I’m building pc for the first time and I’m thinking of building something similar. I saw your comments on i9 being an overkill. I’m thinking of maybe doing 4070ti paired with either i713700 or 13600k which one would you recommend? Or is the 4070ti will be even worth it over normal 4070? Also would there need to be any other change to accommodate this combo? Thanks!
It mainly depends on your budget and what do you use it for. 4070ti pairs well with both 13700 and 13600k without any issues. If you gaming on 1440p or even 4K resolution, I would highly recommend going with the 4070 ti instead.

Depending on the resolution you’re gaming in! Generally don’t recommend 4060, but if you’re on a tight budget, it is a good card!
Nice build very similar to what I want . Question , is it possible to put GPU power cable feeding it under the motherboard ? and is there space to add another row of lian li fans where the radiator is ? just curious for the build I have in mind .
Yes you can put the GPU cable down and feed it from the bottom of the motherboard.
And yes you can do push pull configure the radiator but keep in mind that you do need longer fan radiator screws to mount the entire thing onto the chassis

We got the white 8 pin cable from the Lian Li triple 8 pin Strimer V2, the triple 8 pins model comes with 3 separated RGB cable. amzn.to/3sPsBiC
We had one extra sitting around, and we like the thicker RGB cable from the 12VHPWR RGB cable better so we decided to swap it out for that!
So basically those Lian Li 8 pin RGB strimmer cables comes with 3 but you only need 2 for the cpu power connectors on the top left? Also the 12VHPWR cable is for the GPU right? Reply please! Thank you again! ❤ 🙏
The Lian Li Strimer cables are essentially just aRGB cables so you can detach the aRGB cables and clip it onto whatever cables you want as long as they are flat and will lay flat inside the clips on the Strimer cables

Great question! Lian li didn’t make any single 8pin Strimmer. To fix this, we ordered the 12VHPWR Strimer and replace the extension cable with a single 8pin PCIe extension cable, that way we can still get the strimmer we all love and don’t have an unused 8 pin PCIe extension cable.

Yes, you can definitely find a more affordable entry level motherboard and maybe DDR4 RAMs to pair with the RTX 4070. That way you should still be able to get similar performance!
Hey, im building a similar pc. If it were up to you, using an rtx 4090, which model of gpu and motherboard would you use? I love the look of the prime, but people seem to not like it 😢
People are very likely to overspend when it comes to motherboard, the ASUS Prime is a great entry motherboard. If are not utilizing the features of the higher end motherboard like the Maximus hero, there is no need to spend that much on a motherboard

The GPU is where my doubts lie, there aren't many white GPUs out there, I was just looking to play 1440p, so I was in between 4070 and the ti
@luva0804 for 1440p, I'd recommend the 4070ti. If you want it in white then the best one is gigabyte aero. Match it up with a 17 13700k.

Is there a difference in temperatures if you set the aio on the side with intake fans compared to on the roof with exhaust fans?

how did you manage space with usb 2 cables? built this pc and i cant allocate space, using the nzxt splitter doesnt allow the L connect software to detect the strimmers or fans

Did you have intake fan bro?? all of them is exhaust...i want to build like this too but air pressure is the barrier to make it like this
Our goal for fan configuration is to achieve neutral or positive airflow. This means we aim to have an equal or greater amount of intake than exhaust.
For this particular build, we have designated the top three fans as exhaust, while the side panel has three fans for intake, and the bottom three fans are always set to intake. Leaving us with 3 exhaust and 6 intake, which is positive airflow.

It was our customer choice to go with the RTX 4070 since he would not be fully utilizing a more expensive and powerful GPU. He is only doing some really light gaming session so he'd prefer to spend most of his money on the things he needs and likes, in this case, a powerful CPU and a good looking PC (Aesthetic).

at 6:00 I am removing the HDD case since this customer did not have any HDDs but the component I removed is designed to mount HDDs and you can use that.

I think an i7 or ryzen 7 would be a better option for the 4070.
But if we consider you want to upgrade the gpu later on, the i9 is justified.

Absolutely agree, our customer specifically told us the system is going to be for video editing, so it makes sense to go all out on the Intel i9-13900K and leave some room for upgrades with a RTX 4070.

you do realize there is a hole big enough to fit those RGB cables for the GPU at the bottom of the case below the motherboard, right? That is so ugly to put the cable off to the right like that.
Yes we do! We didn't want to block the aesthetic of the GPU of the strimer cable, if you mounted it this way, you can maximum real estate with your strimmer cable and it just looks cooler when it's closer to the 24pin strimer. I totally understand people have their own preference of placing their strimer. Our customers are satisfied with the placement, that is our only priority! 😉

For most people, YES you're correct. But some of our clients use their PCs for mainly video or photo editing which is more CPU intensive, so they will choose to go with a more powerful CPU.

Watching you use that cheap powered screw driver was painful. You didn’t do anything any favors with that. Buy a quality tool with a clutch if you feel the need for power tools.
If you watch some of our other videos, you’ll noticed we use an electric screwdriver all most all the time

This build is the definition of spending money in the wrong places… this budget should’ve walked away with a 4080 at MINIMUM.
Everyone has their own definition of where they wanted to spend their money on and what they think is worth the money to them. I totally understand if someone wants to prioritize performance over aesthetic, hope more people can understand why people do it the other way around.
