Who would have thought that The Story of Assassin's Creed Liberation could be such a mind-bending and thought-provoking journey? Step into Aveline de Grandpré's shoes and brace yourself for a wild ride through a divided society, where freedom, identity, and justice clash in the most epic way. This game goes beyond entertainment-it forces us to question our own beliefs, biases, and the world we live in. It's like a rabbit hole of introspection, where you can't help but ponder the complexities of power, privilege, and the fight for a better tomorrow. Get ready to have your mind blown and your worldview expanded. The Story of Assassin's Creed Liberation is not just a game-it's an eye-opening experience that will make you see the world in a whole new light. Buckle up, my friends!
Here he is.... The ultimate story teller.. we play games as an escape but this individual brings the game to life... Mr wolf.... I concur you should focus on story telling and leave walkthroughs to someone else. Very well done as always
I only just realised the connection between even the names of Eve and Aveline. Sad that Liberation and AC3 often get looked over. There's so many great messages, themes and material. Great job on the video as always. Wish I had discovered the channel sooner
Maybe the best video I've seen of yours yet, such tight writing, transitions, and video clips. Bravo! This one is particularly lovely to me as I loved the game/protagonist and knew there was an interesting story there but the game obfuscated so much important information I found it too disjointed to track well during my playthrough. Truly so grateful for your wonderful summary of this game as I love the AC stories. I can't wait for you to play AC Rogue, to me it felt like a farewell love letter to the AC3, Liberation, AC4, and Freedom Cry arc and I find it quite underrated.
The worst thing about liberation was that stupid light mini game were it made you hold the PS Vita up to a light to reveal a map or something. I absolutely loved the game and have a special place for it in my heart because it was the first AC game that I really played by my self without my older brother but boy did that mini game make me want to turn the game of when I was playing in the dark lol
I am such a fan of your ac videos but I want to thank you for making this video especially. I love this franchise but I just couldn't stand playing this game and it's still the only one I haven't beaten but Ive always wanted to know the story and now I do because of this video. It was perfect for me. Thank you 😁
I know you have a lot of stuff coming up with Spider Man and Black Flag: but might I ask you to one day look at Ubisofts sister world to Assassin's Creed Watch_Dogs? Love the vids, just subscribed, please keep up the good work!
Just finished Desmond Miles story. It encompasses the entirety of AC leading up to 4. Looking forward to 4 but hard know anything regarding this one. Time to watch!
Theory: what if, in canon, there was a player of Liberation that heard the true side of the story and wanted to join the Assassins, but also had a job at Abstergo as part of, say, a thing he or she wanted to do after college, and it just so happened that their college offered an Abstergo scholarship. They were curious about the Assassins, but they didn't have time to research further due to their tight schedule, which is why in Rogue when Abstergo loses the power, they don't panic, and why they're an Initiate by Unity?
I've just beaten the game, and I enjoyed it a lot, the story isn't as grandiose as AC3, it's much closer and more personal to Aveline, but it's a great story, and watching this video makes me want to play it again
Eve was indirectly referenced in Odyssey Atlantis dlc suggesting that her rebellion cause Juno to create monsters like the Minotaur. We were also introduced to the idea of the “tainted ones” as well which sound like the order of ancients were following first civilization scripts about the danger of hybrids. So Eve is still about, but the full details of the human-Isu isn’t revealed yet.
one day on a whim, I got back into gaming with AC (last I played was the 2012 stiryline with ACIII) because there was a huge Ubisoft sale.. Loved Origins (complete ) so much, that I went in to buy Odyssey Gold Edition, was slightly disappointed but the gameplay was lovely . Left after the main gameplay and the legacy if the first bkade because the mythological oart in Odyssey seemed too confusing. Then purchased Unity . Skull and Bones came out which got everyone talkig about Black Flag, so bought Bkack Flag and started on it. Also bought and then finished Rogue , because the world and gamplay was similar to Black Flag though simpler to play. Mirage is purchased but will start later. Currently Black Flag is in progress . Came here to learn about Liberation, since it was included as part of AC III Remastered (which came free with Origins). The controls in Liberation aren't as polished I suppose, being a port and re render of a primarily non PC game... yet I came here after a few missions to learn what Liberation is about overall, be ause the controls are still a bit unresponsive, though I like the mechanisms of focus on stealth and the disguise changes
A very underrated assassins creed game. Though I’m more looking forward to my favorite, game play wise, assassins creed that is super underrated, Rouge.
Just finished it for my first time after skipping it and finishing everything else in the series and I love it. It’s even better than odyssey and prob valhalla too
As a film maker, do you make movies in the states? I ask only because I am a member of SAG-AFTRA and performing artist for over 14 years and was wondering if you had any projects you were working on that had roles needing to be filled. PM me if interested.
I'll be honest, I recently played through this for the first time as I'm getting ready for assassin's creed mirage, I've been replaying all the assassin's creed. I still don't fully understand this story. Watching this has been extremely helpful
lovely game it had also a really good system the persona system i like it alot but what i hate about this game is the pacing its bad thing happens tooo fast without build up and leave u like "the fuk just happend" but most importantly there is some inconsistency with how the assassins were tracking the company man in iza de ferrer said " the company man will not be pleased " then after couple of fline he said something along the line of " dont worry vazques will be in new orleans soon and everything will be in place " ( not exactly like that i think but close )... so with these 2 lines u can see that the company man and vazques are 2 different entity but for some reason the assassins thought the vazques was the company man lmao
I really love how Liberation and AC3 play with expectations and writing norms. You're like "oh the Assassins are pro-America so they're gonna whitewash history" and then... they don't. It instead serves to taint the Assassins instead. America's chattel slavery and treatment of the Native peoples is perhaps the best argument for the Templar's views. This is humanity. Slavers, rapists, murderers, liars, and thieves. The Assassins fight for the freedom of all, but a large portion of humanity just uses their freedom to oppress others, their freedom a danger to the freedom of others. The Templars of this era are some of the most morally upstanding of the lot, and the Assassins are at their most corrupted. Did Conner cause the next two centuries of genocide against his people? Quite possibly. Maybe if the Templars won here, they'd never have become what they are in the modern era. Maybe the Assassins damned humanity by birthing this nation.

