What a machine! What a driver! Best sounding four cylinder! Probably the best camera position and lighting that I’ve seen as well! Please keep driving this beast and letting us enjoy the ride!
How do you direction change so fast in those fast small narrow corners. It doesnt seem like you have a handbrake. The rearend just fliks on a dime. Also I love it is a stickshift and not a sequensial gearbox. I know they era there for speed but a stick shift is just another skill level up.
It’s possible that the co-driver is actually calling out pace notes- or perhaps he is just going through the motions flipping pages realizing there is no way he could keep up.
On day I’d love to see a video explaining the gear you use. I get it that that’s your secret sauce but getting footage this smooth in such a bumpy experience is totally wild. I have relatively cheap gear by comparison I’m sure but wow I’m blown away
I gues the goal is that it is tightent to the car as hard as possible so the interiour doesnt move on the screen. Also the camera has most likely image stabilisation from the looks of it
Amazing drive from Thierry, also one question: What is that gearbox? Looks like a manual but his feet dont move when changing up and down? Am i seeing wrong? Is the clutch travel like 2 inches?
GoPro w/ External mic, Hard mounted to the roll cage, Image stabilization off, Exposure locked, Linear FOV, Colour graded in post or set to it's most accurate profile in camera.
clean af! those narrow roads look so dangerous. did you ever recorded a crash? i liked that the camera support looks stiffer, no bump shakes and just small rpm vibrations. curious to hear the pace notes
I wonder how much faster he would be in his regular WRC car? It's just insane to see him fly through the state, especially compared to other cars racing the same stage.
Car is not nimble and would be the last choice just before a BigWheel and only barely. Driver loos more than awkward, over correcting steer and not able to judge how hot to enter a corner. To think that a commercial sedan can be modified can be a successful rally platform is one thing, attempting to do this with any BMW is dumb. 😇
2:58 6:47 car looks extremely nimble changing directions like that and very well set up. You have no idea what you're talking about, and would likely understeer off the first corner.😇
Same car, Same driver, Other stage: ua-cam.com/video/8-LhTuxQZL4/v-deo.html
Going that fast on streets that narrow is crazy 😮
It’s his job😉
Looks like my usual drive home after work...
Joking of course. Fantastic demonstration of car control.

i can feel which tire slips
incredible
you're the only one who gets overcast lighting correct
Amazing. As always, perfect camera position
What a stage! What a driver!! It’s weird not hearing the co-driver but it’s kinda nice
Our Champion Thierry Neuville !
Images quality is over the top, sound is incredible !
Surreal experience !
Thanks !
Wow! Thanks for mentioning the driver, as I'm not so surprised given the level of control at the limit!
This is the best driver i have ever seen in different cars! Hope you will drive more cars like this
Some parts are so CRAZY fast. Humongous balls required for this.
Mais enfin c'est délirant une telle maitrise ! Les top pilotes de WRC ont un truc à part.
I wish todays rally cars were this cool in wrc! Thanks so much for sharing :D
The driving is just insane. I wish i could drive that stage in some simulator.
Quelle auto !!!!
Emmenez par Neuville c’est quelque chose !!!
Merci pour le partage ❤
Big up's to the Co driver aswell
Absolutely incredible!
que ça fait du bien entre 2 videos de WRC "modernes"!
How are you micing these up? The audio sounds fantastic!!
Merci
What a great stage, great driving skills and the coolest rally car ever 😊 realy nice to watch it👍
Outstanding lap sir 👏

The car has a hydraulic handbrake. Almost the same position as in a normal car.
It’s possible that the co-driver is actually calling out pace notes- or perhaps he is just going through the motions flipping pages realizing there is no way he could keep up.
crème de la crème 👌👌👌
Beautiful video! Great work

Just found about this channel, will show my car buddies
Great video as always! What camera do you use? Thanks!
Thank you
Ah, Thierry Neuville ! J'ai compris pourquoi ça allait si vite !🤣🤣👍👍
When your buddy tells u to just follow them...

I wonder who makes this dogbox. Is this his personal car?
It's a Drenth Motorsport Getrag 265 Gr. A spec Dogbox. 🙂
@@theHenryline Very nice
I can't see anyone beating his time in his class...
Wipers are bit high. Thats the only thing I found wrong about this video.
Terrifying

just a thought but I think 17 overall wins and 55 podiums over 142 rallies probably qualifies him in the "can clearly drive" category

Sounds like a skill issue.
