- So I have once again lost the ability to receive PvP Bounty Hunting contracts. They've just disappeared again and nothing seems to bring them back so I decided to seek out other emergent gameplay scenarios in Star Citizen and become a solo pirate. Please enjoy this tale of highs, lows, fails and successes as I try to become a solo pirate.

That looked like quite the adventure. Star citizen really is a game where you have to make your own fun.
When all the systems are broken, I make my own haha
You really do have to make your own fun since there is nothing but FPS on the ground or in a ship.
Very enjoyable experience and video style.
Loved the part where you learned cruise controll the hard way.
I assume everyone HAS to go trough such an experience at one time.
Mine was going to get a drink, just to come back to my ship impacting the planet :D
Haha love this. Yeah the analog nature of it, it's a lot of trial and error, but that's kind of what I like about it. You get to find your own ways of playing.

Got to love the wonky physics of Star Citizen. In deep space if a ship is in motion but not accelerating or decelerating (as yours wasn’t, it was just steady cruise), you should come out and move at the same speed, not insta down to zero. I hope they eventually fix that some day because it’s beyond dumb that this happens.
hopefully but missiles and torpedo do so i don't see why they forgot the character
There is a mode Called decoupling, wich prevents your ship from stopping just like that.
@@Trillineatus No, this occurs in decoupled mode too. Go speed up to maximum speed in space, go decoupled and hop out of your ship and see what happens. You should be able to move around the ship at that speed, but you’ll see the ship fly off and you somehow instantly are at zero speed. Wonky fake physics.

Loved this video - been at it for 2 weeks in SC and slowly been getting into this. Lost 6 mil last night and even tried to negotiate but we had a Damn body stuck/glitches inside the ship and thiz was our downfall

2 : does it allow breathing in space?

I enjoyed watching your SC story...in fact rather than playing myself tonight, I have been watching your videos.
Love star citizen and i cant wait until its finally somewhere you can call it a real game
but it keeps going like this:
RSI: new system for star citizen incoming!
SC: uhm can you just make me playable?
RSI: new system in the next patch! oh and we are changing the system we added last time!
SC: please man just make me playable, fix the jankiness and the 5 year old issues that keep coming back
RSI: we have changed the combat system and flight system! its now entirely different, and we have added a new storage system to replace the storage system!

Haha yeah I never look at it that way... I think in terms of aUEC per hour, this probably still tops it, even with the waiting around. Thanks for watching though!

Entertaining video as always. For some reason, I can't equip those cool civilian skins. I have a bunch of those masks and can't even equip them. Been that way since I started playing!
Ah that sucks! I hope they fix stuff like that, and give you the ability to wear some more clothing with undersuits too. I love the future drip!
Try to unequip all gear, undersuite too. Check your pending moves and try to equip civilian gear. There is a bugged undersuite, which allows you to wear armor and civilian gear.🎉

damn.. I just found a new gameplay loop XD
See this I why I do my RMC runs a carrack. I respawn in 30 seconds equip guns and armour on and go kill them lol. and if I want to be really safe I hover the ship above the ground, So the ramp cant be jumped on to. the buy and backspace. Wake up on the ship and get to the pilots seat even faster than going back to the ship the proper way lol

Got to say, I clicked on your vid due to the genuine nature of the thumbnail-no clickbait, real screenshot, no AI, artistic layering & emphasis, etc. I was not disappointed! The immersion level, cheeky self-deprecation humor and lack of awareness of everyone made this a riot. Thank you for taking the time to do this video, as well as being one of the very small percentage of folks to be an ACTUAL pirate of opportunity, rather than a murder hobo, griefer or bored person wanting an adrenaline rush and control fix. o7

Edit: I don't even do PvP bounty hunting contracts as they are usually a waste of time from running/armistice camping or a sweaty annihilator, BUT-if you haven't tried having someone share PvP contracts with you to try and fix it, I'd be willing to give it a shot. Not that I want the piracy to stop or anything lol. Let me know!
Hey Corgi, really appreciate the comment - I wouldn't usually pirate as I say so this was more of an experiment in gameplay more than anything else. This was my first time trying anything like this outside of the usual 'good guy' morality of full loot PvP; with bounty hunting the game is telling you to do it whereas this is just me having a crack at it. It means a lot for you to comment though so thank you, I would definitely appreciate trying to fix my mobi issue, my ingame is OneZeroBlack, and yeah I watch Voidy a lot, probably where most of the inspiration for this came from actually haha for I too am a Maze and railgun ammo addict. But yeah hit me up if you can find me, I'll join Voidys discord under this username too

Heh yeah sorry poor choice of words on my part I think. As a solo, I guess I could have parked at Grim, got my Cutty and done the transfer there? Don't know. It just seemed to make sense to backspace and come back. I think it's cheap and immersion breaking but what choice did I have? EVA from Miner's Lament to Grim?

Respawned and got it, my body had a marker so I could get back.
@@Lofty_o7 how did you manage to have a marker on your body? personally I put a ship near a specific point to find it (one of the flashing lights next to a space station), I then disconnected, I reappeared and I went to look for another ship but impossible to find my first one which I had left next to the flashing light.. how did you do it? thanks in advance

Nope. I tried getting mission shared, tried grinding rep with Northrock in Mt doing the 35k HRT mission at Ghost Hollow and nothing. The last time this happened, only them doing a patch fixed it so I'm hoping it fixes itself next patch.

With one loading screen he waited on a a fully explorable planet, boarded a spaceship with an interior, one of 130+ flyable in-game, used one of 28 FPS weapons to kill another player, fly stolen ship to the orbit of a moon and transfer cargo to his ship to sell for profit. Tf are you talkin about lol

Oh, and SC has TWO loading screens. One that you see whenever anti-gravitic FOD wipes your ship out on arrival/departure. 😁

This smells fishy
In the first clip with the C2, you can see the wreckage of my cutty black destroyed. That was literally my first trip to Rappel where I took out some NPCs so yes, technically I did have an s38 pistol but not on me, and certainly not enough ammo to kill anyone. What smells fishy about this? Do you think I set it up? Setting up not pirating someone... Seems reasonable
