Hey man, great vid! I have some input on the ERT class torpedo boats. I have the Tali and Eclipse and they have different ways to be used. The Tali has a huge EM signature so I just boom and zoom the primary, launching at under 10km with Seeker IX torps..they lock-up fast. With the Eclipse I use Typhoon's and creep to about 12km away and send one. All targets including 890 Jumps went down with just 1 torpedo. With the Tali converted half cargo and torpedo bay you can stop and grab some weevil eggs if any also. And..before each size 9 torp was 10K each..now 3 Typhoons size 9s are just 11K. Which isn't too bad.
I love the concept of stealth, but which ship do you think is more viable between the two. Basically if you had to choose between the two. Which would you pick?
@@CopperRavenProductions the Eclipse is great if you're just going to be playing by yourself. 3 torpedoes, 3 ERTs. The Retaliator is now modular so great with a small group of friends on the guns so you can take on all the wingman as well so as not to waste all your torps. Both are good ships for the purpose they were built but you're not going to be stealthy with the Retaliator. They will see you coming so be ready to fight or run, lol
43 Scu of Wavil + 7 Scu of Widow + 4 Altru + 3 Quant. Was my best load, filled up my Corsair nicely. Was like 5+ mil in loot from one ERT. I did around a 100+ ERT since 3.23.1 ( I cant get group Bounties, im bugged i think, so i just spam solo ERT ) There is like a good amount of loot every 10 or so missions. Usually the main target has 1-3 SCU of Weavil. Sometimes they dont have anything ( If its a redeemer youre out of lcuk. Or 890j, these somehow rarely have loot for me ) Its rarely to never worthwhile to check the other ships than the main target. I usually softdeath all 4 ships(I play with deadbolts on a corsair[even with 100% cap on weapons the recharge is too slow for me, and after selling i can quickly rearm at a mining outpost, without even landing as hovering over the pad is enough] so towards the kill i switch to staggered firing, to reduce the amount of alpha damage once soft death occours, to not overshoot the damage into a hard deat), and scan the main target to check if im lucky. After that i check my missions if my next bounty is around Yela ( space bounty ) or at the gundos around daymar ( space ). If its not, i DONT accept the mission, but loot the other ships for their altru and quant. And while i do i check every other minute if i get a mission refresh which hopefully offers space bounties. Dont bother with any planetary bounties. They are a time-waste because they are a gamble. Even if you kill the targets at around 100-300 meters height, they often explode and ruin the loot and/or land on the ground in positions which makes them unlootable.
The other thing is that if you look on Urkel, the Andromeda has twice the Hull HP as the Corsair. The Taurus has less than the Andromeda as well. So as far as survivability goes, Constellation Andromeda for the win. Andromeda Hull HP: 180,664 Corsair Hull HP: 91,000 Taurus Hull HP: 130,000
Be Careful with the total HP. The Conni has much more parts than the Corsair. The Body HP for example is 20.000 for Connie or 15.000 for Corsair. So you don't have to work down 180.00 HP. Just hit only the same spot and then there is not so much difference.
Great video, I was really looking forward to seeing your list for the master modes update! I was super surprised how much fun the Titan was doing bounties. I used it from the free fly and now im considering re-buying one after having melting one many years ago.
Great video thanks! My thoughts on the Corsair vs the Constellation are that the whilst the Corsair has bigger guns, it can't really profit from them because the capacitor is quickly used up so there doesn't seem to be any real advantage compared to the Constellation in this respect. However, the Constellation series has a lot more HP, almost twice for the Andromeda. Cheers !
You also have missles for days on the Connie, even with the Taurus, plus the handy tractor beam turret to loot the cargo of the ERTs without even having to EVA over.
Don't get confused with the HP. Connie has more parts. Thats why it has so much more HP. But if you look for the body HP only it's 20.000 vs 15.000. You don't have to deal with the 180.000 HP. Just hit the same spot and it's not such a big difference between both ships. And with the Corsair use ballistic S4 Weapons. Than you have much more DPS than the Connie. If I fly Solo i prefer the Taurus because of the better Cargo hold and the tractor. But the Corsair is the better damage dealer.
