      MyUS.com is complete crap. The order I made since June 7, 2020 has not arrived your facility till date. No one replies emails and even if the reply, they apologise and give no reasonable information. MyUS is the worst so far. Safe yourself the stress and finacial loss and avoid them completely

    So the review is negative based on their prices being too high? I was looking for a review more on the "experience" part, not the price part. There are some people who WILL be willing to pay a couple hundred dollars extra for an item if they can't get it in any other way.

      @@alaaar2349 Actually, I didn't eventually get the order. myUS refunded part of my money after much complain on all their social media pages. The refund I received was not complete but it fair was enough for me.

    Thanks.. Its July 8th, 2024. Was considering using them but now I won't. They wanted, through their shipping calculator, 24 bucks U.S. to deliver a 1 lb package to Ottawa... 3-4 days. $17.00 price was about 10-20 days. In Canadian funds, thats only fractionally less than the place I was going to buy from was charging after converting to Canadian.
    After watching your video and learning about the credit card non-sense, I will not be using them for sure now. Thanks. Saved me some headaches and sleepless nights, I sure!

    International shipping is always expensive. If anyone knows of cheap international shipping, please share and us readers will look into it. Besides the price, they do sound like a shady company based on their practices. Again, be prepared to pay big bucks if you're shipping from US to Canada for heavier items - might be worth it if the item you're wanting is only available in the US. But no such thing as cheap shipping from the US to Canada - again, if there is, please share :)

      I've used a lot of companies and i've had sellers/ manufacturers shit to me directly, the can be expensive, but the moment you run into an issue with them which you will do eventually, you will end up loaing your package, they will not send it back to the seller, they will deduct monthly charges and storage fees in the thousands of dollars if your card is still active, they wil suck you dry and you will end up without a package and thousands of dollars short

    2021, the same thing happened... I luckily used a virtual visa card which is easy to create and delete, I bought 5 phones and the seller delivered to them and they told me "They don't ship items with batteries", i asked them to send the package back and paid them to, and they did not.

    Think you very much for your honest review. I’m collecting what happened when we used myus.
    Most Japanese reported same troubles like yours. I also had the same and other problems several times. But now it is getting okay for Japanese because my contents regarding myus or parcel forwarders are listed on the hundreds’ first pages of google search and thousands readers who visit my blog every month and they began to avoid using myus.
    Now I’m making website in English and I’ll share your this review for the reference.
    If possible, would you change this movie title to a kind of myus honest review, 5 horrible things I experienced or something like that so that people want to click this movie more to avoid their negative experience.

    I have seen and read lots of negative reviews regarding myus and their service, and was extremely worried that it was going to end badly once I had my items delivered to my US address. But now that its all over, i'm just extremely grateful that i didn't have any problems and my items were processed correctly. I expected my delivery fee to be extremely high, and yess, it was very ridiculous how expensive it was, i just wished there was a much more reliable and cheaper system/company that did that same things. I am also lucky that i didn't have to consolidate any other packages, because that would've been a big'ol mess. Continue reading if you wanted to find out more about my experience in detail, because it was really hard for me to find more information, more reviews and have some guidance.
    - For some goddely reason myus repackaged my items (after opening it) and added weight to my package by an extra 700lbs, in which i had to pay for. This is extra shit news because i had to pay an extra $10 for the random weight, but i guess that's how they want to make their money. I'm not sure if it was just me or something other people have experienced in the past...
    - I didn't receive any 'first time delivery' discount. It was advertised that first time deliveries get an extra 20% off their first delivery, but this defiantly did not happen to me.
    - Their calculator rates are 200% wrong. Definitely don't rely on their calculator because it doesn't include GST, repackaging service, access to photos etc. and, in general their estimated rates are a lie. You'll find out you're actually fee when your items are dispatched and your forced to pay.
    -My estimated delivery fee was $39.09usd for the 3.8lbs, but once it was fully packaged the weight went up to 4.5lbs and the actual fee increased to $49.07usd. I can see that I was also changed an extra $2 for accessing the photos, and an insurance fee of $12usd (that you must pay for). I also had to pay GST fee of $9.28usd. My delivery is estimated to arrive within the next 7 days, but well have to see.....
    Here is my experience:
    I used myUs to purchase some items from the US. I bought 3 items that were packaged together by the sender and used the myus US po box that was provided for me as the delivery location. I had the sender weight my items and it came to a total of 3.8lbs, which was corrects as when it arrived at my po box, it was indeed 3.8lbs.
    Arriving at my po box was fine. It took 24 hours for my item to show up in my suite. At first the package said that it was delivered but I couldn't find any evidence that myus had received it, but I gave it some time and eventually it showed up. You can also enter the tracking number of your item into the 'wheres my package' section when your in your suite, if your items doesn't show up in your suite. This helps you find out whats happened to you item. Even if they have receive it, you might still not see it in your suite till a couple hours later.
    They open every package and take photos of them too (costing $2-10usd to access the photos). I paid $2 and got some photos (1x far away angle of my whole package, and 2x photos of the package before it was opened). At-least your able to see your items...
    I had my package automatically sent to my queue and ready to deliver once it had been processed. This is because i had changed my delivery settings in my account settings. If i hadn't selected those deliver options that i would have to 'create ship request' and select whatever items to be repackaged and delivered. So for me, I was confused about what to do next because my items weren't in my queue, but it was made easier because eventually it automatically went straight to my queue.
    Once it was in my queue i was able to access more information about my items including an estimated deliver fee, and my selected packaging settings and the end location of where my item was being sent to. It took a couple of hours before my package in my queue was actually dispatched.
    Once it was ready to be dispatched, the information was moved to 'history' tab. This is where can access my invoice, tracking number and it tells you the actual delivery fee.
    I really hope this is useful for first time users. In my case, i only had one package that needed to be delivered to me. The package had 3 items inside. It was also being delivered to Australia. :) good luck if you do proceed. I would not do it again, unless i am willing to give away my money.

