwd

Not sure how smog works but I would just do muffler and resonator delete if it’s just they are worried about cats. I could be wrong though.
Kind of miss leading since... You NEED a tune to not get a CEL
Muffler and Resonator delete by itself sounds great. Downpipe just adds extra character
Mbrp only 700 too doesn’t sound stupid loud or raspy
What’s the drone like when you’re on a highway my guy?
Terrible 😂 that’s why I go on my girlfriends stinger on road trips.
Only complaint about this exhaust.

Funny I like the normal easy take off but yikes the getting on it noise
The pops and bangs are due to the tune. But yeah I paid $150 for my resonator and muffler delete. Sounds better than 99% of exhaust systems
100 percent, it’s crazy these people pay so much for a cat-back that looks pretty lol. Nobody can even see it haha

Hey why would I need a tune for the primary? Also I’ve been thinkin of muffler res delete and secondary cat delete and imr catless downpipes u think there will be any problems with that?
its gonna sound like dog shit and u probably will have overboost problems if u dont get it tuned

3.3TT
Fire video I just ordered mbpr let’s see
What codec and shutter speed do you use with 60fps filming?
It varies man, I just started photography lol. But I have a Sony A7SIII
Sounds so good
Would Jb4 work with dp or you have to get lap3?
JB4 will work!
@@bev5410
What's the difference of the jb4 and lap 3? Does one allow more power than the other?
@@lamont23able1 yes, the lap3 unlocks more power and is MUCH safer than a JB4, higher recommend Lap3

Why do u have to get a tune?
You’ll get overboost, which isn’t good for the motor.
Because any time you change air coming in or out you should get a tune
Jesus, how much horsepower do you have in there?
Drone is unbearable though. I'm going for the expensive option so I can keep the comfort to keep the car useable

you arent gonna find a proper shop to do primaries for 200. the book labor is 8 hours and its gonna be 100 an hour minimum for a reputable shop
waaay to farty for me
Mbrp sounds waaaay better
