@@gaycha6589 No synchro mesh, just a few notches on the gear's side and you just slam the opposing notches in as quickly as possible to fully engage them instead of just scratching their surfaces. It's crucial to lift of and blip when shifting, though.

How they would handle those Audi's, Lancia's and Peugeot's and drive them hard like Thierry is driving this BMW here..There are many videos of people driving MG Metro but IMO that's not on the same level with those other b-group cars...

Very nice driving, I like Thiery he is realy motorsport enthusiast. Is this car using some modern type of transmission, that he can uphshift or downshift without touching the clutch? I know that Audi sport quatro had clutch button on shift lever but never heard about similar system in BMW...

dog box transmission. A civilian car has synchronizer rings to make the shifts soft and comfortable. The dog box has way deeper gear teeth so the shifts are violent but no clutch is needed, and the shifts need to be fast
Difficulter but more efficient without the clutch, the gearbox is a dog box, so it’s possible to change the gear by releasing the torque during a small moment with the throttle