      hii. im so sorry you had to face this problem. i just created an account on myus im glad i didn't buy anyting yet. i need to know tho if ever i buy a product on amazon for instance and i provide the adresse myus gave me, then after the item has been shipped to them do i need to pay myus for them to ship me the products i bought ?

      @@SAS-mt6zt of course you do!! It’s definitely not worth it. You could be paying Amazon $22 shipping to go to the myus postal address, but then have to also wait for myus to open and repackage the package and repost it back to you, which may cost you an extra $40 postal. Totalling $62 for postal.
      It’ll cost you money for them to open and repackage the package too (you have no choice), and it’ll cost if you want a few lousy photos of your package too.
      Yes you have to pay for everything.

    Shipping ANYTHING that is heavy or large is extremely expensive. That's how shipping works. I'm not doubting your experience but have you found a cheaper service? UPS is a nightmare and FedEx are even more expensive.

    Use them in June 2018 to ship various tshirts and gym equipment to South Africa, worked brilliantly. Will be using them again. Their rates are quoted on weight, like any courier company would do, not size.

      they seem more trustworthy than SkyPaxUs and Skybox and work best if your want send multiple packages in one most bad reviews are people ( a lot seem to be Canadians) who are having packages sent one at a time so ofcourse going to get pricey.

      @@Rbalaj1 I order stuff once or twice a year, so its various things, I do that joining fee for one month. They combine and repack all into one package. So its only the joining fee that needs to be added. However if you order 1 package its just that shipping cost from the calculator. I ordered a single from them recently and all i paid was that one price. IMPORTANT, people forget that DHL will contact you for clearance, SA government wants 15% of the product value, then import duties which differs on different products, clothing they can as for up to 60% taxes then. So i find them to be honest, you just need to do your research on goverment import taxes on the item you’re buying... But yeah, I have used them once or twice every year for past 3 years probs.

    MyUS is awesome, used them to send multiple packages to South Africa, shipping prices are market related, their customer service was great. Not sure what the bad reviews are about:-/ Any way, they worl great for me, so dont really care :-p

    The same thing happened to me actually, i asked them to repair some jeans to the retailer, but the retailer never received it and i was out a couple hundred dollars. Oh yeah, they keep on charging my credit card too, even after ive told them to stop. i can go on for pages...

    damn that sucks. I just came to see the video too LATE!. I bought with them a batch of three products from amazon and ebay, the total cost was around 270$ then they charged 30 buks more because of the currency exchange, "they said". I realized about it when the things were never to come (P.d I paid for the fastest shipping service, 4 days). and they sent me a message that I had a balance to pay. Later on, they sent me again another message, apparently I was gonna get the staffs in a couple of days, so I waited... and today I see the product has just arrived to my country, so I contacted Fedex and they said, there is another payment to because of the taxes to my country. That never happened to me when I imported directly from Ebay or Amazon, the price they offer at the beginning never changes and they never charge for tax cause it's implicitly added to the cost of the product which you're paying for. It's worth to tell that MyUs charged me obviously with the US taxes, the packing and so on, so now I'm now like a fool paying about $420. MyUS never told me that I was gonna assume the payment for the taxes. I mean they make me responsible for the Fedex procedures to ship the products to my country when other services like Ebay, don't charge you for such a thing of extra taxes??

