I like having the side LED's on the headlights as well. Like I have on my Signal/Parking lights. Which are on my 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500. So they are a better match. It makes them look more factory then without. Not bad looking headlights though here. :)
Instead of hooking the U BAR to your parking lights - is there any problem hooking up to the DRL? I guess the only issue is that they would be off when headlights are on.
These don’t just “plug and play” if you hook up the led bar DRL the way they show in the video, it will blink with your turn signals. You will have to cut the green plug off and tap into the DRL wires and then you can reuse the stock outside blinker bulb and assembly.
Only the heavy duty Silverado’s have this design, you need to fix your title because people with regular 1500’s are going to think it’s a piece of cake to replace the headlights
Will these lights work if my truck has the H1wiring and lights ? Also is there a good LED light you'd recommend with that light and one that clears the frame of the truck.

I have the U bar headlights in my 06 f150. I would like to change the low beam bulbs to LED bulbs. I know it changes the bulb size to h7 but still doesn't look like the led bulbs will fit. Is it possible?
Your use of Scotchlock connectors in a weather and salt exposed environment displays a high level of inexperience in vehicle wiring. Scotchlocks fail within a few years allowing salt water incursion into the copper strands ruining several inches of wire adjacent to that connection. Uninsulated butt connectors with adhesive lined shrink tubing afterwards is a superior and permanent method of making these connections.

I bought these headlights and I must warn you, DECORATION ONLY! NOT BRIGHT AT ALL! Too dim to run the LEDs by themselves at night and not bright enough to see if there on in the day time. Don't waste your money
