Certain waterways can really produce after some good rain, you never know what you might find. I hope you find some more artifacts some time! I appreciate you watching and commenting.
I live in Mountainburg amongst some of the greatest Native American artifacts and shelters. I Knapp as well, I am 1/4 Cherokee Nation Oklahoma, and work with them on making points for their gift shop. I find a lot of really old ones and try and replicate. I found one at the house the other day and in all the years of finding Native American artifacts I found a bird point that was a small flake triangular point. The very first ever found up here
Thanks man! It was a great time. The snake is actually a black rat snake, I find a lot of them around here. My family had chickens growing up and they would always be after the chicken eggs.
Most rocks in the creek actually don’t have a lot of stain on them after a flood. These have washed out recently. A couple of them have slight staining and the creek wear on some of them is clear as day. You may need some better glasses my friend.
I hate when people don’t just use their head. When you artifact hunt a creek after a rain most of the stuff you will find just got washed into the creek out of the bank, that’s why it doesn’t have a creek stain. People say the same about bottles, you might find a few that were in the bottom of the creek for a year or two but money have recently been washed out of their resting place in the dirt.
@@BigfootBottler-rc8te Thats exactly right! That’s why we look after floods so it washes stuff out. Sometimes I get lucky and find creek stained stuff right after a flood, there’s no doubt that some pieces get stained under the rocks then turned over and revealed in the flood, but I find most of my creek stained stuff once the water has gone down a lot. Especially when we’re almost in drought stage and I can finally search the deeper holes that weren’t accessible before.
@artifactsofarkansas5549 Just nothing really handy around the house...I have a buddy down the road ,invited me to one of his creeks, but can't find time to get together.. 😎✌
Probably pretty similar numbers here in general. A couple of my hunting spots have rougher and more water worn ones than others but I don’t hunt them as often and try to stay to the spots where I find the best ones
A great marathon of beautiful pieces my friend. Enjoy until the end. BLESSINGS.
@@coyotearrowheadhunting3083 Thank you coyote! Good luck out there, blessings to you and Pepe
I’ve only found one artifact in my life and you find such cool ones casually 😅 these are so nice!

That’s awesome! I don’t run in to many knappers, hopefully that bird point was the first of many for you to find up there.
Nice finds 👍
Thank you!
that kingsnake was almost the highlight of the show, but the points take it.

Great buddy!
Thanks man!
@ always!
Good work 👍😊
I appreciate it!
Holy smokes brother, killer finds. Its flooded big time here, ill probably have to wait towards the end of the week to hunt it. Congrats on your finds
That’s exciting! I’m looking forward to seeing what you find
Why don’t the artifacts have creek stain on them? Every rock in the creek has stain except all the points. You have to admit that’s fishy.
