@archetype_origins Hey Brother, I have Everything ordered for my PC Build and the very Last Thing I had to order was My Case Fans. 100% Deciding to go with the White Build and the UNI TL LCD Fans > I started to Plan my Exhaust / Intake (including Push/Pull Setup on the AIO mounted up top) When I was done planning and ready to Order them in. I had TWO Diff people confirm with me That the Controller will Only Support "Proper Communication" with 9 of the LCD Fans (to be specific - Only on Ports 2, 3 & 4 of Controller) That it will support the connection of up to 16 TL and TL LCD Fans, but Only 9 total LCD Fans on those specific ports. so what was your solution for connecting 10 of the LCD Fans as it looks like you DID. Also, I know the Strimer Has it's own Controller, but looks like you said you had a total of 4 Lian Li Controllers. What were all of them for? (And did you possibly use more than 1 Fan Controller to accomplish using more than 9 LCD Fans? Because i did not know that was an option) BTW, My NZXT H9 Elite Case will be setup as follows" 3ea (Reverse Blade) TL LCD Fans up front on side Pulling Air IN as Intake with the LCD Showing inside. 3ea (Reverse Blade) TL LCD Fans at bottom Pulling Air IN as Intake with the LCD Pointing Up inside case. 1ea (Reg Blade) TL Fan on Back of Case Pushing Air Out as Exhaust 3ea (Reverse Blade) TL LCD Fans at Top **Above Radiator** Pulling Air Out as Exhaust with the LCD Screens Pointing UP (to view from Outside Looking Down thru the Glass Panel at top of Case) and 3ea (Reg Blade) TL Fans at Top **Below Radiator** Pushing Air Out as Exhaust (Working as Push/Pull Setup with the 3 LCD Fans Above AIO) Also, I could technically use these exact same Fans to also Mount the AIO Up Front on the Side with the LCD Screens Showing inside Case and the Non LCD Fans mounted Behind AIO (in Case Side Panel) Pulling Air IN as Intake. As opposed to mounting the AIO Up Top on Exhaust I have not fully committed to one over the other. There is downside to either (either warming air on Intake pulling across the Radiator) or (Using Warm Air from CPU & GPU Inside Case to Pull Across the Radiator to Cool It while Exhausting at Top) Not sure yet "Which" is the better of the Two Options. I have a similar build and I specifically enjoyed the part where you showed the 4 controller hubs haha. Lian Li's attention to details is unrivaled, but I do wish they had a neater solution for the controllers. For the dual 8 pin CPU power, you could have gone with a dual 8 pin GPU strimer for a neater look, but you would have had to of purchased an additional controller separately. I see most people place the liquid CPU cooler tube on the right of the case, but you should try placing them on the left instead, I find it looks neater. Same can be said for the GPU strimer, run It down instead of up so you don't have an awkward intersection of 3 major cables in the center display of the case. The white Aero GPu looks a little out of place in this case as well, but I'm guessing the white asus ROG strix 4080 is difficult to find in stock. Overall a very clean build and I appreciate that you showed the cable management. 👍
The "awkward intersection of 3 major cables" is a significant highlight of the build, in my opinion, therefore I will disregard this advice of yours during my next build. 😁
@@gabrielbatista7634 there is no "exhaust mode" for fans that I'm aware of. Most fans will have an arrow on the side to indicate the direction of airflow, so the orientation determines whether the fan is sucking air into the case or blowing it out.

Nice build and nice to see also the cablemanagement. Would have placed the radiator in a opposite direction, to allow a better view on the fan displays. But overall a good and solid build. Thumps up! It's a pity to see so many LCD fans getting in one build. While I ordered my stuff on the 5th of January and not getting any LCD fans till February, kind of sad. 😢

