- Join me in this in depth story summary of Assassin’s Creed III in following the character of Connor Kenway as he searches for the amulet requested by Juno. This is also the conclusion of Desmond Miles’ story as he and his fellow Assassins William Miles, Rebecca Crane and Shaun Hastings try to power up the grand Temple. This is the longest and most intricate Assassins Creed story yet. There is only one more thing to say… WHERE IS CHARLES LEE?!!

Obviously Desmond uses Connor's moveset because of the fact that it is a videogame with limitations. But in-universe, after going through the bleeding effect and learning to fight first as Altaïr and then as Ezio, the fact that he chose Connor's moves shows that he was the most effective, brutal combatant of them all
tbh i understand games have limitations but i absolutely hated how the abstergo guards fired there pistol it made sence in connors time the black powered muskets/pistols to lift the gun up then lower it down one for showmenship (ie stupid brittish eiilteism ) but i also think it was also done to keep the powder from spilling out. but in desmonds time it just looks stupid and makes them look like they wanna be a fencer but pistol ya know?
@@shadowsheringon It is what it is I guess jajajajaja maybe they could've had the fight sequences in an environment where shooting a lot without aiming would be a bad idea, like a lab or a place with multiple animi. Maybe it would've been best to not have guns at all in present day, but whatever
@@NestorNavai true but the way they aim is just idiotic for the time period in the present just looks off to me i also saves money to just reuse animetions and not just make one to be used in like what two times if i recall? it whould have been a waste of meny and dev time...but then again when you have to go into your windows defender and make it ignore assassins creed three for it to even bloody work. im not going to bring out the cam issues and locking thats probbly due to age of the softwear (i hope) i heard ac oddcy and origens haveing the same issues but i wont know on my end tell i git that far
@@shadowsheringon solution: kill then before they aim at all
Nah I think it’s definitely more to do with the fact that literally Connors moveset couldn’t exist prior to this game lol if it could they would’ve made the first 4 like this one.
The dialogue by charles less "can't wait to join the ORDER" is nice hint to them being templars, not assassins.
Your story recaps are some of the best I’ve ever seen. You tell it like a true story and not just a brief over view. Giving it the time and dedication it needs. Great videos, and I can’t wait to see you cover the rest of the series. Keep it up man!!!
Wow, thank you!
I stumbled across this channel looking for AC lore and I have to say I am never disappointed. Keep it up man!
Welcome aboard! Thanks
@@ThePatientWolf Can you please do it with Black Flag and Rogue ?
Fantastic video. One of my favorite games in the series. A revolutionary game, if I do say so myself. Probably my most played. The dynamic weather was incredible, the improved parkour was incredible, and the story was so captivating and emotional, both Connor's and Desmond's story.
Thanks. Yes a step up fro the franchise
Same I love the fighting mechanics how brutal he was
ac3 is the worse in the series lol

