Besides how many characters in action movies actually wear body armour? Do characters in sword movies always wear armour? No and you can argue he wears simple stuff to keep his speed and agility in order for his aimdodging.
Actually BvS Batman does have body armor under the exterior suit. I think the tear apart art was to show how it was under and not necessarily to be used in the movie. We can see some bullets impacts on the suit be it does not appear to be pierced by it, implying that the suit is protective enough for Bruce to be shot at so there is most likely armor under, just like we can see in the movie with his reinforced helmet

I still think they jumped the gun on having Doomsday when it could have just been Bizarro. Too big too soon to kill off Superman and I think that was a crucial mistake on itself but love the art design of the film. Also Metallo, yes
No lol. Metallo was a perfect option because they had an entire story built around the events of MoS, the stuff with Wally would have made him perfect and it would have played out quite naturally. Bizarro doesn’t really fit this kind of story at all, unless they made zod into bizarro, would wouldn’t have made any sense at all since he’s a direct clone of superman. I think the Metallo concept is brilliant but I see why they went with doomsday, to have a final fight between Batman superman and Wonder Woman you need a pretty powerful villain. Metallo would have probably been beaten very easily by Diana, his only advantage is his kryptonite based weaponry. Diana is a Demi-god, plus Batman would have been able to neutralise him quite easily Doomsday was really the best option in that respect, or at least better than bizarro.
These arts also confirm many rumored things for this tape, Metallo as the second antagonist and Nolan's Batman instead of Affleck's. I suspect that Metallo's plot was changed by Doomsday's in favor of Warner's plan for Justice League since with Metallo the death of Superman would not have been an option and this would perhaps open the way to a sequel to Man Of Steel interesting all these concepts Anyway, BVS for me is still the best installment that Zack made for his DC universe
if Warner Brothers not interfered with Zack's vision, this movie would have been better recieved. the Ultimate Directors cut of the movie is the one they should've released, but WB cut a ton of crucial plot elements. i still believe Batfleck is the best bat we have seen, he is raw, powerful, the suit and the car, everything works. the cave, Alfred, this vision is the best one that exists

That’s usually because money is a factor and movies can’t always use the concept art. Concept arts are very detailed and aren’t made with vfx. Bringing those onto live action movies is a very difficult task, and to have them there for any lengthy amount of time is very expensive.
Snyder was originally going to use the design shown in 13:36 as his final form but the studio tried to neutralise his look to avoid him looking too scary. Remember dc has had complaints in the past that kids found some villains too scary, for example Danny devs penguin was labelled too monstrous for a superhero film. So this design for scrapped and they forced him to make doomsday appear more human like to make him less intimidating

I love this movie more and more with each passing year, but despite my growing appreciation for it, one constant remains: *I still hate this Doomsday design.* It's just so... yuk. No. That's not it, guys. That's not it! I'm not sure if you know this or not, but one of the reasons this Doomsday turned out so unrecognizable in the finished film was a directive Deborah Snyder (Zack's wife/executive producer) gave the visual effects studio to incorporate features of Jesse Eisenberg and Michael Shannon, respectively, since this Doomsday was an amalgamation crafted from Lex Luthor's and General Zod's genetic material. If you look closely, you'll see hints of this in his brow ridge, nose, and jawline. He ends up looking like more of a deformity than he does the ultimate lifeform seen in the comics. He was also waaaaay too tall for this film. A more accurate physical representation consistent with the source material would be trading the heights of Doomsday and Darkseid, respectively. Doomsday is the one who should be 8 ft tall since he's the universe's most adaptable lifeform capable of surviving in all environments, whilst Darkseid is the one who should be 12 ft tall since he's a nephilim/god figure. Doomsday is not the lumbering giant BvS portrayed him as. P.S: They went overboard with the electricity and energy powers too!
Fun Fact: According to Snyder Christopher Nolan actually wanted Batman killing Superman and Batman regrets he is killing Superman in future movie. Also Batman was going to be Leader of Justice League. Batman and other JL members decides to revive Superman. This was going to proof The World Needs Superman. But Snyder and Nolan later decided to scrap this idea. And they wanted to adopt Death Of Superman which is Doomsday killing Superman
It's not a bad movie it just needs to be sent to the editor. The pacing is terrible its just so slow. I watched the DC cut and it was really long and slow. I don't mind slow but slow with a purpose not slow just to be long. I read once where producer said that Prince had studio diarrhea. Everything that came out of his mouth he thought had to be recorded and put on an album. I think Snyder has that problem. Every idea he gets is put on film. He started doing that with Next Men. I still say that wasn’t the real Doomsday. The movie, when Lex made it, the ship AI said it won’t do it again & was forbidden
My favorite movie of all time
Mine too
That metallo story would have been 🔥🔥🔥🔥 as well
3:26 The cowl looks strange, he looks like Ashoka from Star Wars.
That first concept art of Batman's looked like he got transformed into an egyptian god.
14:03 Spikes all over Doomsday's body? Look again at the concept. You mean its upper torso, around its neck and back.
If the producers didn't mess it up, the ultimate edition of BvS could have been released in the theaters
Yessss!!! That’s what it should’ve been! It should’ve been the Dark knight Returns like what it was based on!
Common WarpingFist! W
Freaking awesome
do one for the batman
Liked before watching..really excited to hear what you got to say.
I hate that fact that they used Doomsday in this movie but when a studio mandates something stupid. This is want you get.
Psalms 32:10
10 Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord's unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in him.
Amen ❤, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. He is the only way to Heaven. To get to the father (God), first you have to go through him (Jesus). He is the only way for eternal salvation. Reject sin and accept Christ before it is too late. Have an amazing day! 💜🤍💜🤍
Metallo was such a brilliant addition to make these 2 fight and then go agains't him
I personally prefer the short ears over the big ones. I think the big ears look a little corny.
every director has their own vision.
Thsis is so cool wish I could make my own superhero movie or script.
PLEASE DO SUPERMAN LIVES!!!
I just wish doomsday was little smaller
I’ve been wanting this
16:34
in this doomsday concept the artist seemed to be high
The Dark Knight sets in DCEU could've make sense cuz Batman is aging and Christian Bale was the right choice to play old Bruce Wayne as seen from the Dark Knight returns.
No the suit looked so phony . BAD
men they should have used the first concept it looks better than the one we got so many good concept part of the movie that didnt make it men would have been awesome to see batman tried fighting doomsday like he kept the armour suit and help the two
The design at 7:17 works for me.
His cut of Justice League is better but it doesn't need to be over 4 hours.
"And would have unloaded into doomsday with Wonder Woman right behind him"💀💀 what the heeeeeeeeeeeell
I blame the writing of bvs more than anything for how shit it was. Snyder has a great eye for scenes, but the writing just blows so hard.