    I will never use myUS again - they cost me so much money.
    My issue with myUS is they break things a lot and they never pay. They have a policy of anything that's not in retail packaging, they open it and inspect it, slice slice slice with a box cutter, damaging things, loosing small parts and they don't repackage anything fragile so if it's not broken when it leave their warehouse, it will be by the time it reaches the customer.
    I'm using Planet Express now - so far nothing broken and they're cheaper too.

    I have also big trouble, they just pick $1,022.16 usd from my paypal account and put it on my account as credit, paypal can do nothing they say, why do i have paypal, also a worthless company. I have 2 dually fenders for my chevy that i want to ship to the Netherlands, they charge 1400 usd for it, 50lbs but box is 20 inch to large, and is now oversized, and they won't split package, because they haven't got a big box....

    I ordered a bass guitar for $935 off of ebay, the seller didnt offer international shipping, so I just used MyUS.com to have it shipped to me. But I got an email saying "Export Denied" because it contains mother of pearl and I have to pay extra to have it exported. No problem, Ill pay the price. They try getting in contact with the eBay seller because they needed his Tax ID number for exporting the guitar. MyUS said that they emailed the seller about it, but the eBay seller says that MyUS never sent him an email regarding it.
    My guitar has been sitting in their warehouse for 3 weeks now doing nothing. MyUS just sent me an email saying that they can either discard it or have it sent back to the seller and I can get a refund.
    I just want my fucking guitar already. I asked MyUS if they can just have it sent to my friends address so that he can ship it to me, and they told me no....

      The Angry Fapper You don’t seem to understand, shipping MOP out of the USA is ILLEGAL!!! Doesn’t matter who you ask to send it. MOP is protected by CITES. Again, ILLEGAL to export.

I just seen their ad on Facebook. I looked into it on their website. Their service fits my needs. A little research and what do you know? A real life testimonial from an unsatisfied customer. Thx for saving me a future headache. I have been burned before from shady sellers. I filed a complaint with Paypal and that went nowhere. I was sent a random shower cap and a ball point pen before. I consider myself above average when it comes to weeding out weasels on the net. I have been mislead a few times. One has to do their due diligence when doing business on the internet. I appreciate your effort in making this video.

    MyUS has hidden charges. I spent $290 for a $93 item. Never again! And yes I have to pay the handling fee when it arrived

      They have a page where you put the WEIGHT of the item and they show the price, U NEED TO PAY EXTRA FROM THAT PRICE ?

      @@Rbalaj1 no. It’s the handling fee that I have to pay during delivery. They said it’s for the handling. I was confused when it arrived cos it was not mentioned on MyUs page about this fee

    I agree. They don't tell you "transparently" that when you chose the free option, your incoming parcels are automatically shipped to your default address. You have to read the fine print or really pay attention to notice this. Totally deceitful. Jean-Marie

    Most Airlines doesnt allow liquid even if they allows they would charge extra. But we can bring oil ( liquid things ) cheaper by using cargo planes. I am saying this because I got charged extra 50 dollor for bringing soap and loation lol

    Used them again last month, MyUS had been excellent sending stuff to me past 3 years to South Africa. Just dont be an idiot, remember your country’s import taxes. I totally recommend them, i had a 12kg package sent to South Africa via them using DHL for $150, which is a great price as package took 4 days to get here. Good customer service as well...so yeah, complete opposite experiences for me

      background: my dog was diagnosed with heart failure in April this year and the vet says she only left about a year. She has been eating this US brand of treat since a puppy, which I bought from Singapore (I flew my dog over to the UK 6 years ago). I used to go back Singapore 1-3 times a year, so I can stock up her treat very regularly but due to this pandemic I have not been able to go back for almost two years. Now, her treat is running out and I don't want her to spend the last few months of her life without her favourite treat, so I wanted to give this company a go.
      1. I send the link of the product over to this company and ask if I could ship to UK and they said yes I can ship. (Rmb this point, I will come back later).
      2. I signed up an account with this company then I bought the treat from the US website and shipped it to their address. The estimated shipping cost for my less than 2kg treat is 37.99USD. Then when it arrived at their place, they packed and shipped the parcel out without informing me or giving me an invoice first to ask me to accept the price and pay. They automatically deducted 79USD for my 2kg package. I would still be willing to pay this amount, but without me knowing and agreeing on the amount first and deducted straight from my payment method is wrong and illegal in the UK (I am a training solicitor in the UK so I know the law)
      3. I was angry and contacted customer service. They were not able to remove my payment method from the website. Again, this is illegal in the UK under e-commerce law.
      4. Let's go back to point 1 now. After a few days, they contacted me that the FedEx told them these treats were not able to clear custom and I have a chose to return it back at my expense and they will post back to the seller for another 7USD, or they can destroy the items and I won't be able to get any refund. I contacted them to check if they could ship beforehand, and now, it couldn't pass through the custom then they should accept the responsibility as a shipping company. Yet, they cannot either tell me what reason it was denied or accept the responsibility that they have given me the wrong information that it could be shipped into the UK.
      5. I contacted FedEx, they told me my shipment was delayed NOT DENIED at the custom, as it has to go through the food, health and safety department to see if the ingredients are safe for animal consumption. I checked the department website, it says if it was denied, it will also provide a reason for its denial. So I don't know how and why this company had gotten their false information from. Lucky, I contacted FedEx myself, otherwise, all my money would throw down the water without a chance of getting my items.
      So what is this company going on after all? I don't know, except trying to squeeze all their customers money without accepting its duty of care as a shipping company. Just look at their reviews from Trustpilot, their FB page and UA-cam, you will find tons of reviews like mine, how I wish I could research more about this company before I made my order! Now my sick dog is counting down her time while waiting for her favourite treat to come, this makes me so sad to think about :(

