  • We have another round of finds from earlier this year when the artifacts were plentiful! Things have been slow lately, but thankfully I found too many artifacts to share earlier this year. I've been hanging onto some of the nice stuff to share when things got slow! There's one modern mystery piece that I found that i'd enjoy hearing your thoughts on. A baggage tag from a steamboat was suggested, but I can't confirm. It looks similar though. The highlighted artifact at the end of the video speaks for itself. It's a true work of perfection, somehow remaining whole all these 1000's of years! Thanks for watching! Please give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed, comment, and subscribe!

Thanks man! The bank I found it on has just enough gravel on it that I for sure knew it would be broken. I couldn’t believe it when I flipped it! I almost called it a G10 in the description, but every time I do that the artifact gets picked apart by people! Haha They point out every flaw I apparently couldn’t see! Haha Thanks though man, I really appreciate you taking the time to check it out!

How?? that needle tip on the Pinetree defies logic. Still as sharp as the day it was made. I'm in love with that big ugly (Eva?) at 3:00 though. It has a story to tell. You know that guy didn't care. He was going get dinner that night, or stop that bear no matter what.. haha!

    • @Points365
      @Points365  Рік тому +1

Haha Man it blows my mind too! It might be a little less unbelievable if it were a sandy or muddy bank, but this one has its fair share of gravel. It must’ve just gotten washed out of the high bank above before I found it. Unusual find for that particular spot. The big ugly one was so funny! I spotted that one from the boat as I was motoring along. Pulled over and recovered it! It’s either a big eva, or maybe even a maples. There’s no telling the backstory on that thing though! I can see it now.. sitting there with hunger pains.. knapping that thing, feeling the edge with his finger thinking… yep, good’nuff! Lol

Haven’t seen you in my lineup in a long while old buddy ! What a great video. That last point was spectacular ! That second one sure was a honking big, crudely made piece that was at the same time a great find . Thanks for the tag along, enjoyed it.
I’m thinking that numbered disk reminds me of time keepers brass. I worked for a construction company that used similar. When we arrived at the site we went by the “brass shack” and our “brass” was moved from one board to another to show we were present that day. The last thing we did if we left early was check by the shack and our exit was noted by the timekeeper and our brass was moved back to the first board for the next day. Everybody entered and exited through the same gate and if your brass wasn’t moved you didn’t get paid for that day. Good control for a site with a large number of employees.

Thanks buddy! I probably haven’t been in the lineup because it’s been so slow for me lately! I’ve had to put in some serious hours just to find a few. Still fun just being out there you know! But your thought on the tag sounds like what a couple other people have mentioned as well. Y’all are probably onto something! As much as I’ve researched it, I haven’t been able to find a thing on it, so your input is appreciated! Thanks again and as always friend!

You are persistent and knowledgeable about yiur sutes and went to hunt them etc. Cool stuff man, add it all up and it creates a point recovering machine, thats you! 😅😂 Sometimes it all just adds uo right and the good points flow like wine. Its hard to do it consistently though! The notching on the corner notch at 7:00. That suckers mean! And the star of the show pinetree man, thats absokutely as good as can be hoped for from any pine tree at that size. Thats one of those few and farther between quality pines. Not a knick on it!!!! Tag off of a bridge timber !! My. Stepdad and I both worked for the ALDOT dept of transportation and he had hundreds of those types of tags only differences between yours and his was his wasn't sloted just a hole so could possibly be rail road trussle timber tag I'm not sure on that part !

      @Points365  28 днів тому

That’s a different idea.. I haven’t heard that one yet! Thanks for the input! All I’ve seen on old railroad bridges and crossties were an engraved broad head nail driven into the end grain. Maybe that style is and older one? The closest thing I’ve seen in my research was a pic of an old steamboat luggage tag. Narrow wide strip was where a leather strap attached it to crates or luggage. It was a close match, but not a dead ringer, so a timber tag is worth checking out. Thanks man!