Obviously its amazing , but just to help out , there is a lot of blurryness in the video , mostly due to camera focus offset. maybe you can look into it. :)
thats what i thought too, i have thhe same fan onfiguration but instead of having the side fans as exaust i have them as intake so that way i have 6 intake and 4 exaust
Where is the problem? It is not super negative, its negative, but it helps to remove hot air supporting a cooler PC. Positive pressure is better to keep the PC clean.
Hey! Sick build. Quick questions tho, I was starting to get parts for my build (i7/i9 haven’t decided yet) and was looking for an aio. I’ve seen you’ve used both the lian li gallahad II lcd and the nzxt kraken. Do you have any preference amongst the two especially for cooling performance, software, looks? I’m currently leaning towards the gallahad because it comes with the uni inf fans but would love your opinion. Thanks!
Not much difference in terms of thermal, the Lian Li Galahad does a have a bigger LCD screen and it comes with the SL infinity fans if you plan on doing an SL infinity pc build. Sometimes, I do prefer the circle LCD screen instead of the square LCD screen on Lian Li AIO
i’m scared that the o11d evo rgb will look too big for 3x 120mm fans, because u can use 3x 140mm fans and then there’ll be some space on top and bottom and i want them to fit in perfectly… so i don’t know if i should order the normal o11d evo or the evo rgb. i really want a clear side panel…
@@archetype_origins Add front mesh if it is available for this one, so you can add three more in front, and radiator on the side using push and pull to add three more 😂. Lian Li Evo XL could accomodate 19 fans though, 5 on the back.
My question, if you're willing to help, is regarding the fan configuration. Is it better with a 4090 to have 6 fans set to exhaust and only the bottom 3 or (2 of you're using 140mm in a Hyte Y70) set to intake? This is where I'm kinda stuck at the moment. Was looking at the Lian Li reverse blades but I am stuck really on what I need for my build. My office is warm and my small old PC make it warmer in here, but in the winter it's freezing where I live so no trouble then lol. Thanks in advance. Def dope looking build you created there. Vertical mount that gpu if you want it to last. Even with the support bracket it eventually crack. Beautiful build I have one just like it but with NZXT
hello, is the item on 3:10 necessary? Does the mainboard get damaged without it? And second question, can I use GIGABYTE B650E AORUS Master also with the 10 lcd Coolers from lian li ? Does it have enough ports? I dont know where to look in that mainboard
12:41. The CPU temperature is 56 C at a load of 1 %. LOL. Because the radiator needs to be placed on the side panel. And the side panel fans should draw in cold air from the room.

It's a pity the Galahad II LCD 360 AIO only comes with SL series fans and with no option to have TL fans. And you can't combine them under the same controller as well which is a pity.

Looks awesome, but I have a question. My build is pretty similar, besides, that I took the tripple in the front as "intake". So, why you choose there outtake? The sinlge rear (where i choose 140mm instead 120mm) is an exhaust, which is perfect and also the cpu cooler is an exhaust...I think that is enough, so the front should be an intake i think

my configuration is very similar, except that my fans are like this....! 1 x rear exhausts....3 x top exhausts...3 x side intikes....3 x bottom intakes...I live in cyprus and the summer here is quite hot plus high humidity... my CPU temperature varies between 38 - 45 in calm mode which is great
Everything was connected as shown in the video, but the l connect 3 program does not see, but only 2 fans in a group, the third does not see, although the logo is displayed on the display, but the program itself does not see 3 fans, namely, you cannot change the pictures in the program, only on two fans. We bought the same usb hub Nzxt and nothing has changed.
I love this build. But, that 3 intake to 7 exhaust confuses me, though. Isn't that negative air pressure a no-no? Always thought the intake and exhaust fans should be the same, 1 to 1 ratio. Or, more intake than exhaust. (More positive than negative pressure)
Wait... Why 4 lians hubs? 🤯 Shouldnt just 1 be able to handle the 4 set of fans ( as they are all TL/TLCD, which are supported on the same hub.. (noob question, dnt slap me that hard lol)
1st LCD hub: 7 LCD fans 2nd LCD hub: 3 LCD fans 1st Strimer hub: 24 pin and 12VHPWR 2nd Strimer hub: Triple 8 pin TL LCD hub only supports up to 7 TL LCD fans, you'll need two hubs. 3 intake and 7 outtake fans would cause a negative pressure issue right? All the builds I see with this case use 6 intake and 4 to 5 outtake so you don't get negative pressure issues. Either way it looks great!

