thanks for the video EK. A discrepancy I noticed in the linked shopping list, however, mentions you need 10x EK-Quantum Torque HDC 14 fittings. You actually need a total of 12 fittings. Also, in the video it is not mentioned that the bracket for the side rad needs to be rotated. Discovered this as I was building my PC..
found out the hard way about rotating the bracket too while doing my build. to help clarify to anyone else reading this, you need to rotate it 180 degrees, not flip/turn it around. if you look carefully in the video at 2:58, you can see the square holes on the left side of the bracket visible (normally those are on the right side)
Now make a video going over the distro plate please😅
You have to use their water block FYI for those push fittings, learned the hard way….
Building the exact same setup now. Waiting for some 7mm push adapters. Running a X420 in the bottom position, we will see how that all fits together. Also want make the fans work on the inside of the side radiator.
LMK How you do the fans on the side rad please
Me too. Starten today. Happy New year
Using a S420 rad on the inside will allow fans on the inside of the case.
@@scorpius1827they should work with the p420, looks like there's just enough clearance before the pump. Haven't tested it myself yet though.
@@scorpius1827alright, I have all my rads in now and you can put fans on the front, however, you have to get creative with the tubing. Running the top port of the side rad to distro is easy. The other port is a flat no go. I'm still working out a workaround and have an idea in place just need some tubing to test it out. I either get super creative with bends or need a couple more fittings. It gets very tight up there lol
Thanks for posting this because I am doing almost exactly this build. Just wondering what fittings I need for ‘normal’ gpu installation.

Why is this so relaxing to watch?
Show us the cable management!!!
Beautiful build, congratulations! But why you ant to push the hot air from the vertical/back radiator inside the case? it make no sense to me...
Because in this type of system that hot air isn't really affecting anything. Also with that much radiator surface area it's not going to run very hot at all even under load. Temps are unlikely to ever go about 65. Having the side rad as intake keeps a lot better positive pressure inside the case to avoid dust settling. Same way I plan on doing it, bottom and side intake, top and a rear 120 as exhaust. Except I'm doing pushpull on the side rad, and my build is white. Just ordered the distro plate, waiting on all the info on Intels new socket and Ryzen 9000 series cpus before I buy the big stuff. The loop can be pretty much built entirely before any of that.
Insane Build! Is there something installed to measure the flow and temperature?
That distro plate is amazing, but the price tag on it, had to come back out of the cart.
Do an NV7 Build PLEASE!!!!!!!!
would it be possible to flip the top and bottom radiator 180 degrees and use straight tubes instead of using push in fittings / very short tubes to connect to the distro? for me it would look even better with those 4 additional parallel tubes :-) (if yes, can i still use the radiators from this part list on the build? thanks in advance! @EKWBofficial
Doing the math and the fact i physically have the case it should fit Using the P420 rads. But just, depending on the fans you add it might not. However, if your happy to use S420 Rads you will have plenty of room for tubes over the top of it.
appreciate the answer! Meanwhile i got my build done and was able to use P420 rads! about 3mm from 90 fitting to the vertical GPU bracket lol. turned out perfectly@@scorpius1827
@EKWB you should do one of these for an inverted build 😊
Incrível irmao, parabéns pelo trabalho. Como posso conseguir a lista completa
21:9 ftw !!!
What are the fittings do you need that was used in here?
stunning!
I would have avoided the blank side radiator by mounting the fans on the visible side and guiding the tubing through second chamber.
Prob not enough space for clearing the distro plate
You can just attach the rad from the second chamber
@@sparkplugbarrens nah not this one this is a too thick rad you can only accomodate a slim one on the chamber and still where are you going to pass the fittings ^^
Unfortunately the P420 will not align vertically with the ports on the distro if you flip the tray around and mount it recessed into he side chamber. (Even if you space it horizontally correctly)
You CAN cut the case opening at the bottom to allow it to slide down and get it to align, but I decided against cutting my brand new case.
You rotated the side radiator mount bracket. I installed it the opposite and my radiator is too close to the distro plate.
Amazing look.
mesmerizing, truly one of a kind
if only it was that easy on the 011d xl , pushing in the push in fittings to the distro is a nightmare
Trick is using a bit of coolant on the orings to lube it. It slides right in :)
It’s about time
I would love to see a build in this case in the reverse setup, where the right side of the case is visible vs the left (case is effectively inverted) as that is my current setup.