What sucks is that Juno's arch is forgotten and resolved in an effing comic book. She's revived and killed in the same comic issue and is completely forgotten about. All this build up so that most of AC fans don't even know what happened to her. It honestly felt like she disappeared and was just completely forgotten about.
THANK YOU for reiterating the Six (out of seven) Methods of Salvation from this and knowing that it is the methods. Most people think that Juno was recounting the Isu's history, thank you for knowing otherwise.
Hearing you narrate these games is so mesmerizing. Youre a storyteller who truly understands and ponders the inner minds and motivations of the characters and you present those perspectives in such eloquent and heartfelt ways its impossible to imagine how expert writers didnt manage to transmit the same ideas about the story the way you do. Your words truly fix and solve many of the plot points people have struggled with regarding the newer AC games. Amazing channel. Im binge watching your content right now
Truly the best way to learn the story. Your ability to tell the story in such an intriguing and informative way without spoiling it is superb. The emotion you convey is also spectacular. Thanks for your work.
Patient wolf, you HAVE GOT to do a story about the kenways! I know it would be a little backwards (having Edward first) but it would go great I believe.
I think this video (as well as your other story recaps) show off the capacity for retelling stories to be an art itself. Your selective use of relevant clips, change in perspective, addition of a sort of third person internal monologue, all choices which heighten and elevate the story in a way the game does not itself. This video isnt a simple summary or regurgitation of ACIII but instead an adaptation. You really are a fantastic storyteller.
The way you retell the assassin Creed story makes me want to replay these games
This is a masterpiece, Wolf. Wonderful made, as always. Keep it up!
I'm glad more people discovers this channel. You deserve it🐺
Thank you very much!
such a good series. This was the last of the assassin games that i played I felt like the world was saved and that was the end. I must of quickly forgot about Juno now being unleashed on the earth.
I wanted to play ac series from thr start again but i dont have the specs that is required to play from oddysey and beyonds so i was searching recap vids and i found your ac1 vid and man u made me sub tnx to your way of story telling
Thank you so much for your hard work
You feel like an master assasin who tells us the history of all in front of a campfire :)
Thanks Dude!
Really looking forward to this mate, I'm sure it's going to be another banger! 🦅
Thanks Andy!
I just finished this video and I think this was amazing. Patientwolf, you have done it again. I love this video and I'm glad that I now have a better understanding of the assassin's creed series because of your videos. Thank you.
I love your videos, there is no other explaining like you do, either they take much more time with the story within the animus, or only outside of it, you conbining the two together like this, is amazing. Thanks so much for your efforts, just amazing.
Another quality video Wolf, your story telling and attention to detail never ceases to amaze. A must watch for any AC fan in my opinion. Keep up the great work.
I got so engrossed in these amazing series, you sir are an amazing storyteller! Can't wait for the next one!
Been so damn hyped for this one!!! Love what you do dude.
Your channel is amazing! You made want to play every game in the series (I had only finished Origins and Odyssey, and played ACIII a bit when I was little). I'm currently on Syndicate and expecting all your videos on the whole series. Good work!
Edit: Your storytelling is incredible. When Ratonhnhaké:ton receives his new name, Connor, it really impacted me, since we were already used to his old name. I didn't feel that way so much when playing the game, than watching your video.
Amazingly put together, thank you for this. ❤
Absolutely one of the best channels to explain the assassin's Creed series and this video kind of stuck with me since this was the game that's got me into the assassin's Creed series.
Amazing!! Thank you so much for making this series, im excited to see the rest!
Wow man this is awsome.
Just yesturday i finished watching your ezio trilogy story and today we have this. Keep up the good work.🔥🔥
Amazing work! I’ve actually started playing every AC game last year and have been watching all your videos. I’ve just finished AC4 and just started AC Rogue. Can’t wait to see your next videos, keep it up!
You bring so much clarity to the series I was literally juss an instrument of war and over looked major points.. I can admit that
This deserves so many more views! The quality of this is incredible! The narration and the information and flow are amazing! Well done! 🎉😊
Hey Wolf! Finally was able to watch your story video, excellently made! I hope my long explanation at the ending did help if ever so slightly. Either way you are a masterful storyteller in explaining the lore behind Assassin's creed!
I can't wait to watch this video. Your content is very well done and produced, you really put a great effort on it. Thank you so much for sharing with us the best video game's lore youtube channel. I wish I could watch the video right now but I will be patient, Patient Wolf.
i been binging these recap videos and immediately subbed
oh my god that was the greatest recap by far! please continue to do this.
This is the best story recap series I have ever seen! I can't wait to see the AC IV story.
I miss being a kid playing this game
Well explained bro 👌🏻
I have also watched all the previous AC stories in your channel after finishing playing them, and you just keep making the series looks more beautiful and more epic! AC franchise is legendary, deep and so special.
Keep it up man 👌🏻💙
You don't miss man, cannot wait to see this series through, your doing the work of the gods ❤️

You’ve definitely gained a new follower, Assassin Creed has long time been one of my favorite game series. I’ve played them all and reliving those first impressions through your amazing breakdowns has been so worthwhile. I’m definitely looking forward to future installments to this Saga. Well done my friend…WELL DONE !!!
Wow. Thanks!
Hey same, I have played every one of them and I have a deep love for this series. ThePatientWolf really has a way of capturing that love.
these videos are beautifully well done. thank you.
Thanks for another great video! I love these :)
I just watched ac rev and this and i wanted to say that youre the most incredible story teller for a game.
I hope you see this and get a little bit of motivation. You deserve faar more attention. I hope you release every ac game story.
found your channel today. absolutely amazing, keep up this great work. 91,5k subscribers, its a joke. you deserve many more!
Awesome comment. Thanks 🙏
No need to change anything bro, this is perfect especially for those who don't have time to play through the whole game series 💯
My favourite AC game ever, as much as I love Ezio this one will always have a special place in my heart
So Desmond becomes Jesus 2.0 in the alternative timeline
It may not have the grandeur or intrigue of previous games, but not enough can be said of the quality, detail, and innovation of Assassin's Creed 3. Ubisoft gave this game their absolute best effort, and that seriously matters.
It's just amazing! I can't wait for the next part! Do you know if it's coming soon?
Any word on more videos like this? Needed a recap before I jumped back into the series with Rogue, and a Black Flag recap is exactly what I need!
Working on BF
Hey man, I really like this series. Hoping your intending to continue it.
Amazing work, Wolf
Your video quality is so good, there is so much effort put into telling this story. very much looking forward to black flag next!
Love your videos!! They are so good, and very detailed. Keep up the good work mate!! 🥰😁
Wow Thank you!
Finally the first person to explain to ending very well done really appreciate your work
Keep on the good work sir
i can't believe it, this video has already out for 3 weeks and only got 22k views??? that's really absurd numbers!! I expect a video of this quality would get at least, 500k views, at least. These AC series recaps are better than any netflix series, seriously! i wish this doesn't waver you from finishing the series, because i think when the new AC games are out, these vids will blow out. just like ezio and connor, your work is to convey the message of the old for the future! Can't wait to see how you recap AC blackflag which is a favorite of mine, and, thank you, i really enjoyed it!

