HR is in bed with Lawyers right from the moment you are interviewed, and your co-workers are going to take the managers side if they want to keep their jobs. If they dont want you there, you havent got a hope in hell.
Down here in Costa Rica if you work with a trans national company and they let you go, they will provide you with a liquidation package 9 times out of 10 based on what you earned and your time with the company to avoid any legal ramifications. Also to prevent from getting a complaint to the ministry of labor.
Union job here: the union representative recommended me to send complaint to HR and cc him. It ended up with me getting scolded by both and i need to drop it.
You may do that, of course. Management will always talk about their “open door” policy. But I’d also recommend getting some interviews elsewhere in the meantime because you’ll have painted a giant bullseye on your back.
Look for another job. HR will take managements side. Not yours. It's easier to get rid of a lower ranking employee and replace them than it is to find somebody new in management.
Bullying not protected, that's crazy

Imagine being an HR employee who is experiencing discrimination and retaliation. The struggle is real. HR are employees like everyone else.
HR is the company’s legal defense extension.
Interference with legally protected leave (i.e. FMLA leave) is a protected complaint.
This is SO good and WAY more helpful than most similar videos that have thousands of more views….

Bottom line, when your work place turns to shit, instead of going to HR, freshen up your resume and go to Indeed.

What a nightmare.
What if you’re ASKING for CLARIFICATION on a new policy the job is trying to implement? Is that considered a unprotected complaint???
Is there any point, or would it put you at risk, for making a complaint on a change in the companies policy of recognition of employees?

Thank you
What if there's no HR
If there is no HR, management is HR. Making a complaint to management is the same.
Excellent and informative thank you
Ed Hones is the fuckin GOAT
Is there a chain of command to follow like management then HR ? What if management is the problem then what could you do ?

Thank you for this
So my boss told me that my white family can be the Indian family living at the hotel is that anyway discriminate
Huh yeah…and I’m black. That’s clear discrimination but I wouldn’t even bother with fighting it unless you have the time and energy
Unless you have the money for a lawyer, either deal with their racism or find another job
Some attorneys will take the payment on contingenc. @@SonicDeeHedgehog