    welp im fucked. can i just let it be there? shipping to my country is over 40 dollar, and counting that and wat the items costs, it will go over a limit in norway so i'll have to pay 25% more in tax for everything. im baffled.

      Yeah if you want to buy in quantums you better be prepared to pay a very steep import cost. I was a premium member for twelve months. I hate to break it to you but 40 usd isn`t all that much sweetheart. If you are a premium member you will be able to "tweak" the values a little bit, but you will not be able to escape the import fees here in Norway. This is not sent through posten, but via either FedEx if your city has a FedEx office or by some guy working for UPS. Both will send you a letter with a nice little bill including a handling fee. You have the option to dispose of your items or 30 days to ship it out. Bjørn i Ålesund :)

      mybluebelly Well first off I didn't know MyUS would be that expensive, nowhere did I read so, and since I shopped through something I thought I could trust which did reccommend that site, I didn't think twice - which I should have of course and that is my fault.
      And second thanks for the tip, yes the "gift" tbh seems very obvious.
      I do take that personally, haven't you seen it used in the setting like "åh men kjære deg, la meg hjelpe deg" (en annen måte å si "siden du ikke klarer dette selv så trenger du hjelp fra noen flinkere"). Jeg har bare virkelig ikke noen gode assosiasjoner med den bruken når det kommer fra folk jeg ikke allerede er god venn med. Men jeg setter stor pris på hjelp, jeg bare misliker måten folk "viser" sin hjelp i slike begrep. :)

      Yes, MyUs.com is very expensive at least from my perspective. I used to buy ALOT of stuff every month. Like 15-20 different shipments and shipped out after the 30 day period. Looking back, the shipping costs i paid was just crazy. Probably between $3-400 every month for a 50-100 lb shipment that many times were filled with way too much "dimensional weight" (just empty space you pay extra $$$ for) if you look around UA-cam on other videos you`ll see what i mean. The only real positive note here was the shipment would arrive on your door within 3-4 days! As i was a premium member, i got a personal service contact that communicated with me whenever i needed it. The main issue i had with them was they would constantly use sharp knives or blades and slice into my shipments rendering many shipments useless. I tried to tell them to stop, but they never listened. Time and again they would treat my stuff poorly and tried to bribe me with a "one time only" $10 reimbursal which didn`t do any good. The way they packed my stuff was not satisfactory. I once had a floor polish bottle crack and leak all over the shipping crate with the sweet smell of apple probably trailing a scent all the way over the Atlantic ocean, lol. After my 12 month subscription had ended they charged my credit card for another $80 even though i had let them know i wanted to terminate my account with them. I had to contact my bank and let them know i had been a victim of an unauthorized transaction to get my money back. Who does that? For months after the fact they would contact me as if i still was a member of MyUs.com and try to play pretend. If for some reason you want to join up with MyUs.com, i recommend buying only what you can not obtain elsewhere and get the inexpensive standard membership ($20?) or you could consider grouping up with a few of your friends and split the shipping/import costs. When we are young, we tend to make some unwise decisions and most people learn from our mistakes. This company is overall good at what they say they do, but i`m sure there are other US shipping forwarders out there doing just as good of a job. Alright, that`s about it. Tja, skjønner nok hvor du vil hen, men du kommer nok ingen vei med meg. Her på nettet må du finne deg i å bli kalt litt av hvert, og "sweetheart" er absolutt ikke det verste du kommer til å få høre. Now go fuck yourself, how`s about that for condescending?! Du får unnskylde mine dårlige manerer, men jeg kommer fra en skillsmissefamilie. Peace !

Ja jeg kan takle det helt fint, slik som du burde klare å takle at folk sier ifra om måten du oppfører deg på. Det eneste jeg gjør, er å informere om at jeg ikke liker noe, og om du fortsetter å behandle en person på en måte de ikke ønsker etter det, så ligger alt på deg.