Yes, they did mention that. However, I was able to connect them to an internal usb hub. I did a bunch of different combinations to make it work. Hopefully they’ll fix this issue in the future
7 months late, but that's yt algorythm for you. A suggestion that i have (that i utelized) is that i bought a 19-pin extender cable and into that i plugged a converter from 19-pin to 2 x 9-pin. That way you gain 2 extra 9-pin connectors with FULL speed and capacity so you can each split further with a 1->4 hub to gain 8 9-pin USB 2.0 ports or use eather of the 9-pins from the converter as a FULL 9-pin. Lian li does not reccomend to use a hub/splitter because that way you loose bandwith deviding it into 1/4 the potencial - because the fans use LCDs and stuff so they need the full bandwith of a 9-pin directly from the motherboard - BUT AGAIN, if you convert a spare 19-pin (if you have two or simply son't use one) into two 9-pins then you can see them as a full bandwith motherboard 9-pins as far as i understand it. (Because 19 pin headers are USB 3.0/3.1/3.2 - depending 'when' it was manufactured - the port didn't change they changed the USB namening few times. The important thing is that a 19-pin can support at least 2 full speed USB 2.0 headers - the same that Lian li reccomend to use for the fan hub)

Hi Archetype, i built full lianli system LCD fans as well, but the LCD screen of AIO and FANs sometimes keep disappear, and the PC sometimes does not boot. but what i did different from you is i only have 1 hub for the fans, i dont have RGB motherboard GPU cables. so is it necessary that to have all hub for specific fans? is my problem happen because i'm using only 1 hub for 4 side fans? thank you

I have 8 TL LCD fans in my build all of the work but I can only change the color of the lights and effects on 4 of them. Anyone know what could possibly be the issue?
I returned the dominator ram in favor of kingston beast after doing a bunch of research. It appears the corsair's ram does not support the AMD expo and therefore only runs at 4800. Were you able to overclock them with this setup?

I built in this case as well and was wondering- is it just me or is there no static light setting for the case RGB? All these options and you'd think Lian Li would give you a simple, static light option.
@@archetype_origins So get this- I did some reading on Lian-Li's site and it turns out if you hold down the C button for 3 seconds on this case, you'll then put it in static color mode where you can cycle through different static colors.
That’s airflow. Combination is quite stupid because you’re starving to PC on air. Because you need two intake and two exhaust because your taking more air out of the computer than in But now, when I think after you’re doing a water cooler and you don’t need as much air in the PC, then getting the hot air out

Side fans are reverse so they are intake. Same thing for those below. Just 4 exhaust fans. Backside and cpu cooler.

Not all are exhaust as some are reverse fans so theyre intake

All others recommend more intake, to push the hot air out and prevent less dust.

Hey! Sick build. Quick questions tho, I was starting to get parts for my build (i7/i9 haven’t decided yet) and was looking for an aio. I’ve seen you’ve used both the lian li gallahad II lcd and the nzxt kraken. Do you have any preference amongst the two especially for cooling performance, software, looks? I’m currently leaning towards the gallahad because it comes with the uni inf fans but would love your opinion. Thanks!
Not much difference in terms of thermal, the Lian Li Galahad does a have a bigger LCD screen and it comes with the SL infinity fans if you plan on doing an SL infinity pc build. Sometimes, I do prefer the circle LCD screen instead of the square LCD screen on Lian Li AIO
IMO, the Galahad just looks sleeker than the Nzxt one. Better pump too.

i’m scared that the o11d evo rgb will look too big for 3x 120mm fans, because u can use 3x 140mm fans and then there’ll be some space on top and bottom and i want them to fit in perfectly… so i don’t know if i should order the normal o11d evo or the evo rgb. i really want a clear side panel…

@@archetype_origins Add front mesh if it is available for this one, so you can add three more in front, and radiator on the side using push and pull to add three more 😂. Lian Li Evo XL could accomodate 19 fans though, 5 on the back.

