How have they held up?
Great video as usual. I did the LED upgrade to my 01 but used the ones with the larger housings with the fan. You should do the 4 or 6 HI mod. I did and it makes a huge difference. I also did the parking light DRL conversion as my DRL's were running so hot that they burned out the sockets. Keep the videos coming !!!

Yeah they look good bro, but I ran 9005 for my fogs and they are definitely brighter! I'm running VPlus LEDs in my truck though. I like them better because they in a blue billet aluminum, so when off they give the lense assemblies that icy blue look that I like, but bright white when on! Cool video bro 👍🏽
I did this upgrade also. I have an 05 Avalanche. I did the 6 on mod too. They're both awesome.

@@tony_3166 you truck takes both. 9006 is the regular beam, on the outside, and 9005 is the high beam, on the inside. If you are replacing one of them, you should replace all of them at the same time. I went with L.E.D.s. They're wighter and brighter than regular halogen you can get at an auto parts store. And a lot cheaper too.
Thanks for posting this, I could never find a video sharing the cutoff pattern. Surprisingly not bad for halogen housings. That light pattern in the fogs though... oof.

I accidentally connects the negative and positive. All fuses and relay were good upon testing. What’s next ? No power to bottom light and LED.
Relays and a rewire would help even more

I didn't, but I had recently installed these headlight housings and adjusted them to where I wanted them. You shouldn't have to re aim them unless everyone is flashing their brights at you I guess.
Great video for the headlights. Those fog lights look terrible though. The light is all scattered and has no cutoff to perform as a fog light.
Are the led diodes supposed to be top and bottom or facing left and right?

I've got some old 6000k HIDs in my low beams sitting in stock Denali projector housings. One of my housings is peeling reflector off the inside and the light spreads a bit off into the ditch. Do you think these Auxbeam LED produce more clear light output? I have seen a few videos on them now, but not sure how they compare to HID output. Or would you recommend LED over HID if I were to spend money on a whole new setup for headlights?
This is actually my first set of Led headlight bulbs so I'm probably not the best person to ask. Just from what I've read, Leds should last longer, and just comparing this truck with my 2017 silverado with factory Hid projectors the Led's seem a little brighter, whiter light.

Plug and play. I don't drive this truck much at night but they are still working good.

How have they held up man I own an 03 Silverado with the Anzo U-bar headlights and I've had them with halogen bulbs but I've been looking for some long lasting LED bulbs so would you recommend these?
I checked Headlight Revolution (idk if you've heard from them) and on their website it they dont show or rather reccomend any type of LED for the 99-07 Silverado only for the fog lights Idk why.
I don't drive this truck very often and especially not at night, so I can't speak for longevity. All I can say is they are super bright and seem like great quality from unboxing and installing them. Also the fact that they fit without trimming behind the lights is nice too unlike others that have a giant cooling fan on the back.
@@TyBrink Okay. still, these have been the only one's I've seen that look the way I want them to because my halogen bulbs are really dim compared to these. I'll give'm a try and see what happens, thanks!
Ty brink do you get a usual hi beam from on coming traffic. Just asking. I installed the similar axbeam led bulbs just a few months ago. I get them once in while
I don't drive this truck enough at night to get any. I would just suggest checking how the headlights are aimed, they might be aiming higher than you need
@@TyBrink all I did was change out the bulbs. They are at factory settings
@@aril2395 well some people say you should only use LED bulbs in projector headlight housings instead of these stock reflector housings. You can still try to aim them lower otherwise go back to halogen bulbs.
Thanks for this. I've been trying to find a detailed video to really see the difference in light output. Where did you get your new housings from though? I need a set and these look great on there but I'm concerned about the reliability of an aftermarket assembly. Have you had any issues with leaking/ bulbs not seating correctly?
These were just cheap ones off of ebay. I don't drive this truck in the rain but I do use a pressure washer on it. I used silicone and put extra around where the lenses seal, I noticed a small amount of moisture in one of the parking lights once but it's been fine since.

No just plug and play. From my limited knowledge I think you would only need to do that with blinkers.

These are actually the only LEDs I've tried, I've only used regular halogens before. I hardly ever drive this truck at night either so I'm not the best person to ask, but These are holding up good and are nice and bright to me.

It's just an aftermarket one I got off of Ebay a couple years ago I painted it to match.
hey man, what type of turn signal bulbs are you using?
Not sure exactly which ones they were, but I went back to a normal bulb because the blinker flashes too fast without adding a resistor or something.

You should get the led switchbacks so it’s all matching but when you use your turn signal, it goes back to the orange color
I had amber Led bulbs for the front turn signals but they flashed 2x fast and I didn't know how to fix it so I just put regular ones back in for now. I should just put Led bulbs everywhere else too like the taillights since I went back to OEM taillights.
There’s some things on eBay for like 8 dollars that help them from flashing twice as faster but I keep forgetting what they’re called lol

Are the highs and lows the same ones?
Lows are 9006, highs are 9005.
Hey man you just solved my issue i was going to get some led headlights for my 04 5 speed silverado and i think i found the ones im going to get do you think they blind other people on low beams
As long as they're aimed correctly you should be fine. They are probably similar to my 2017 Silverado with OEM HID projectors as far as brightness.

@@expertgaming3234 the first link is for the p10 bulb from them and that is the same bulb for both low beam and high beam. You just select 1 set of 9006 for lows and one set of 9005 for highs.

Man, Chevy did a pretty bad job with these headlights from the factory. No way to aim them side to side, dim, and I don't understand why they kill the low beams when you use the high beams. And the reflector on the high beam is so bad that it's less useful than the low beams. I love my '04 Silverado but the headlights are terrible.
Mine are the best headlights I’ve ever had. Even stock. And high will stay on if you pull the lever towards you and hold it.

Those fog lights are trash put the same kind you put in the high beams in there or low beams.
How do I get them to fit
Alonso 214 they should just fit right in the housing. Or if not the bulb size, at least put the same style
