Yeah, and the problem is WAY overblown. This is not a mandatory recall, it’s a voluntary one based on the requirements by the CEC. Just like any self balancing vehicle, they cannot escape the laws of physics. They rely on speeding up when you lean forward in order to pull itself back under you, but there is a max speed and max torque it can handle, push past that and of course it can’t keep up. @@JesseDriftwood I don’t have some sort of vendetta against one wheel boards, and yes people die doing all sorts of things. The difference lies in whether you die due to something out of your own control, if I ride my e-bike into an intersection because I’m careless that’s on me. However if my e-bike has an issue with the breaking system not working properly from the factory and I die because of it then it’s worth noting to future owners of that specific e-bike. I don't have a Onewheel yet but I'm very interested in purchasing one... I have 2 options now: purchase an XR used already (2.500km) at 900€ + some extra accessories... OR purchase a new PintX for 1.400€. I generally prefer way more to take something brand new instead of a used one, but in this case I really don't know if it's worth to pay more or spend less just to understand what I would do in the future... Please any comment/suggest is welcome!!!
My suggestion would be to either buy the new Pint S, or buy a used Pint X and then add the wider footpads and new tire yourself. A stock Pint X doesn’t ride nearly as well as with the upgrades (which is essentially all the Pint S is). You can also find good deals on used XRs as well, but it can be hard knowing its condition or how the previous owner treated it before you.

Great video man. Thank you. I’m actually waiting on my pint x now. I can’t wait. Just scared of falling down. Im 45 year old and im not trying to break something. What do you think? That intro sequence!! 🙌🙌
How tall are you and Dave and shoe sizes. Dave said he was more comfortable on the XR by 25% yet bought the Pint but never explained why.
Great video! Love the scenery kinda looks like my neighborhood lol. Did you film this in Hamilton ????
Yeah dude 🤙
👏🏻I was waiting for you to drop a video on the pint X
That ledge drop sold me
Refreshing creativity, precise content. I don't feel like my time was wasted and I was engaged in watching what might happen next. Great job! Thank you for all the time you invested in producing this video. Even the plug was interesting🤙🏻
Thanks this is rad. I don't know how much longer I can go without getting one of these. I have little practical use for it beyond just wanting to ride around the park in circles. Have you tried walking dogs with it... Hmmm.
How about using it in a little snow in the months ahead...?
I would love to get the xr or gt but i travel a lot to go home so i think i can only take the pint on planes
The one wheel is a fun ride on land! Not too sure about it on water though.
Great video man. Thank you. I’m actually waiting on my pint x now. I can’t wait. Just scared of falling down. Im 45 year old and im not trying to break something. What do you think? FYI im not trying to speed or do tricks. The reason for the purchase is to ride it to work and to the parking lot. Which is 15 blocks away from work.
you can definitely do that & safely. I'm 5-0 w/the coolest safety gear & I've been cruising since last year! impatiently waiting for a GT atm!
Editing is crazy 🔥🔥🔥