@@vonrosphe3098 fyi ballistics were nerfed to the ground in 3.23. While the dps may seem high on erkul all ships have 50-58% pysical damage reduction now ontop of the 20% shield absorbtion. Laser canons are the current meta now and have higher dps than ballistic gatlings but without ammo contraints.
This is just plane wrong. It's an objective fact that ballistics lower TTK. Their ability to penetrator shields will alow a ship to be able to take down ships that wouldnt be possible otherwise. Deadbikts slap, best to not decide to use a weapon based off what the internet says.
@@SubliminaLstv laser canons have a higher effective dps than ballistics but yes they don't penetrate shields so ttk on larger targets with a lot of shield are an entirely different story, while they basically onehit light/medium fighters in a single volley.
People like to complain about Corsair wings. But, the coolest thing about Corsair's mechanics IS its wings. When attacked from the sides, folded wing state acts as a shield and gives protection thus making it harder to take your ship down. Tested numerous times, super epic. Dunno how many times that has saved me from random AI ramming and sudden attacks from AI ships on Brio's. Saved a lot of time.
This lines up with my experience. I had to swap my torps to EM for faster speed to land hits. Then to complete anything hard for Bounty Hunting I went to my Corsair. My brother went to his Taurus.
Took a 2 year hiatus, the Titan was already my fav back then, most fun to fly, rapid, agile, amazing turn rates. Glad it is now S-Tier! Was hoping Vanguards are still up there as well, at least A-Tier.
I love the Taurus. The tractor turret is actually nice just because you never have to leave the ship, though it's angle makes judging the back of the cargo grid a little tough. It's fine if you're grabbing one or two things, but it feels like having someone in the bay to help with final placement would be helpful if you're packing it. Though probably not super concerned with that here.
Love the Vid., so much work in it and just honest personal experience / preference (people should take it or leave it). Dont see alot of those really well crafted lists as u did, really thanks mate! One thing: PLEASE either show the ship Names on screen / text or Name them when talked about. I started just a few weeks ago and I am massively confused with so many Names - Yeah I know like the 5 most common ships each "class" but would help me A LOT to not skip, pause and stuff to look them up seperately. PS: the corsair is a great tip appreciate it!
Thx mate, you gave me the will to stop Titan and go for F7C mk II then doing the event (just in time wow) and obtain the free upgrade for F7A. I'm using F7A (optimised laser canon) for a while now and it's very good as expected. Can take down solo almost everything and most of things very quickly. Pure canon glass build, forcing you to train for evade. In groups it's even better.
600I is a support cannonboat for doing ert's with at least 1 wingman, to this day before the cargo overhaul patch it has a tonne of hull hp, good support boat in my opinion
I've come to conclusion that the Corsair in basically ERT's in cheat mode, you can have virtually zero skill, use zero tactics, only know the bare basics of how to fire your weapons and fly around, and STILL defeat pretty much any ERT with little challenge. Unless you literally just come to a stop and sit there while an NPC ship hammers away at your shields its actually difficult to get destroyed. As long as you make even a basic attempt to dodge enemy ships, your shields and hull will be fine.
Guide is gold. I'm looking to get my first non starter ship and it sounds like bang for my buck it's probably either the cutlass black, buccaneer, or constellation. Of course i have some credit grinding to do still. Is part durability really important, or can i focus on most power output/cooling?
1:09:29 - So happy to hear you say this. My buddy's call me crazy for saying the AI don't fly the same ships as the players. I keep telling them to get their noses out of the dirt and try piloting; its annoying. This also is the reason I appreciate your rankings in addition to Av1's; PvP is not the same as PvE in any way right now. I guess its a little better since the dev's admitted that the AI was programmed to have infinite ammo and hit you with guns at 12km, and fixed that. That was a nightmare once the AI got gud in the EPTU builds. 1:10:40 - Unless they kamikaze you, which they still tend to do. That's usually the only way I die in a redeemer in PvE.