I’m not sure how long of a piece can be used in a flintlock. I have seen old arrowheads that had been used in flintlocks. That is neat to see how back in those days, the points were so plentiful they just used them for those purposes! I appreciate your time buddy!

    Lost for 9000 years ?
The American Indian did that in 1885 ,
My Great Grandmother was a full blooded Indian and these types things were pass down through our family .
She would have been 40 or 50 .
I have REAL Indian beads dated 1916 from my grandmother and this would have been when she was in her early 20's .
I'm sure other Native Americans have the same gifts that have been handed down over the years , you better recheck that 9000 year old date on your video .

    • @Points365
      @Points365  Рік тому

Dude, you need to relax BIG TIME! Given the fact that there wasn’t a makers mark etched on this piece with a manufacture date, I am left with only what history has shown. Therefore I am left only with what i have understood through research and history, that this particular style of artifact was dated between 9,500-8,000 years old. Not to mention if you really looked at the artifact without a negative mindset, you might have noticed the mineral deposit that formed on that artifact. That can’t just happen over 150 years bud. Thanks for watching and being so snappy!

      @@Points365 ,
Adam and Eve were created 7048 years ago , and there was nothing for 20,000 years before that ,
Scientists call it the MISSING LINK !
Because there is a link missing from Neanderthals until modern man !
Scientists know it , even the Bible says it Genesis 1:27
Male and female he created them there
Points , that's not talking about Adam and Eve 365
Because God didn't make Adam until Genesis 2:7
So there wasn't anything on the Planet EARTH 9000 years ago , God said so and Scientists confirmed it with the missing link ,
And I have similar Arrowheads myself and it doesn't take long for minerals to form on anything , look at stalactites and stalagmites in caves are minerals at 1 thousand years or less , , your 9000 years is in the missing link period when nothing was here ,
Indians camped along side of rivers and streams before the white man came to America , me and my buddy find the exact same thing as you at Indian camps , Columbus was here in 1492 , that's 500 years ago , and all tribes of Indians were here another 1000 years before that so 1500 years maximum .
9000 years and no Neanderthal bones to go with the Arrowheads ?
What's wrong with this picture ?
Not one single person has found Neanderthal bones . That's what's wrong with this picture !
But there is Indian burial grounds !
      And my relatives .

      @@Points365 ,
      I need to relax ?
      BIG TIME ?
      WELL WELL WELL !
I just found another video that said POINTS,
One year ago and these are your very own words 365 , I found some keys for a H.H.M. Safe Co. Dated 1896
Civil War Era lead ball 1860s
      and
      Arrowheads
And the date I gave yesterday 1885 for my Great Grandmother who is FULL BLOODED INDIAN .
Which is the the SAME Era as that 9000 year old spear point you found ,
      It ain't even 200 years old !
Yeah , I need to relax BIG TIME !
Because you don't want people to find out that 9000 years is actually more like
      175 years ago !
Who exactly chipped that 9000 year old Arrowhead when there were NO human beings on the Planet EARTH ?
Scientists confirmed it with actual Bible scripture saying it !
Adam was created 7048 years ago and 20,000 years before that the LAST Neanderthal man had all died out !

Haha I’m glad I could ignite a little passion in you! If you want, I will edit my video to say: lost for 7,048* years…
Would that help you sleep bette at night? Personally, I don’t care if these artifacts are 5 years old… somebody lost them, and I enjoy finding them. It brings me joy being out in nature, taking in the beauty that God surrounds us all with. Simple as that. I still think you need to relax and lay off the coffee or something!

I don't care about your 9000 year old date when nobody was on the Planet EARTH ,
I don't care about 175 years ago when my dead Great Grandmother was here !
      I just don't like LIARS !
      I don't drink coffee , don't take drugs ,
I do however like to read the Bible and about Indians and history
Leonardo da Vinci , Albert Einstein and my favorite Nikola Tesla .