Great idea, we'll put it on our to-do list! While you wait for us to build it, check out the inverted setup in the non-XL version of the O11D EVO: www.ekwb.com/shop/stl-dragon-blood
I currently have my case reversed with an upright GPU and I’m curious how well water blocks work in that configuration.
Are those some type of antistatic gloves? Or are they just to not leave any finger prints
If i change 4090FE waterblock to AMP/Tinity RTX 4080,i wonder that whether EK-Quantum Torque Rotary Offset 7 ×2 could be used or not, please give me a suggestion。
Would this loop lose a lot of performance with just two radiators?
@EKWBofficial Thanks for the detailed video - I had to watch a 1/4 speed to catch all the details! Working on this build myself - can you confirm the fan direction on the radiators? Is it in from the bottom and side, out the top? This is counter intuitive for me, with 2 radiators heating the case air and only one providing exhaust. Thanks!
Running 3 420's is more than enough surface area to keep everything nicely cooled. It shouldn't be an issue.
I just noticed in the ASUS MB manual you are supposed to remove that protective clear sleeve off the CPU retention arm. Says it could interfere with your cooling system and damage your system. Looks like you did not remove it either in this build before putting on the CPU block. Does it really need to be removed? Asking for friend that just took his rig completely apart to remove it. :)
Would it be possible to run the horizontal rad tubes the long away around, so from the back of the case thus showing more coolant? Looks like the GPU vertical bracket would block the back tubing run possibly
lol exactly what i asked now but you worded it way better. hope for an answer on this, seems pretty tight at the bottom even with that "thin" rad
@@crax999someone did do this, and yes it blocks the vertical mount. This looks way cleaner honestly, rather than wasting head pressure on longer tube runs for no reason.
Distro plate will fit with watercool upright gpu?
Uhm, not sure what happened to my comment I posted about 6hrs ago, but it's gone. Strange... I mentioned how the Plate does not align with the velocity2 Monoblock on the z790 GODLIKE MAX without more than 7mm offsets, despite a correspondence saved with EK suggesting I buy parts I don't need and not buying parts I do need for said loop. My previous comment (that one that seemed to have got lost, somehow) I asked for assistance and mentioned I also posted on their official /r.
What gives., EK?
Hey I saw you use some fitting lubricant, do you provide with a fitting kit and do you really need it? another thing is that I want to know what the difference is between the x flox and just the normal flow for the radiators, and what uses do they differ from in simple explanation?
Late in the video stated he just used coolant for lubing the o-rings.
Can you do a push pull config on those radiator or no
My build uses EK radiators and Lian Li fans:
Top: P420M with fans, rests on the EPS cables. Absolutely no room for push-pull there.
Side: P420M _can_ do push-pull but the fans will interfere with the side radiator fittings and tubes. Also, the top and bottom radiators will block half of the top and bottom fans on the side radiator.
Bottom: X420M with fans, reaches the bottom of the motherboard. No room there, either.
You should be able to do push-pull if you use slim radiators and slim fans (I've seen some 140mm fans at a svelte 15.5mm thick on Amazon). Or, you can move the motherboard up or down. Of course, that will negate the advertised benefits of Matrix7 and you will either buy a bunch of extenders or start bending tubes.
@@the_cursor Doing push pull on the side p420 works but only one fitting (the left most) is obstructed. You have to run the tubing back and down and use a micro 90 on the distro to come around the fans but it does work. It's how mine is being done.
@@the_cursorso its relatively fine if I just adjust the motherboard, im not bothered by the tube not being aligned since I would be be using soft tubes anyways
Does anyone have any idea how to use the 3 way splitters? I bought x2 3-way splitters. I dunno how to use them?
Where did you put the drain plug on this one? I built it but couldn’t find a good place to put the drain plug.
Best option is the drain outlet near the bottom rad on the inside, just under the pump. When it comes maintainence time drain most with that, swap it for a regular stop fitting, lay the case back and put the drain on the front bottom drain hole to get every last bit out.
can we find a distroplate for the inside (beside the motherboard ?), i want a XL case but i want to keep my front glass
Sure, you can use any side distro plate that fits the side fan mount, like the EK-Mana G2 PC-O11D EVO Distro plate, for example.
Can you still put 2x120mm fan at the rear even if using 420mm rad at the top?