Really nice tier list and understandable for a noob like me. Only thing is that it would have helped me to see the name of the ship as well as you sometimes use the nick names of the ships
I love the Buc and I'm glad it is coming into a golden age for that airframe. I have to ask though why does no one ever cover the delta when it comes to the mustangs? I know it has all the flaws of the standard ship, but I always feel those rockets help it punch above it's weight when it comes to the bigger ships were it is easier to land shots on them.
I kept reading people saying “dO eRtS iN 600I” I was looking for an alternate ship to my Taurus just to mix things up and the shield on 600i looked enticing. First ERT after purchase I die…. Next ERT after claim……die. Apparently none of these people have done ERTs in 3.23 bc had they, they wouldn’t be pumping up the 600i.
Yeah it was the only one I ever died in. Even my C2, the first ship I did an ERT with almost died and it has 1 less size 5. But that was with me not knowing how the NPCs were going to be have and how I should fight. But after that near death I didn't even take hull damage on the second fight.
The big thing with 4x Deadbolt 5 on a Crosair is: you can easily render a ERT Hammerhead or Redeemer useless -> just go precision mode pop one to two salvos at every turret and now they are just flying punching bags (because ballistics go through the shield (0 - 30% absorbed based on power put to shields) and hit the turret directly, cant do that with lasers as easily). When Servers are good, a Hammerhead and Redeemer can ruin your day VERY fast.
As far as I know, when 890J front HP to to zero it doesn't destroy the ship nor does it pip any damages the rest of the ship. Tdlr the front (of the 890J) is invincible.
maybe it changes since this video, but the ion can one shot light fighters at 3km away. it takes 3 charged shots to kill a cutty steel, 6 to kill a connie, it feels very nice. I used this to take the shields down on the idris and the Hammerheads during phase 2 of XT. Would love to see an updated video!
I feel you don't understand the Sabre Firebird at all. Its a stealth missile boat rather than a fighter. Zoom in, zoom out with your superior speed.. get them to chase you with their shields off in nav mode. They will quickly lose sight of you due to your very low signature, then turn and melt faces as they fly right into your volleys of missiles. It's hilariously fun.
I think it was you who slept through the video. Maybe you skipped around. These ships are ranked for solo play. Not everyone has friends at the ready to crew.
Off-topic, but I totally agree with ordering food. Delivery food is usually the cheapest trash out there, while at the same time being super overpriced. Might as well just get something properly prepared if you really want to order.
For the Reliant Series to get out of the cockpit you must have your landing gear down, in space or not does not matter no gear down you can't get out of seat.
Wooooo been waiting for this video. I don't care about the payouts but much more about the fun. When the servers are not kicking the bucket PvE ship combat is awesome :3
Yeeaaahhh it is a rude awakening... My little Arrow is gonna sit in the box for a while until I get good, poor thing blew out from under me fast when trying harder targets.
When you do ERT for a living you will definitely put Ballistic Cannons on the Corsair, bro. Deadbolt all the way. Taking down Hammerheads and 890s in a few seconds... There is no alternative. Except when you do ERTs with others. Then you better go Energy and enjoy the never-having to refill.
Love the style of your videos. keep on keepin on bro I’m considering grinding for an inferno because I just love flying that when i had it before. I think I can get a friend to split selling cargo with me if he does the selling. Either that or I just grind for the Corsair which I rented for invictus but didn’t rly get to use. Right now it’s either Inferno or Corsair.
It would be really cool if you did bounty in a fighter and there was cargo that you could sell an illegal beacon location for someone with a cargo ship to just come loot it.
A firebird with Deadbolt III missiles has become my go-to light fighter for VHRT/ERT missions now. Its lack of cargo capacity is my only issue, but with all the missiles, I can unload on the main target real quickly and then finish them off with the cannons and be on my way before their wingmen can usually do much to me. Generally still better for when I'm not doing solo ops as aside from extra dps, whoever I'm with can bring something with some cargo capacity. I'd still understand not placing the firebird in S-tier there, but for me personally, it fits me like a glove. (That and I'm a dirty missile slinging commie. I literally just see them as a tool, and arguments against any given weapon type are silly. ya know?) Anyway good video, I like your reasonings. There's no denying that connies and corsairs are top dog when you're looking to bring home the bacon in bounties/assassinations.
