And the dispatchers take it seriously
they have to stay awhile because sometimes people who are held against their will, can call in and say random shit trying to get the cops to play along and help them
Also, there is some sort of encoding your adress or somehow mae the police understand that u r in danger but you cant tell it due to people being around. What if it was such a case?
Guys I’m pretty sure the reason that the operator was not giving him the answers is because he was probably still suspecting that the kid could be in danger and is trying to get more clues as to what the kid might be secretly trying to tell the operator. Even though he knows it’s likely a harmless call he’s still doing his job.

Not that anyone cares but what I think happens with these is that the title didn't have any keywords people search for so it takes a very long time to get initial views, but once they have enough data that people like the video the algorithm starts recommending it and the video blows up.

It isn't against the law to hang up but you would be hesitant to do so because if you hung up on a person and it caused police or an ambulance to take longer to get to them you would be held liable.
I sometimes forget how the help lines work, then I’m reminded and am absolutely blown away by the mental stress these people go through. Equivalent of ambulance paramedics, utter selflessly putting their mental health on the line to save people.

That dispatcher was awesome!!! I think he was pretty stunned that he was ONLY 4 years old doing math problems which is not developmentally appropriate at his age. They should be running around playing, not sitting down doing math work. And he probably felt like he was too young anyway to try to understand.

I sometimes forget how the help lines work, then I’m reminded and am absolutely blown away by the mental stress these people go through.
Equivalent of ambulance paramedics, utter selflessly putting their mental health on the line to save people.
I love how the officer pauses after the 4 year old tells him his age to grapple with the fact that a 4 year old is being taught math meant for 6 year olds.

Yh it makes me doubt if he’s actually the age he says, I don’t know about American schools but typically you wouldn’t be learnt subtraction/addition etc up until year 1 ( around 6 years old ). Of course his parents could be teaching him
Probably his parents just teaching him. I mean its kinda good that they are doing this, I learnt how to count to 100 (and even multiplication and partially division) in age of four, thanks to my parents, and I didnt had any problems with math in early school.

That dispatcher was awesome!!! I think he was pretty stunned that he was ONLY 4 years old doing math problems which is not developmentally appropriate at his age. They should be running around playing, not sitting down doing math work. And he probably felt like he was too young anyway to try to understand.