My question, if you're willing to help, is regarding the fan configuration. Is it better with a 4090 to have 6 fans set to exhaust and only the bottom 3 or (2 of you're using 140mm in a Hyte Y70) set to intake? This is where I'm kinda stuck at the moment. Was looking at the Lian Li reverse blades but I am stuck really on what I need for my build. My office is warm and my small old PC make it warmer in here, but in the winter it's freezing where I live so no trouble then lol. Thanks in advance. Def dope looking build you created there. Almost made me want to get the LCD Lian Li's, but I don't want another fail point if I dont need one.
Positive airflow is always better than negative. You should use more Intake to get cool fresh air into your Pc
Vertical mount that gpu if you want it to last. Even with the support bracket it eventually crack. Beautiful build I have one just like it but with NZXT

It's a pity the Galahad II LCD 360 AIO only comes with SL series fans and with no option to have TL fans. And you can't combine them under the same controller as well which is a pity.

I was trying to use the tl fans, lian li strimmers and aio but didn’t have enough usb on my motherboard. Did you have to use a internal usb splitter?

Max of 7 LCD fans per hub, so you'd need at least two hubs.

Looks awesome, but I have a question. My build is pretty similar, besides, that I took the tripple in the front as "intake". So, why you choose there outtake? The sinlge rear (where i choose 140mm instead 120mm) is an exhaust, which is perfect and also the cpu cooler is an exhaust...I think that is enough, so the front should be an intake i think

The 140mm outtake fan positioned right next to my CPU is crucial to the airflow dynamics in my case. Since 140mm fans move a significantly higher volume of air per minute than 120mm fans, this single outtake efficiently pulls warm air directly out of the case.
By positioning this fan near my Intel i9-14900KS CPU, which generates substantial heat, it ensures that hot air is exhausted before it can spread throughout the case. This fan placement directly mitigates the CPU’s heat output, improving cooling efficiency.
The triple intake at the front not only brings in a steady flow of fresh, cool air but also establishes a directional airflow. This setup creates a kind of airflow barrier, preventing the warm air generated by the CPU from migrating toward the front of the case.
This “air barrier” effectively channels the hot air toward the back of the case, where it’s promptly exhausted by the powerful 140mm outtake. This directional airflow is critical; it keeps the front of the case cool and prevents hot air from recirculating or being trapped.
With my current configuration, negative pressure is achieved because I have more outtake capacity than intake. My CPU cooler serves as a triple outtake, combined with the 140mm single outtake, creating an efficient exhaust system. The single triple intake at the front maintains just enough airflow to bring in cool air without overpowering the outtake fans.
By having a dominant outtake, I ensure that hot air is rapidly expelled from the case, keeping temperatures down even under heavy load. This is particularly beneficial for my high-performance CPU, which demands strong and efficient cooling to avoid thermal throttling.
To further refine this setup, I can adjust the RPM of the 140mm outtake with fan control software, allowing me to respond to increased temperatures under load. This flexibility ensures that I can always maintain optimal cooling performance without overloading my system with unnecessary noise or airflow.
In summary, my setup combines strategic fan positioning, an efficient intake-exhaust balance, and negative pressure to create an effective cooling environment for my high-performance components.
Also, putting intake at the bottom is critical with 3 outtakes ... first, Bottom intakes tend to pull in a significant amount of dust and debris, especially if the case is positioned on the floor. This requires more frequent cleaning and might introduce unwanted particles into the system, reducing longevity and performance.
Cool air intake from the bottom is often restricted by case positioning and the floor surface, which can limit the airflow rate. Without a strong intake at the front, fresh air is not efficiently supplied to the components, especially the CPU and GPU.*'

my configuration is very similar, except that my fans are like this....! 1 x rear exhausts....3 x top exhausts...3 x side intikes....3 x bottom intakes...I live in cyprus and the summer here is quite hot plus high humidity... my CPU temperature varies between 38 - 45 in calm mode which is great

