Looks simple, but not easy. I need a replacement, I’m broke and a more than a bit intimidated. My fear is always doing additional damage. I appreciate this video however I used this video extensively and successfully removed and installed a new radiator. Thank You!!! It wasn’t nearly as difficult as I made it out to be. Have I earned my UA-cam Mechanic sticker yet?
Good video. Some that have done this on this vehicle said to use a special tool to remove the clamps on the hoses.I see you removed them with large pliers though. Good to know as I will be doing this job on our gx470 this winter.Do you have a link to that ratchet you are using?
Very helpful video bud but I think you are putting in the wrong type of coolant in there. It should be that pink/redish coolant. Not the green stuff. Also the part showing how to remove the fan shroud would have been helpful as well. Never the less a solid video and a thumbs up from me.
Ok I got you with the fan shroud. I watched again and noticed that you mentioned that you will have enough space to remove the radiator. You also mentioned that you are going to replace the timing belt. Any chance of making a video of that along with the water pump?
damannoa sadly no. I had to have it done in a short amount of time and recording takes a long time. How to Automotive has a great video on how to do it and the need parts. If you plan on doing a timing belt on this SUV get all the parts he recommends and don't buy cheat parts. Gates makes a great kit.
Yes, I watched his timing belt change video about 4 times already lol. He's very informative and super helpful. Its always good to have a few different videos on how to tackle such a massive job. I'm sick of going to mechanics and getting ripped off. It's helpful vids from you guys that shows us the way. Subscribed to your channel bud :-)

Thank you! Got it done in no time thanks to your help!
RED ASIAN COOLANT, not green!
Thanks so much! This was EXTREMELY helpful
Saeed Altaf you're welcomes. I'm glad I could help

Thanks. I didn't show how to fully remove it because you don't have to to do this job. The coolant was pervaded by the customer.

So you don't keep the radiator cap off and the engine running and Purge the system? Such as squeeze on the hoses? That is something you should do
Great video. I’m wondering will replacement on GX460 be really similar?
It should be.
Link for Radiator?
Did you really need to take off the air intake?
