@@1411MEDIAyes it can cause siatica, which can leave you with nerve damage in one or both of your legs and possibly walk with a limp the rest of your life. I had it a couple years ago and half my left leg is numb but I don't have a limp

I recently found your channel because I was trying to find someone who had the same taste in cars and trucks. Because of you I picked up a 89 mustang convertible 5.0 automatic car for 500 bucks. The top is in great shape interior is eh but has potential and car hadn’t run since 2017. It now runs and moves top works and I must add it has little to no rust for living in Wisconsin for most of its life. Thanks for the content keep it up

Love the f-cam back in high school I had 64 f100 302 that had an SSi cam that was pretty much same specs and dam that truck sounded mean. Those black widows are badass as well.

I was always taught you had to use a solid lifter and a checker spring due to the preload and the plunger of the hydraulic lifter would skew the reading from the pushrod length checker. I guess either way the longer ones will be better than what you had! love the car keep it up.
These last videos got me wondering where the older notch back mustang is. I hope to see it again soon.

I'm fixing up my fox, almost ready for paint. Then the engine is next. Going to paint it Mercedes blue grey. I get the paint for a good price.

Most of the time the rough feeling in the roller lifters can be cleaned up by rolling the wheel back and forth while it's in a solvent tank. If it's just a little dirt in the oil, that will clean it out. If it's actually a damaged needle bearing, it will feel worse once the oil has been washed out.

I had an 80 Capri I traded for a 97 cobra. In hindsight I shoulda kept the Capri big time
I’ve got a Ford Performance Hurst shifter in mine because the longer shifter is so much more comfortable. I know it makes the throw a little longer but I do not care. So I get where you are coming from with your shifter. Car sounds awesome. Congrats.

The blue edelbrok intake is the 1st rpm performer, they now have had the rpm performer 2. Definitely one of the best efi intakes out there for a street car.
Try to keep your stock valve covers. You might be able to cut the oil fill baffles and fix your problem. Taller covers will most likely hit your intake. A half inch spacer might fix this but you're going to need longer intake bolts. One inch spacer will probably need a new hood. Borrow some to try before you commit to buying them
The 1995 Cobra is "Mystic," The Terminator is "Mystichrome." Both paints are outrageously expensive because they use pigments that are also used the anti-counterfeiting measures in money.

She's got a good crisp exhaust now that cam really makes a difference sounds good man and I like your car the way it is without any of the Body Mods a stock fox body Mustang has a good look to it just my humble opinion
I had the Cobra R SVO scoop version of that hood that's on the blue JBA car...I think it's the scoop in the center of the hood that sets it apart...
Keyboard mechanic here, did you replace all the lifters?? Even the one under the head?? Lol, no hate, loving the fox content and engine build.
The OG Dominator was legendary back in the day! I saw JBA re-released this kit and have been looking for a good Fox builder to put one on.

I like the video. Best of the fox body videos show a car with a bunch of money in it and none of those dudes even know what is in the car or how it works. And your car doesn’t look great, but it sounds great and appears to be running pretty good. I don’t have a shop. I love working on my own and I put a Max Jax lift in my garage, and I can sit out there all day and night.
The front bumper on that GTC car looks very reminiscent of an E36 M3 front
Looks like you still have the stock MAF on the car. There are several options in the wrecking yard that are a straight swap, youll pick up some power over the stock MAF, the orfice inside it is tiny, like 50mm or something stupid.

Hey man you should definitely try e85 in your car I did on my 92 cranked up the fuel pressure and it runs a bit better, I would just try it see how she does.

I got the machined aluminum valve cover spacers from LMR for mine and they’re pretty nice. $180 last I checked, but I’d rather buy those and keep everything else stock than get different valve covers, and have to deal with breathers and emission plumbing and whatnot.
The '96 was just Mystic, the '04 was Mystichrome.

LMR makes a valve cover spacer that’s really high quality. Possibly an option for you.

The cobra r does not have a cobra motor without a supercharger, if you're implying its a 4.6 dohc. It is a 5.4 dohc the same one used in the gt500 a few years later and the ford gt except it's n/a thats why it has that cool looking intake
I ran 12.90 in quarter mile with f cam and 1.7 rockers in a full trim fox
The 2000 cobra r has a 5.4 in it if I remember correctly
what kind of heads you have the ports are pretty big???
Those are 19# Explorer injectors, they have a 4 hole spray pattern compared to the stock Fox single hole pattern. Shouldn't be a reason to run lean unless 1 or 2 are not very good. Oh and if you end up getting taller valve covers or a spacer, you're probably going to need a spacer for your intake as well, ask me how I know, lol

So you bought a set of roller rockers for better performance and felt grit in the ones you put on the engine ! Why not just get another set of taller valve covers ?
Six full size argon cylinders almost killed me this last September. Sounding good, man! I'm really getting sick of these damn trash dumpster LS engines showing up in everything. You can't even go to an all Ford show and avoid seeing those damn thing's!!