Perfect video, totally agree with Corsair as TOP, but, it has rockets as well, could you talk more about rockets and explainin them? It would be very appreciated for lot of people.. thank you man
I was doing an HRT with the Redeemer, and I ignored the other ships and just slowly blew the ships apart one by one with 2 Deadbolt IVs on the fixed wing and 2 Attrition-3s on the pilot controlled remote turret. It just melts. Keep the size 5 gatling turrets or only replace one of the guns on each with an energy weapon for that extra sustainability.
I'm surprised by the number of times that people forget about the rear remote turret on the Cutlass Steel. Cutlass Black has the same pilot hardpoints as the Steel and Aegis Sabre and both of those were green on weapons.
"This ship..." It would be nice if you had chapter markers, titles, or frequently named the craft. Several places where you simply don't mention the name of the ship.
Nice overview, makes me consider to make some changes. I'm pretty disappointed about the Redeemer though, but maybe it gets some more love in 4.o. Keep it up!
Keep in mind fellas, if you put your tractor beam in "Traversal Mode" you can easily fit three 32scu containers or five 24scu containers in the corsair.
I use an alt account on a second computer to man the remote turret in the Scorpius. Hopefully eventually we get the blades to lock it in forward position, pilot controllable for firing similar to the hornet series. More damage and maneuverability than my F8C Lightning. Using all M5A's or even Omnisky IX's on the Scorpius. Staggered fire feels like I'm a giant laser gatling. haha
Corsair is the ERT master. Im not the best pilot ever and I easily can solo them with it and not even receive any damage lol. It's worth at least buying in game and throwing all the Deadbolts you can onto it
Great video but I'm curious what your thoughts are on the Retaliator and its Bomber variant. I have the Bomber one and haven't truly tested it yet. But overall again great video and good ranking
"it is durable until it isn't" was my favorite line and I totally understand what you are saying
I knew the, Connie and Corsair was going to be s-Tier when the only way to solo the xenothreat event was with those two ships.
I did the first three with the f8 for fun then tried the hornet on the 4th, that was nuts but I died a couple times.

I did around a 100+ ERT since 3.23.1
( I cant get group Bounties, im bugged i think, so i just spam solo ERT )
There is like a good amount of loot every 10 or so missions. Usually the main target has 1-3 SCU of Weavil. Sometimes they dont have anything ( If its a redeemer youre out of lcuk. Or 890j, these somehow rarely have loot for me )
Its rarely to never worthwhile to check the other ships than the main target.
And if you want a Sentinel, hit me up.
The other thing is that if you look on Urkel, the Andromeda has twice the Hull HP as the Corsair. The Taurus has less than the Andromeda as well. So as far as survivability goes, Constellation Andromeda for the win.
Andromeda Hull HP: 180,664
Corsair Hull HP: 91,000
Taurus Hull HP: 130,000
Be Careful with the total HP. The Conni has much more parts than the Corsair. The Body HP for example is 20.000 for Connie or 15.000 for Corsair. So you don't have to work down 180.00 HP. Just hit only the same spot and then there is not so much difference.
Great Guide , the hardest thing about the guide is building the rep to get the ERT bounties.
Absolute king for uploading this 👌
Great video, I was really looking forward to seeing your list for the master modes update!
I was super surprised how much fun the Titan was doing bounties. I used it from the free fly and now im considering re-buying one after having melting one many years ago.
been waiting for this!
Sorry I couldn't get it out before Invictus ended. Took a while to test all the ships.
@@SubliminaLstv You do great work boss no one should get made with the quality you provide
Can't wait for the Gladiator to finally get some love and attention. In my opinion super sexy look and very fun to fly!
My brother went to his Taurus.
whoa, whoa, whoa... the Tana looks good man!
Tractor on the Taurus is great
Wow, i did not expect to see a Reliant up there!
Thank for all the effort you put into these rankings man!!!
Thanks for the info. Glad I got the Corsair. Can't wait to test it out.