I ran into the same issue with my rig, It'll still turn on and work but at much lower frequencies. I ended up just sticking with two sticks at 6000MTs

Everything was connected as shown in the video, but the l connect 3 program does not see, but only 2 fans in a group, the third does not see, although the logo is displayed on the display, but the program itself does not see 3 fans, namely, you cannot change the pictures in the program, only on two fans.
We bought the same usb hub Nzxt and nothing has changed.
I love this build. But, that 3 intake to 7 exhaust confuses me, though. Isn't that negative air pressure a no-no? Always thought the intake and exhaust fans should be the same, 1 to 1 ratio. Or, more intake than exhaust. (More positive than negative pressure)

Wait... Why 4 lians hubs? 🤯 Shouldnt just 1 be able to handle the 4 set of fans ( as they are all TL/TLCD, which are supported on the same hub.. (noob question, dnt slap me that hard lol)
1st LCD hub: 7 LCD fans
2nd LCD hub: 3 LCD fans
1st Strimer hub: 24 pin and 12VHPWR
2nd Strimer hub: Triple 8 pin
TL LCD hub only supports up to 7 TL LCD fans, you'll need two hubs. Check out the links to our TL LCD fans review. The Strimer hub only supports two Lian Li Strimer, you'll need two hubs as well.

3 intake and 7 outtake fans would cause a negative pressure issue right? All the builds I see with this case use 6 intake and 4 to 5 outtake so you don't get negative pressure issues. Either way it looks great!

Yes, they did mention that. However, I was able to connect them to an internal usb hub. I did a bunch of different combinations to make it work.

7 months late, but that's yt algorythm for you. A suggestion that i have (that i utelized) is that i bought a 19-pin extender cable and into that i plugged a converter from 19-pin to 2 x 9-pin. That way you gain 2 extra 9-pin connectors with FULL speed and capacity so you can each split further with a 1->4 hub to gain 8 9-pin USB 2.0 ports or use eather of the 9-pins from the converter as a FULL 9-pin.
Lian li does not reccomend to use a hub/splitter because that way you loose bandwith deviding it into 1/4 the potencial - because the fans use LCDs and stuff so they need the full bandwith of a 9-pin directly from the motherboard - BUT AGAIN, if you convert a spare 19-pin (if you have two or simply son't use one) into two 9-pins then you can see them as a full bandwith motherboard 9-pins as far as i understand it. (Because 19 pin headers are USB 3.0/3.1/3.2 - depending 'when' it was manufactured - the port didn't change they changed the USB namening few times. The important thing is that a 19-pin can support at least 2 full speed USB 2.0 headers - the same that Lian li reccomend to use for the fan hub)

Hi Archetype, i built full lianli system LCD fans as well, but the LCD screen of AIO and FANs sometimes keep disappear, and the PC sometimes does not boot. but what i did different from you is i only have 1 hub for the fans, i dont have RGB motherboard GPU cables. so is it necessary that to have all hub for specific fans? is my problem happen because i'm using only 1 hub for 4 side fans? thank you
So the top fans are exhausting hot air into the AIO? Doesn't seem like a great way to cool the liquid for the CPU

I have 8 TL LCD fans in my build all of the work but I can only change the color of the lights and effects on 4 of them. Anyone know what could possibly be the issue?

I returned the dominator ram in favor of kingston beast after doing a bunch of research. It appears the corsair's ram does not support the AMD expo and therefore only runs at 4800. Were you able to overclock them with this setup?
The white does not seems to offer AMD expo but the black one does

I built in this case as well and was wondering- is it just me or is there no static light setting for the case RGB? All these options and you'd think Lian Li would give you a simple, static light option.
Had the same issues, went through multiple cycles of lighting just to find out that there is no static light
@@archetype_origins So get this- I did some reading on Lian-Li's site and it turns out if you hold down the C button for 3 seconds on this case, you'll then put it in static color mode where you can cycle through different static colors.

Yes 👍🏻 if your radiator is doing its job, the area of your PC where it exhausts will always produce heat 🔥