Thank you I took a 4 year break with 8 hours played and didn’t want to restart. Excellent recap bless u

This video was over 1 hour long?!!! I didn't even realize it while watching live. Beautifully put together! ❤
Thank you so much!!
this game got a lotta hate when it came out but it was always one of my favs
Just finished AC3, but because the lack of time it took me months. Tomorrow I start AC4, and I’m happy that I found your channel and I was able to do a recap from the beginning until this point! I hope you finish AC4 story before I do 😅. Suggestion: at the end of a saga like Ezio or Kenway, you could do a quick 10 minute recap with the highlights!
Much love bro
Looking forward to this one!
I hope the algorithm can flow in your way soon so this video can get the recognition it deserves, cheers, great video
Only 8 minutes in & I have to marathon all of these now
Pace yourself 😂
@@ThePatientWolf Ill use it as background noise for content creation 😂👌🏽
Started watching these recaps because i really wanted to play orgins and the ones after but i found that the ac games are very heavily story oriented and I've never been one to play games or watch movies out of order and I started with full walkthroughs on the first and second game and decided I wouldn't have enough time to finish them all in a timely manner so I found your recap looking for brotherhood then revelations recaps and as many others have said you tell these stories so wonderfully and as if they really happened its truly awe inspiring and I admire every aspect of your videos immensely and even when I get to play the later games I will for sure come back to watch your recaps solely to hear the way you tell it you deserve much more love than you do for these videos keep up the wonderful work
Edit: I've just finished the whole video and I cannot describe the bone chilling experience it was to watch this I've played only this game years ago when I was very young and didn't play the others or understand anything that went on in it but now that I understand it all it shakes me to my core I truly don't feel that any of the other ac games will top this one such a chilling experience just to watch a recap of it I couldn't imagine playing through it again or even living through this experience almost cried when his mom died as well as when he had to kill his father I am at the same time speechless and filled with questions as well as I would have felt completely content with this being the last game of the series but I am very excited to see what the next 7 hold
Amazing narrative. I love your style of narrating games , I'm looking forward for more videos like this in other franchises 💓
Thanks very cool can't wait for more 👍
I came to this video wanting to know the main timeline for the game. Wanted to know why Connor was still treated like a child despite being close/over 30 and achieving so much for the Patriots by the end of the game. But most importantly, wanted to know why Connor killed Lee the way he did. The drink they shared to the forehead touch followed a moment of silence and then the blade. That's not how anyone kills someone they disliked or despised. I'd reckon that's how one would kill a friend/ally even. I couldn't find the answer to either in this video but I did findout the emotions running within Connor and Haythem. Truth be told a lot of people dislike Connor(probably because most don't play much outside the main storyline and the naval mission) but personally I really liked his story.
Finally it’s here!
Ac3 is my favorite game of all time. Great video.
I love the long format ❤️ maybe we could get a video series on Returnal if you've played it and have some thoughts? I think it would fit very well with your delivery style 🙂
Fantastic series, I enjoy this very much.
Glad to make them
Thank you so much mate. this means a lot to a fan like me.
I, an ally thank you for taking the time to put together all this info. People will realize that all this, is more than a game, more than a movie and more than a story. For the future!
Can't wait!
Third time watching this and enjoying it as much as the first 🤘
This was great, because at certain point the ac stories get muffled for me. Especially in 4 when they break away from the Desmond story stuff. Great walk through of the story here! I enjoyed it a lot
Glad you enjoyed it!
I chuckled when Ziio's name subtitle got jumbled up when Haytham couldn't pronounce it.
Thanks a lot!
Cannot wait
Top tier UA-cam content
Got depressed with the broken trust horse chase. Your video was the only hope. I gave up on AC3 on that mission but wanted to know the full the story. Nicely explained thanks.
No problem!
Why couldn't Desmond's father activate the orb. He's older, and has the same Precursor DNA. Why didn't he feel like sacrificing his life? I remember hating this ending when I played it - all that character building for Desmond only to have him die like that. And none of the later Assassin's Creed games had any significant real-life plotlines to hold my interest
ubisoft kill him, he was going to be the ultimate assassin to defeat the Templars for good but if the series ends, so would the money.
I suppose Valhalla answers the question of how Connor's ancestors got a piece of eden
I can tell this is going to be good
(Note I missed the video whoops)