600I is a support cannonboat for doing ert's with at least 1 wingman, to this day before the cargo overhaul patch it has a tonne of hull hp, good support boat in my opinion
huge respect for you and your SC content. My VKBs and I appreciate you.
Taurus is king, with great value, great survivability, solid guns, and my only gripe is it's long due the gold pass.
As long as you make even a basic attempt to dodge enemy ships, your shields and hull will be fine.
been doing them in Hammerheads with my friends, only picking up Vice or Quant, been super fun and the 40SCU cargo is reasonable
Love the format! Great vid! and i agree, the corsair is a monster. it made xenothreat easy solo
Great video mate! You seem like a very chill guy, keep up the good work!
The Taurus still have 1 offensive turret on top. And i have used the Tractor on moving stuff, very fun.
maybe it changes since this video, but the ion can one shot light fighters at 3km away. it takes 3 charged shots to kill a cutty steel, 6 to kill a connie, it feels very nice. I used this to take the shields down on the idris and the Hammerheads during phase 2 of XT. Would love to see an updated video!
I've been waiting for this list, I don't want to grind out for a ship and find out it freaking sucks, I would quit lol. Liked and subbed
Feels like the multicrew in the Redeemer has been absolutely slept on in this video. Its major shortcoming is the lack of cargo.
100% Combat was so much fun when I was getting shot down!
Yeeaaahhh it is a rude awakening... My little Arrow is gonna sit in the box for a while until I get good, poor thing blew out from under me fast when trying harder targets.
Right on great ranking guide
Thanks for this. Very valuable. Though how you can call the reliant ugly....man I love that ship 😊
Kinda seems like everyone is copying everyones bullet point styles now, but still all very informative and I prefer Subs style
"The Khartu-al" 🤌🤌. Yes...draw me like one of your Xi'an girls, Sub.
Good video man.😂
With the Titan, I usually lure npcs out of atmosphere to have an opportunity
Love the style of your videos. keep on keepin on bro
I’m considering grinding for an inferno because I just love flying that when i had it before. I think I can get a friend to split selling cargo with me if he does the selling. Either that or I just grind for the Corsair which I rented for invictus but didn’t rly get to use. Right now it’s either Inferno or Corsair.
I just wish there was a ares version with a railgun/mass driver. I've been so so so close over the last few patches to just finally melt my ion
I'm glad my girl the Talon is ranked so high. Looks like I need to actually check out the Buccaneer.
You should, protobean
It would be really cool if you did bounty in a fighter and there was cargo that you could sell an illegal beacon location for someone with a cargo ship to just come loot it.
Great Guide! Thanks for the effort!
It would be very appreciated for lot of people.. thank you man
Awesome Subliminal! Was waiting for your Ranking guide.
What are your thoughts on the C1 Spirit?
I was thinking about that for HRT's
Nice overview, makes me consider to make some changes.
I'm pretty disappointed about the Redeemer though, but maybe it gets some more love in 4.o.
Keep it up!
The deemed would be S tier if crewed. FYI
Keep in mind fellas, if you put your tractor beam in "Traversal Mode" you can easily fit three 32scu containers or five 24scu containers in the corsair.
Yeah, I knew my OG Avenger would be S Class 😄
I beat Vanduul Swarm twice with it.
Staggered fire feels like I'm a giant laser gatling. haha
i had a couple buddies inform they found 62scu of eggs in a single 890j once. quantanium is decent enough to grab too
Corsair is the ERT master. Im not the best pilot ever and I easily can solo them with it and not even receive any damage lol. It's worth at least buying in game and throwing all the Deadbolts you can onto it
thank you for doing this - loved it.
Great video but I'm curious what your thoughts are on the Retaliator and its Bomber variant. I have the Bomber one and haven't truly tested it yet. But overall again great video and good ranking
Thanks you for the guide 👌
Do you have an updated tuning guide for these ships in 3.23, specifically the Corsair and the Herc? Good video. Full marks.
I’ve gotta see the f8c vs the 890j
nice vid as always, good info. can i ask though.... where do we get the modules now for the tali?
Love the Corsair, great stuff man
