At first I thought Ezio was murdered, but then I realized he was an old Italian man who just heard a young man talk shit about his home town and women, he definitely had a heart attack.
With the Rogue innacuracies. Describing the precursor tech causing the earth quake as scientifically impossible is kind of redundant. Precursor tech is all scientifically impossible. it's legit just magic with a vague scientific explanation, always has been. The idea that AC series only now has magic is just dead wrong. Also, historical events are very often inaccurately attributed to AC characters or other things specific to AC lore. One of the things that makes the series so fun.
i was thinking the same thing when he brought it up. it gets even weirder in the comics like conspiracy where they say ww2 started due to templars making each side want the way, even giving hitler an apple of eden. he even talks about it in other videos in a favourable light, praising assassins creed for taking historical events and bending them to fit with assassins creed lore
Amazed you missed it!, but Reda is also in the AC Valhalla DLC, Dawn of Ragnarok. He can be found at the first of the hideouts in Svartelhiem. The conversation between Havi and Reda is quite friendly and familiar and implies Reda has been around a long long time, and is known for collecting artifacts.
Reda is in the DLC!? Thats so exciting, i can’t wait to find him and talk to him. I love when they bring old characters back in the new games, feels like they’re adding something for the long time players. And Reda is definitely one of the most memorable characters from Origins, i bet he’s still collecting artifacts. I wonder what hes been up to all this time
One theory I've heard somewhere is that Reda is actually someone from the Templar order. He was implanted in the animus to track Layla (and now Shawn and gang) and that's why he sells stuff you would otherwise need to pay for
. Interesting. I had a feeling that he was something to do with the Animus,. I mean he's just there, am apparently immoral, selling RL stuff, and nobody ever question it? I was surprised he wasn't reprised for Basims story, and it will be interesting to see if he shows up in AC Red.
what I found isntresting is that Reda's merchant guild has a similar name to the rival theives guild in Brotherhood. Reda's guild is called the Thousand Eyes, the rival theives are called the Cento Occhi (Hundred Eyes). Is there a corilation? Maybe...
From my understanding from Assassin's Creed wiki, the Reborn Isu (Odin, Loki, etc.) were only designed to come back as Humans just once and specifically chose the year 873 for that reason because their weren't like Aita's sages which appeared throughout history. One of the questions I had always asked is why we never saw Isu remains in Isu vaults or locations
the isu saw the future…naturally with machines capable of cloning and the animus it would only be a matter of time before Abstergo abused their remains to create more advanced weapons…most likely those that remained had their bodies destroyed entirely upon death to ensure that such a fate wouldn’t befall their successors.
That’s so funny I was just playing the third game and there was a cutscene that looked exactly like watch dogs and I was so confused and thought the game some how changed or glitched out, I didn’t even understand what the scene was about it just looked like the main guy with his phone hacking stuff then cut to Desmond was so weird
Great video! However, I think you missed one crucial aspect of the "Watchdogs" part which I was hoping you would talk about. It's that you can play as an actual Assassin with a hidden blade in one of the side missions in Watch Dogs Legion
I have a theory about Rogue. Abstergo Entertainment said that Liberation was their first foray into that type of media. I say Rogue was their very first attempt, hence why it paints Templars in a far more positive light than they should and the twisting of historical facts to suit their purposes.
I like to think that the Homestead's disappearance has something to do with Shay. If he actually came back to America to deal with Connor he would know exactly where the colonial assassins operate, and since Connor probably knew about Shay(from Achiles) he probably could destroy the homestead and its secrets before Shay tried to attack them a game involving Connor, Shay and Arno at the same time would be cool asf btw
To Amunet's Tombs: 1. Ubisoft definitely didn't have anything origins related in mind. 2. It wasn't unheard of remains being split into more graves at different locations during ancient and medieval times. E.g. Richard I.
god the Connor speech made me tear up, bro went through it, the natives really were betrayed over and over and over in America, i cant imagine how they mustve felt those who fought for revolution after they were pushed further and further into isolation and their land takeb
i mean Bayek could be Desmond's ancestor. Layla wouldn't have been able to go to Bill or Desmond's mom for a DNA sample and whatever DNA from Desmond is more than likely held by Abstergo so she wouldn't be able to get that. she more than likely never knew about Elijah either which means getting DNA from Bayek's mummy.
Considering the possibility that all the assassin's tombs in ac2 are related to Ezio (unconfirmed though we know that they at least open Altair's armor and that Altair is related), that would mean that Amunet is definitely related to Desmond and if Amunet/Aya never hooked up with another guy then that would confirm Bayek's relation to Desmond. Unfortunately I don't think this theory holds much weight as we know Bayek's story to be about revenge for his son, and (unless I'm wrong) we don't see him have another kid.

