Three years ago I found this video and just so happened to have the hook and yarn needed(leftover from something my sister gave up learning). I had no prior interest in crocheting, but three years later, I can now say I’m pretty good at crocheting, and it’s my only hobby. I make things for friends and family and they come out wonderful!
Oh my gosh!! I've know how to crochet for awhile know, but something was always of when I tried to make larger projects.... it was the chain one before making another row... lol. Thank you!
Maaan, I understand how to crochet. I've watched a plethora of videos. I see what I'm supposed to do, I understand the concept... But every time I go to crochet, it never works for me. I start the first line, easy, can do that in my sleep. As soon as I go to make the second row to continue on, It. Never. Works. I've tried different yarn thickness, different needle thickness, weird combos. Nothing! But I can knit... I've knitted multiple scarves, I'm working on a bag, I could do a blanket but ik I don't have the patience for that. 😮💨 I just wanna crochet cute animal stuffies... IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?!?! 😭
Could the problem be that your chains are not loose enough? If you make the chains to small and/or to tight it is next to impossible to continue the next row. For me that was the biggest struggle when I first began to crochet because I would hold my working yarn really taught instead of letting it run free. I still have to remind myself to loosen my grip from time to time. Anyway, wish you the best of luck on your crochet journey!
FOR ALL THE PEOPLE STRUGGLING TO CROCHET, GET A WOOBLE KIT!!!! It is for COMPLETE beginners, and teaches you a lot of stitches. It is a bit expensive, but it will teach you everything you need to know to make a little furry friend.
OMG... I tried for 30 mins last night and I just watched you and figured it out.... Thank you, thank you btw, 10 mins was because the cat wouldn't leave my yarn alone. I gave up and played with the 🐈.
Crocheting is magic. I just can’t get it. I understand intellectually whaat needs to happen, but making the little hook actually grab the yarn, pull it through, let go of the yarn? Magic. Knitting, on the other hand, makes perfect sense, and I could do it all day. My sister and a friend are both mind-blown by knitting and crocheting makes sense to them. Isn’t it interesting how our brains work?
Yeah! My sister in a knitter and I had tried it a few times before and it was okay but I just never kept up with it. I started crochet cause I wanted to make my own stuffed animals and found a love for it! Now I’m making my own clothes, blankets and I can’t wait for more and when I can finally make an amigurumi! Definitely it’s interesting to see which one (crocheting/knitting) different people gravitate towards!

I watched over 15 videos and this for some reason was the only one that taught me anything,
Maaan, I understand how to crochet. 😭
Aw, I’m sorry. I really don’t know much about crocheting, but I wish you luck and encourage you to keep trying!
Amigurumi you mean? Usually, making your first chains has to be more loose.
3 months later and I've crocheted so many things that I'm super proud of! Thankyou!
OMG I JUST LEARNED how to Crochet in 60 seconds AHH IM SO HAPPY I MADE A SQUARE I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO MAKE ANYTHING TILL NOW
FOR ALL THE PEOPLE STRUGGLING TO CROCHET, GET A WOOBLE KIT!!!! It is for COMPLETE beginners, and teaches you a lot of stitches. It is a bit expensive, but it will teach you everything you need to know to make a little furry friend.
Ive never crocheted but I was thinking about learning so this is super cool!
OMG... I tried for 30 mins last night and I just watched you and figured it out.... Thank you, thank you
btw, 10 mins was because the cat wouldn't leave my yarn alone. I gave up and played with the 🐈.

🙌😂Thank you now I’m a pro imma go make some coasters 🙏😄💗
Omg i have watched so many tutorials and this is the first one i actually understood thank you❤❤😂 😂
