    i notice your Spectra Premium CU2580 part that you listed was a wrong part number for the v-8. The part number should have been Spectra Premium CU2581

    Hello How to Automotive I'm looking at acquiring a 2005 4runner v8 it's been sitting for 2 years unfortunately. Should I ressurect this vehicle by towing it to a mechanic or stay far away?

    Thanks for the vid. How come there no transmission fluid that leaked when you disconnected the two lines? Thanks

    • @HowtoAutomotive
      @HowtoAutomotive  4 роки тому +1

      Radius when you take the lines off it’ll leak an ounce or two but not much. Now if you were to start the engine it would dump all the fluid out.

    You don't have to take the fan off you can just push it and the shroud foward and remove the lower large hose. I didn't have the tool to take the fan off so I improvised.

      Do you need to clamp the transmission cooler lines?

  • @michaeldiaz754
    @michaeldiaz754 4 роки тому +1

    No need to remove the fan shroud and fan to do this job.