About The Jackdaw being sunk, even though it was a legendary ship in its own right it was Kenway's captaining that gave the ship legendary status, Kenway was considered the greatest pirate, and possibly the best captain in general of his time. So even though the Jackdaw was a very capable ship, without an equally great captain it doesn't matter, it would be out maneuvered and destroyed. yess the creepy stuff especially to do with the Isu (and especially when it was still a bit unexplained) was always my favourite, and the da vinci code vibes from ac1 & 2. it still baffles me how they decided to make the whole “Juno looking for a body and living in technology” side plot just a comic book thing when it was such a good creepy main antagonist plot point during ac3/4

They should have just stuck with the concept of desmond becoming the ultimate assassin by taking abilities from each assassin and also getting the pieces of Eden ubisoft kinds dropped the bag with that

lol, how did people forget that AC is all about diving into a virtual world based on memories So Reda is most likely just a part of the System running the simulation, thus having access to all the things he has.
There's litteraly an assassin's creed mission with a literal member of the creed in watchdogs legion where they try to find something/someplace related to the frye twins
Fantastic video. I greatly enjoyed it. I also found out that i am kind of a AC nerd now since i knew most of the things mentioned... however if i can add... what about the theory of desmond having his subconsciousness trapped or hidden in the animus or the AC 3 invincibility glitch.
I view the canon with Assassins Creed and Watch Dogs like the Canon of Alien and Predator. The Alien franchise does not include Predator canon but the Predator franchise does include Alien as canon and AVP as canon. Imo
Small issue - In watchdogs legion, specifically season pass, you can play a tie in mission with AC syndicate, playing as a woman (forgot name) who is a descendant of jacob and evie frye. You go through some isu tech, but it’s clear that they take place in the same universe, despite what ubisoft says.
What an excellent video! I think you devote exactly enough time and attention to each point, and I agree with several of the other commenters here that this video deserves a lot of recognition! Well done!
One thing I've wanted to know is abstergos involvement in the rook islands since farcry is just a videogame in ac. Maybe making light of their actions through videogames so the public wouldn't be so disturbed by actual decisions taken by them
Um when he mentioned the lost colony shortly and says "it's rumor they merged with the natives" kinda picked at my mind Because recently historians verified that they did merge with natives , if you wanna learn more Google "dare stones" , have a great one and love your video bro great job
In the Nolan North Q&A video the bit you couldn't make out was him saying he may be speaking "out of school" which is, I think, a mostly American way of saying "gossiping without any real basis for knowing if what you heard was accurate or if you were ever intended to repeat it".
I thought Reda was the Reader. As in one manifestation of Desmonds conciousness spread across every timeline. Thus the thousand eyes are all actually Reda, the reader.
Wow, what an interesting list you put together, it was a lot of fun watching this. There's many stuff here I never knew about even having played the games, like the dead assassin in the Witcher, and that mind-blowing Final Fantasy Easter Egg, and the giant squid in that assassin tomb (that looks to be the one with the timer and the advanced vault jump, yes? now I want to go back there and see that squid lol). And I really like the idea Al Mualim was a Sage, he could handle pieces of Eden like it was nothing, and despite his betrayal he was a very wise and likeable mentor. There are so many Watch Dogs Easter Eggs worth mentioning it's odd that Ubisoft minimises a connection they took such lengths to establish in detail: In the computer files in Black Flag there is a note John Standish sent to Olivier Garneau bringing to his attention a "renowned North American security firm" he though Abstergo should work with. This company is Blume and apparently Blume representatives visited Abstergo to offer the use of the ctOS. Olivier Garneaut then travelled to Chicago presumably to sign the partnership. What's cool about this is that despite his personal agenda John Standish was a skilled hacker so it's very likely he was a member of Dedsec working with the Brotherhood. Also, given that the note contains a photo of the inside of The Bunker it suggests John may have been an engineer at Blume because by the time of that note The Bunker had long been abandoned and sealed off... John having worked for Blume makes sense because to become the head of IT and security at Abstergo he must have had an impressive CV. Anyway he is another liason between Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed as it was his job to lure Olivier Garneau to Chicago where the Brotherhood had hired Aiden to take him out. It's also funny that Aiden Pearce found former Abstergo employees in Chicago because at the Abstergo office in Black Flag there are two employees chatting near the entrance and the American girl says that she is unhappy at Abstergo so when her visa runs out she will move to Chicago to join her friends who work at Blume. ... Btw in Issue 4 of Assassin's Creed Reflections it is confirmed Abstergo lied about Connor's death. Before Otso Berg uses the Animus to experience Connor's memories he says "Abstergo's spin doctors have made great efforts to convince the public he suffered a pathetic, lonely end. Nothing could be further from the truth." It's also interesting to note that, as a high ranking Templar and a member of the Inner Sanctum Otso Berg has access to historical truth, but other fairly important Templars like Melanie Lemay are told the same lies Abstergo tells the public... In AC Rogue she says in an email "George Washington, we can franchise. I don't know that we'd get more than one feature out of Connor. Plus, don't get me started on his wife or the way he died. What a mess." In Rogue it's strongly implied that the big shot Templars of Abstergo Industries don't take the Abstergo Entertainment branch very seriously xD
Amazing video, some stuff I already and stuff I just learned. Very great work. Also about Conner's death apparently his daughter is the one who wrote down the story about him and was turned into a comic
I'm adding a comment to boost the engagement and the algorithm for this awesome video ! I loved the deep Assassin's Creed analysis in this video. Thank you!