Technically Liberation is a part of AC3

True, this is why Liberations is the best AC, even Ubisoft game, and one of the best games ever

So glad you made a video outlining this forgotten gem
This game deserved better
This game deserves a remake. Much more than Black Flag.

Excellent video wolf I really enjoyed it and I'm hoping to get the good ending in my playthough
Wow this is the first time hearing bout the liberation story and omg what a story and what an amazing summary!
This is for real a beautiful story!
My favourite thing about this game was working with Connor
The worst thing about liberation was that stupid light mini game were it made you hold the PS Vita up to a light to reveal a map or something. Synchronisation on 20:55 "Hmm yes, plank"😂 In all seriousness, love the videos and I am excited for Black Flag
Your the most underrated assassin's creed UA-cam channel
You have no idea how fast I clicked when I saw you posted
Love your vids man dropped out of the games around here so very excited to actually here what happened
I've just beaten the game, and I enjoyed it a lot, the story isn't as grandiose as AC3, it's much closer and more personal to Aveline, but it's a great story, and watching this video makes me want to play it again
Are you also gonna do freedom cry and rouge?
Another masterpiece, well done. Shame Ubisoft abandoned the Eve stuff. This is a game that I'd love for them to do a ground up remake.

Very nice explaination ❤
Is what Abstergo doing wrong and destructive? Yes. Would I buy an Animus console so that I can be a part of history? Also yes.
I never played this one, but damn. Cool story.
It was originally a ps Vita title but the remastered it and released it on PS3 and Xbox 360.
Everyone who doesn't know knows them as Abstergo industries/entertainment. The assassins know them as templars. But fans know them as UBISOFT

Maybe this game is bad but still it's good, and badass game.
Reaalllllly enjoy the tone of the final few minutes
Just after I binged all your recent videos lmao
Imagine if ubisoft is a fromt from the templars IRL making a game about them
A very underrated assassins creed game. Though I’m more looking forward to my favorite, game play wise, assassins creed that is super underrated, Rouge.
Haven’t played this title, but the story sounds interesting
The unique gameplay system of the 3 outfits makes it kind of cool, they tried something different for sure!
Can't wait for blackflag hope you do Rouge to
*Assassin's Creed* is a sick series
‘Sick’ indeed..
I know you're planning to do black flag but will you also do Freedom Cry? The dlc
Gd I love this anime shyt OMFG! Also YAS QUEN! at 2:55 OMFG!!!!>>>>>
This is a good game, i enjoyed playing it, I love the story. Would recommend.
Totally agree! The soundtrack is pretty unique compared to the other games as well.
I have an guestion coud you play shadow of Mordor and shadow of war and All of these games DLC
Just finished it for my first time after skipping it and finishing everything else in the series and I love it. It’s even better than odyssey and prob valhalla too

Ngl I didn’t have a problem with liberation it was a good game
Most people who actually play it agree it is good!
Yo my guy its OR LANDS
I do not see the connection how she came in assassin the man in the swamp who traine him
Was her mother a Templar or an assassin I'm still puzzled
She was caught in he middle of their struggle. The Assassin tactics scared her, and she fled!
This is good bc I can’t play the game yet
lovely game it had also a really good system the persona system i like it alot
but what i hate about this game is the pacing its bad thing happens tooo fast without build up and leave u like "the fuk just happend"
but most importantly there is some inconsistency with how the assassins were tracking the company man
in iza de ferrer said " the company man will not be pleased " then after couple of fline he said something along the line of " dont worry vazques will be in new orleans soon and everything will be in place " ( not exactly like that i think but close )... so with these 2 lines u can see that the company man and vazques are 2 different entity but for some reason the assassins thought the vazques was the company man lmao
