    Carnivore does work. I did it for 8 months but lost way too much weight. I ate 2.5 lbs of grass fed steak and hamburger every day whenever I was hungry with salt and clean water (reverse osmosis or spring water). I went from going to the bathroom every two hours to maybe twice a day. I think just eating whole foods i.e. grass fed beef and salt and clean water and easily digestible fruits and "vegetables" like squash zuccini and avocado is the right way to go. quit eating the food that made you sick, get exercise and sunlight and let your body heal its self.

    Hey Kenny! I have IBD, a severe case, and like you I have been rigorously searching for new ways to help keep me in remission naturally.Unfortunately probiotics make me sick for some reason so I wasn’t able to fully follow through with that, but I have found great relief in CBD oil and ginger root. My flares come on by stress and viral infections not food. I eat a mostly carnavore diet with sourdough bread, rice, and cooked veggies because I have some scaring in my colon that diet is easiest to digest.Kale has also been a great relief for me. I just wanted to say, thanks for giving me the motivation to never give up. I’ve been told if I didn’t get my inflammation down, I would have my colon removed. Watching your videos, motivated me to keep looking for answers and to keep trying everything . I think it’s important for people like us who have found a solution to share what works. We are the future. The biological meds that are given eventually stop working so it’s super important to find solutions ASAP in your IBD journey! Keep making videos!

    I have UC and Crohn's. I've been on carnivore for 5 months. To my amazement, my asthma symptoms disappeared and so has my indigestion, acid reflux, restless legs, bloating, flatulence, bleeding gums on brushing, etc etc. Because I have no fibre, I get no blockages in my 25cm stricture. If I try and add anything back into my diet, my asthma symptoms start again as well as indigestion and acid reflux, so I'm just staying on carnivore. I eat bacon, eggs, beef, chicken, bone broth, fish, cheese and lactose-free milk, but I major on beef. I have no pain or bleeding, and all my blood are fine - not short on anything. BTW, I'm a 63 year old female 🇬🇧

    Ulcerative colitis here. 14 years since diagnosis.
    Carnivore diet works the best, organic meats are ideal. Salt, and water always induces remission in me while giving me a clearer mind, and less sleep i require to feel refreshed.
    However, i worry that im not getting everything i need..
    So, I've been slowly re introducing fiber into my diet to feed my gut microbes, promote a healthy gut barrier and optimise eubiosis of the gut.
    I'm currently on nsaid's, mesalamine. I wish I could come off the drug, however this is my current predicament.
    I found removing emulsifiers helped tremendously, also, artificial sweeteners, excess sugar, roughage, such as dominant insoluble fiber, and the most impactful environment issue being stress.. if im playing a game and it jump scares me I will get symptomatic.
    I'm currently eating lamb, cooked with duck fat, vegetables like carrot, corn, peas, beetroot, and some potatoes in small amounts. I take milk kefir in very small amounts. Water kefir in very small amounts, coconut yogurt with blueberries, and dark chocolate drops. (High cocoa)
    My idea of a cheat meal is a mcchicken patty from mcdonalds which is 160 calories.
    Supplements i take are curcumin with every meal, glucosamine, b12, and glutamine.
    I try very hard to both optimize my gut biome, and keep asymptomatic.
    I don't have any symptoms at present, no blood or mucus, and use the bathroom 1-2 times a day in the morning.
    I hope some of my adventure can help someone else suffering.
    Please note: what is working for me isn't necessarily what will work for you.. so, please listen to your body and what it is and isn't okay with. :)
    If anyone has advice or recommendations I would appreciate that wholeheartedly.
    I have used kenny's own health journey as a layout for my approach and he is correct on most things. The carnivore diet is an amassing ultimate elimination diet which i stand behind when symptoms become out of control.
    Thank you, Kenny.
    Tyson.
    Regards, from Australia.
    Update 1: I have past healing the ulcers, I have gone from Eating only meat to adding blueberries, from adding blueberries to adding Melk Kefir, Water Kefir, Goat Kefir, and Water Kefir, taking multivitamins incl. Curcumin w/Black pepper as an anti-inflammatory. I've now added Beetroot, Carrots, Green peas, and Brussell Sprouts, and some dark chocolate 70% cocoa. My body is handling them fine.
    What Kenny is discussing works, it really does, we just have to learn the foods our body is intolerant of along the way and steer clear of them as there are still foods that disagree with me like strawberries for example.
    I wish you all the best health.
    Update 2: I have no symptoms. Go to the bathroom 3 times a day, with full bodied bowel movements.
    I eat 700g carrots, green peas and beets a da

    • @Tysonbax
      @Tysonbax 3 місяці тому

      @@gamechanger432 Carnivore is the ultimate elimination diet. It allows for deep healing due to the fact a Carnivore Diet allows for you to void your bowels once every 1-3 days.
      If you're consuming fiber, you're going to go to the bathroom more often, and giving your body less time to be able to heal it's ulceration in the intestinal lining.
      Does this make sense?
      Curcumin is important in terms of long term healing, however, don't make things complicated. PURE carnivore, then once all symptoms have subsided, 2 Weeks after, then slowly introduce thoroughly cooked vegetables with no insoluble fiber. At this point, you can add curcumin with black pepper. Personally, I myself take it twice per day, once with breakfast and again for dinner.
      I hope this helps, mate.
      Keep it simple until you're healed.

    I am a little confused Kenny. You achieved remission and you have no food restrictions, why are you now on a different protocol. Have you had a relapse? Are you trying this different food protocol just for the sake of it? I was more confident following your thoughts whenn you healed and did your last video. To me, it was like wow, this man is healed and he has gone back to the real world. But now you are back with a carnivore diet? I feel distressed now, and my hopes of healing dashed.

    • @team_honnas
      @team_honnas  Рік тому +2

      Hello, sorry for the confusion, no this is not the protocol I am following or followed. And no I have not had a relapse! The carnivore diet is a popular diet that many people with IBD have reported having success with. I think there are some good elements to the carnivore diet but that there are some things could be improved. This is just a protocol that I created to show how I would go about structuring a carnivore style diet for people who wanted to try this type of approach. I believe there are many ways to structure a gut microbiome optimizing approach, so I am showing how I think one could go about doing that in a carnivore/animal based way. Hope that clears things up!

      @tauraitanakira6255 Рік тому +1

      Thanks Kenny, this clears it up. Your original protocol is very well explained and convincing and have encompassed it as part of my healing journey, with a few modifications to suit my own specific conditions; no UC or Crohn's. IBS, and leaky gut. Massive improvement following it, but without grains. Many thanks for the videos.

    Could you do a video or suggest a video or research about why you think carnivore or meat based isn’t great long term? I’ve heard one or two others who don’t suggest that and they cited gut issues mainly I think but I, wondering what specifically the issue is. Is it a lack of something in meat or too much of something or what? Does it work for some and not others and that’s why some or so many say they’re healthy after years on it? I guess they could be not telling the truth or have health issues they don’t know about but can’t really assume that without info can only really go on the fact that they seem healthier and take a lot of weight off, though tests would be a lot better. That one meat based guy actually did show some of his labs I wish they’d do that more. Feels like that would really demystify it if you’re doing the diet for many years or do even a bunch of people on it other practitioners then get extensive gut and blood work test and bone density and so on checked. I was looking more into doing animal based including a lot of raw dairy, some core supplements and probiotics, and maybe periods of cabbage juice. Probably would also use erythritol.
