how or why or is the Ring of Fortune so expensive, isn't this the ring you get if you choose truth or something in the arr mission? heard from someone else
if my math is correct: hw+stormblood hunts will rake in 15+20+75 seals per expansion per day = 220 seals per day total aetheryte ticket is 5 seals per ticket, so you may gain 44 tickets per day as soon you can do all 30 hunts 2 weekly B ranks as elite hunt targets is 2 x 100 seals = 200 seals or another 40 tickets per week 7 x 44 (from daily hunts) + 40 = 348 free rides across the game if you can spare the time in the week you may spend some of those tickets to reach the various hunt areas but you should become a carefree traveller pretty soon still
@rivenoak Yes. I did this, and Carnivale, and built up 3 full stacks of 999 tickets... before taking a break. I wanted to see if 2997 tickets would carry me through all of Dawntrail.
it is technically possible to do 18-20 exploration ventures each week. Getting 15+ will require that you get up early and/or stay up late at least once during the week though. 7 days x 24 hours is 168 hours. Divided by 18 hours per venture, gives you 9 and 1/3 ventures per retainer per week.
@@Calder90 It count for the first of the two log that only ask for 10 ventures the second one specifically ask for 15 exploration ventures which are the 18h one
These are all solid tips. I'm doing it slightly less these days, but I'll still snatch what I can, when I can from time to time. Finally hit the point where my FC submarines are just perpetually making bank so the desire to do smaller, constant gil gains is less of a focus now.
Excuse me? You think everyone knows these methods? Not everyone has time to do market board crap eureka submarines etc. This is universal for everyone.
@@vytasffbismarck7001 Just because this isn't the maximum (potential not actual) gil gain possible does not make this less meaningful. If you only have time to do a little, but you keep with the game for years, you *will* amass substantial gil. Everyone can do this. Not everyone has an FC. Not every FC has a house. Not everyone has access to their FC's workshop. Crafting and gathering can take a lot of time and a lot of gil to start. Eureka is basically not available to Dynamis players without server or data center hopping. Marketboards can get really competitive and if you are unlucky, or on Dynamis, there might not be enough demand for whatever you wanted to sell. This is easy gil, on the table for everyone, that you can get just by doing combat job stuff, and can be done while leveling classes or while waiting on any of the above methods you think are so superior. Part of what Zane really emphasises in a lot of his gil vids is how to turn your other activities into straight up gil. Multi-tasking.
@vytasffbismarck7001 what I do to make gil is irrelevant. I sell stuff on the market board, I do my roulettes for tomes, I do blue Mage carnivale for my seals, I do my custom deliveries every week. I do the majority of these things maybe not every week or day but I do. My job is to give others mostly new players options outside the norm to make gil. And I have done plenty of gil guides for this game some better than others but that doesn't disqualify them for being useful. If you have an issue then I advise you get off the Internet.
@@ZaneLionhartffxiv could you please explain the process of it? i've done the whole doman enclave but never understood the whole making gil from it part
Good guide, but the time sink for 10-100k here and there for hours of time doesnt make risk/reward sense. You are paying in time. I'm not saying to buy gil, but the sellers value 10 mil at $7 US. Better to make a goal of what you want the gil for, find the 1 or 2 ways you like to make gil (treasure maps or hq crafts for example) spend 1-2 hours a week prepping your market sales and make 10-20 mil a week.
If ppl who don't have much time to play these options are for those ppl. They are often quick and painless and can be done in minutes. What you're suggesting is for those with ample amounts of time to prepare and set up their retainers.
@ZaneLionhartffxiv curious if you think getting war to 100 and doing maps solo for an hour to get mats and 1 to 6 weapon coffers could be a video you do? They are still selling for 10 mil.
@FFXIV_ACHIEVEMENT_Hunter I tried but I can't defeat the map enemies to get the portal. War is too weak even with full normal raid gear and my samurai can't get healed by my chocobo enough to kill em either.
At some point all it really is is "Are you paying attention?" and "Do you do the basic things you can do?" I just do gil farming to kill time at some moments otherwise I just pay attention. Anyone can make an easy mil a week just doing roulettes, lotting everything, desynthing, etc. For anything but "I need to buy raid gear" or "I want expensive aesthetic stuff" it's more than enough. Almost everything you do makes gil lol. Between daily expert roulette, gathering 1 map and selling it, desynth and submarines, it's like a guaranteed 500k per day. I just see patch day as the first day of prep for the next patch LOL.
i think u forgot to routete give u 120k gil if lvl 90 to 99 but lvl 100 give you the same low money from the review of the video, but is good to know all the information too
@@ZaneLionhartffxiv I do spend gil on teleporting, and I immediately make it back to cap by doing whatever I teleported for. I cannot, without losing my entire mind, do relic weapons from ARR, because of the step that requires tens of tier 1 materia. Vendor gear immediately crashes my wallet from cap and is always worse than anything else available to me, so like anyone else, I don't bother. I don't remember
For anyone that wants a TL;DW:
- Challenge log
- Weekly BLU Log and Carnivale targets
- Doman Enclave Donation
- Custom Deliveries
- Bojza weekly repeatable CLL and DR quests
- Allied society dailies (ARR?)
- Hunt bills
- Roulettes w/ adventurer in need bonus.
I'll be adding timestamps
Thank you so much for explaining how I never pay for teleports, so I don't have to, anymore.
Happy to help

I'm pretty sure you don't even need to do that, Quick Explorations should count.
