I just look at a 98 the other day, sat for a year and the only thing that wasn't wrecked was the rebuilt transmission. Dude wanted 9k. I offered him 5k and even that was too much. People are insane.
Literally had the exact same truck same color combo and canopy 99 24 valve 5 speed 1 owner and it the exact same booklet with every maintenance item ever installed along with gas mileage as well all the way back to 1999!
Nice rig! I had a 1998.5 Cummins, almost identical to yours except mine had a flatbed on it. Wish I could find one like that around my neck of the woods for that price. Most are bringing $8000-12,000 here. Awesome content man! 🤙🏻🇺🇸
So to be clear you get some type of discount for these trucks or how do you find these amazingly low priced Cummins 🤯 These trucks are selling for $20k + on the market rn
Adjust the valves to .07 intake and .017 exhaust...turbo will come in 200 rpm sooner.FS2500/or Amsoil by pass oil filter. 1/2" fuel line from fuel filter to vp44
For the 99? I just had the valves adjusted on the O2, I think he did point something 20 and point something 30 I don’t even remember really what he said, but definitely drives a little better after never been adjusted for 191,000 miles lol
@@The02CumminsRAMfor the 99 and 02..same engine.. waaay to loose..factory is .010 and .020....if valves are to loose the valve slam into the valve seat.
Much better condition than the red manual Cummins
Way better! lol
I guess that’s one perk of working at the dealer.
yep! lol

It's probably the starter going out my 01 had that problem. New starter fixed it.
A Carli lift with some Carli ball joints would be nice.

What is a 53 block?
It’s a series of Cummins engine blocks that is known to have a weaker side wall, that is prone to cracking.
Seems to cheap to be true
