Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy has cemented itself as one of the greatest trilogies of all time. Every film is a masterclass in writing and direction. So much so that very few CBMs have managed to come even close. Let’s take a look through the DKT’s many unused concepts and see the many directions these films could’ve went.

I think it’s funny that Bane’s original mask was too “unrealistic” for the trilogy, so instead they gave him basically a Darth Vader breathing tube mask for a face when in all honesty a tough guy from South America running around and beating people up wearing a luchador mask sounds pretty plausible.

I actually really like Bane's mask in the movie and much prefer it to the luchador mask. I've always found the luchador mask a bit dumb, but there have been some cool designs of it over the years. But when I saw the mask in the movie, I loved it. It's design definitely has very subtle nods to the luchador mask in the areas that show his face and the breathing apparatus. But the mask is just badass and I wish it would actually make it to the comics permanently. I just think his look in TDKR is superior. I know most don't agree with me. And that's fine.