It's honestly very weird how you're singling out Rogue for historical inaccuracies when basically all of the games are historical fiction that are extremely loosely based on real history. Somehow an Irishman facing no discrimination in the US is too unrealistic, but a female mercenary in ancient Greece makes sense? Somehow an Isu temple causing an earthquake is farfetched, but Isu artifacts controlling people or turning them into monsters is fine?
There's a difference between straight up fantastical elements like a demi god in greece and an irish man in america. Come on now. That's a ridiculous thing to say.
There is also references to the books written by Oliver Bowden in the modern day parts of black flag, if you look at some of the clusters of books there is the novel for assassin's creed forsaken, which is the book for assassin's creed 3 making the novels canon to the story. Also in regards to WD and AC being connected, look at emails in AC4, rogue, and watchdogs games, there is references to blume being the company responsible for Abstergos security
I'm so confused as to why Ubisoft would fire the man not only responsible for establishing the roots of Assassin's creed, but also making 2 of the best games in the series. That too without any reason and so abruptly. Patrice Desilets clearly felt betrayed and is embittered to this day about how things turned out. I'm afraid with how little known this fact is, that we'll ever get a straight answer to this.
Good one, mate! I have been watching your content for quite some time, but this video has won you my subscribe! I would have appreciated a lot if the iceberg would have contained a section about Vlad the Impaler from AC Revelations, but maybe I will see it in part two. Have a good one and keep up the work!
I think the real mystery is why Ubisoft felt the need to condense probably one of the most important storylines of Altair's life into a handheld game that they'll never port, remake, or remaster ever.
Amazing video! Very enjoyable to watch! Oh, and one thing, I hate what Ubisoft did to Patrice Desilets. He is literally the father of Ubisoft's greatest IP
Fantastic video as usual 🤌 I can say that you put a lot of effort into doing something like this (I would never be able to do It) and I can't help but respect you✌️ You introduced me to things I wasn't aware of and somehow made me fall in love with this series even more!! So thank you so much, I'm really looking forward to your next video
I just accidentally came across this video. The quality of it, and amount of little facts with the lore and such is remarkable. I hope this video blows up for you man. Very well done. #newsub
When my friends say you’re so lucky to get the car in GTAV from the casino wheel I say to them “I make my own luck” and they don’t know what I mean because they have not played the amazing game known as assassin’s Creed Rogue.
I’d like to think that there was some Isu merchant (Reda) who just bought his way into one of the Isu survival methods, and now we just little merchant sage Reda, never aging yet always hustling…. Like, did the Isu even have currency? And maybe he does age and just gets reborn, did John Standish from AC4 age? Why is Isu lore so confusing?
The tombs were kinda moved. AsII directly says that artifacts were moved to Italy upon the rise of the Italian chapter when Ezios Great Great grandfather came to the region

I love that you said "please consider subsribing if you want" not BEGGING for it or guilt tripping like other youtubers :)) earned my sub good man. 🙏🏼 keep up the great work
Thanks for subbing!
I think ubisoft can bring back the spaceship plot as the Noah's Ark.
the MOST underrated channel on youtube, been subbed for 2 months and don't regret a bit, KEEP IT GOING MAN YOU GONNA BLOW UP ONE DAY
Appreciate that a lot
Imagine a game where Desmond accumulates the skills of the assassins and become the ultimate assassin. Whoaaa. What a waste of beautiful plot.
Now this is an iceberg I can get behind. An Assassin's Creed iceberg that's hosted by a credible and prominent AC content creator.
lol, how did people forget that AC is all about diving into a virtual world based on memories
So Reda is most likely just a part of the System running the simulation, thus having access to all the things he has.