No just 1. 2 is only possible in the lowest position.
asus apex encore + msi 4090 suprim x compatible?
so do you not need disconnect anything from the psu just turn on and of to fill
It's not a good way to do it. Jump the psu with only the pump plugged in would be the much better way.
What fittings are seen in 4:54, I cannot locate all them on the parts list. I see two push-in fittings, one 90 degree a rotary, a couple torque compression fittings, but is that an offset? I can't idenitify the pieces on the far left... please help!
Hey, thanks for noticing - we totally missed this part! It's the Quantum Torque Double Rotary Offset 28: www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-quantum-torque-double-rotary-offset-28-black
i made allmost same build, but i have issues with the pump cover. the pump doesnt work properly and i almost broke it. some scratches are on her but works fine with standard cover... do u know what may cause the problem?

If I will use on the bottom X420M radiator instead of P420M , will it fit fine without the MF 14 extenders?
Yes, it will fit perfectly without the extenders as it is exactly 14mm thicker compared to the P420M radiator.
Hey EK!
I'm curious, just bought this chassis and this distroplate. But I have 2 360mm radiators and 1 420mm. are they able to run the same setup with connections and still get it to work? and when it comes to the CPU block. If you don't have an EK block, do the parts end up in the same place or are they different from manufacturer to manufacturer? Thanks for a great video and a really nice build
Hey! That's an awesome case you just bought! Sadly, the 360mm radiators won't fit the case (without modification) due to O11D EVO XL’s asymmetric mounting pattern, but luckily you've already got one 420mm radiator that you can easily mount inside the case without altering it! The ports on the 360 radiators are separated by the same distance as the 420mm versions meaning they can be connected to the distro plate in the same manner, but you would have to modify the mounting tray to mount them in the middle of it.
While can only guarantee that our own blocks' ports end up in specific locations, we offer a wide array of offset fittings which are just the thing you need to achieve straight tube runs with minimal hassle. Browse our selection here: www.ekwb.com/shop/quantum/torque-fittings/torque-rotary-offsets
Found this on your website. With the installed distro plate, the maximum radiator size is the following:
Top: EK-Quantum Surface P360
Bottom: EK-Quantum Surface X360
Side: EK-Quantum Surface P360@@EKWBofficial :)
Just some small mods easy :) This will be EPIC
Did you already finish the build with 360mm? @@1984TarpeN
yes i have 480 in the top, 360 in the bottom and in the side. @@ivangeorgievski8805
I’m building this case/distro/rad combo for the second time. Installing the Distro plate was tricky on the first one, and on the second one I’m currently building, I can’t get the bottom mounting screw on the Distro plate to line up. I’ve lubricated the push ins, installed the fans all the way to the left of the bottom bracket, and even dremeled out additional space to slide the entire bottom fan/rad assembly even further left. Any suggestions, or do I just have a bad production sample?
I'm building the same exact setup currently as i'm typing this lol. I only got the side radiator in so far.
Is it normal and/or safe if there is a ~1mm gap between the distro plate and the "screw wheel" of the Push-In fittings (I'll call it "screw wheel" since I'm not sure what that part is called, I mean the thing you turn when you screw it into the 90° Rotary)? On my build it won't go further into the distro plate for some reason and I've aligned the top and bottom P420M radiators and fittings exactly like you did in the video. I used the EK Leak Tester on the loop and it hasn't lost pressure for an hour so far, but I'm wondering if it's safe to have that tiny 1mm gap in there or if it could leak over time. I'd assume it should be safe since the O-Rings are inside the distro plate and the big "screw wheel" of the push-in fitting doesn't have another O-Ring, but I'm not sure.
It's hard to say from the video if you also have a small gap, in some angles it looks that way, in some it doesn't.
For the SIde Radiator what is raccord use ?
Raccord?
That resoervoir really ruins the aesthetic on the front glass panel ;(
Are those antistatic gloves? I don't think so...
Nitrite gloves are mostly antistatic anyway. It's pretty hard to generate a shock that will kill components so just standard nitrite gloves will be just fine for pc building. Or could do the linus trick of esd strap around the ankle to keep your hands free
❤❤❤
360 or 420 rad?
Can you mount the side radiator the other way around so you can see the fans
No, that is not posible.
I saw someone else do it because on that case you can move the side radiator back@@saneldomeh92