Reda is an isu. He and Oden recognize each other in Dawn of Ragnarok. Reda said Loki showed him away to survive the total catastrophe.
now this is the best video you've made so far in ac lore
There's litteraly an assassin's creed mission with a literal member of the creed in watchdogs legion where they try to find something/someplace related to the frye twins
There is an official assassin in Watch dogs Legion’s dlc
They might want it to be a surprise when they have full game watch dogs and ac crossover I'm holding out hope
Amazing content. Probably one of the best AC vídeos on YT! Part 2 has to be coming soon!
Definitely in the future.
Ooooooh my god thank you! ❤ The perfect way to start into the weekend!
Oh, I still love that cut-speech from Connor, I can't comprehend why Ubisoft cut it.
What an excellent video! I think you devote exactly enough time and attention to each point, and I agree with several of the other commenters here that this video deserves a lot of recognition! Well done!
Wow, thank you!
One thing I've wanted to know is abstergos involvement in the rook islands since farcry is just a videogame in ac. Maybe making light of their actions through videogames so the public wouldn't be so disturbed by actual decisions taken by them
I searched for good ac iceberg Videos in the last Weeks. Thank you bro!
Um when he mentioned the lost colony shortly and says "it's rumor they merged with the natives" kinda picked at my mind Because recently historians verified that they did merge with natives , if you wanna learn more Google "dare stones" , have a great one and love your video bro great job
53:35 Nolan basically describing how I felt the assassin's creed series went after black flag
Reda 100% is an isu. He shows up in Dawn of ragnarok.
Also the reason eivor is buried in vinland is explained in "the last chapter" update dlc thing
Nice video brother!! Keep up the good work! Much love and appreciation from 🇧🇩
Thank you! Will do!
In the Nolan North Q&A video the bit you couldn't make out was him saying he may be speaking "out of school" which is, I think, a mostly American way of saying "gossiping without any real basis for knowing if what you heard was accurate or if you were ever intended to repeat it".
Very well done iceberg video 🔥🔥 made me want to play the first games again
Still wild they took out Connor's monologue. It would've rounded his character very well
I thought Reda was the Reader.
There are so many Watch Dogs Easter Eggs worth mentioning it's odd that Ubisoft minimises a connection they took such lengths to establish in detail:
In the computer files in Black Flag there is a note John Standish sent to Olivier Garneau bringing to his attention a "renowned North American security firm" he though Abstergo should work with.
It’s crazy how many secrets there are in the kenway saga
This video made me turn into a iceberg
Conner's cut Speech
Me: The words ("I'm never gonna be like you mom and dad!") of every rebelious angsty teen ever, put in a poetic way XD LMAO
Underrated UA-camr also 10/10 pfp
There is also references to the books written by Oliver Bowden in the modern day parts of black flag, if you look at some of the clusters of books there is the novel for assassin's creed forsaken, which is the book for assassin's creed 3 making the novels canon to the story.
Also in regards to WD and AC being connected, look at emails in AC4, rogue, and watchdogs games, there is references to blume being the company responsible for Abstergos security
Ac III is still my favorite, I know why people don't like it but I don't care
Incredible video dude, hope this one makes you blow up on UA-cam. Appreciate the effort!😊.
Thanks a ton!
Thank you, definitely for part 2
Let's go Iceberg!
Thanks for the video man, you deserve a lot more views for the work you've done
I think the real mystery is why Ubisoft felt the need to condense probably one of the most important storylines of Altair's life into a handheld game that they'll never port, remake, or remaster ever.
Amazing video! Very enjoyable to watch! Oh, and one thing, I hate what Ubisoft did to Patrice Desilets. He is literally the father of Ubisoft's greatest IP
Man i miss being super into this series 9-10 years ago
Fantastic video as usual 🤌
I can say that you put a lot of effort into doing something like this (I would never be able to do It) and I can't help but respect you✌️
You introduced me to things I wasn't aware of and somehow made me fall in love with this series even more!!
So thank you so much, I'm really looking forward to your next video
09 here, my 360 stands on my shelf to display it and I look at it everyday to remind myself of those beautiful memories
I just accidentally came across this video. The quality of it, and amount of little facts with the lore and such is remarkable. I hope this video blows up for you man. Very well done. #newsub
Glad you enjoyed it!
When my friends say you’re so lucky to get the car in GTAV from the casino wheel I say to them “I make my own luck” and they don’t know what I mean because they have not played the amazing game known as assassin’s Creed Rogue.
Only 6 minutes in and I’m seeing all this cut content I had no clue about love it
“We removed the crossbow due to historical inaccuracy” will go down as one of the most clown things ever said😂💯
AC: Crossbow is inaccurate during the era so we removed it.
Also AC: Anyways here's some magic.
At least this guy gets his sponsor done beforehand, I’ll check it out, sounds awesome!
This guys videos are so Passionately done and high quality. You deserve more subscribers
Been a fan of AC since the first one. Going into this wondering how much I still know as life got busy after Syndicate.
