Eric, I lost my job in the city due to covid. Ive mentioned here before that ive been being responsible, waiting to get involved with firearms, until i live in a more rural area where i can properly enjoy them. Today i was offered a new job with a vastly better title, in a critical industry, 18% higher salary, and in a fairly rural town in the heart of ontario's Canadian Shield. This is a huge step for me. I just want to thank you for always giving me something to look forward to during this struggle. This is the best channel on youtube and there isnt a day that goes by where i don't appreciate you and chad and everyone else who makes this channel possible.
You guys should look into the Extar EP9 if you guys don’t already know about it, I have one and it’s wayyyyyy too much fun for the price range it sits at.
I wanted one, but I got a good deal on a CMMG colt mag lower. Ended up pairing it with a CMMG RDB upper after some mods to the feed ramp and mag catch. Got it tuned and running very well with my 147 reloads and my obsidian 45. Dare I say it’s as nice as the post sample mp5’s I have shot.
Thanks you guys, I always look forward to your vids! The SP9A3 is nice! I use the SIG Romeo5 on my CX4 storm and it's been great. It shuts off when not in motion, the very second it is barely moved it comes back on and the batt life is really good (something crazy like 50K hrs) and it has held zero with no problem. My CX4 has built-in sights and they are shrouded in molded (with the frame case) polymer, kind of over-sized so sights which are lower or need closer eye relief don't work as well. The SIG sight works great.
Dude, I'm decently impressed by this blocky little guy. Roller-delayed system? In a blocky, compact setup? Like you mentioned, seems like a great portable or home defense system.
It would be interesting to know the weight difference between the rollover delayed vs. blowback bolts. I’m sure the roller delayed would run smoother due to the lower reciprocating mass.
I've been wanting one for a while now ..... Saw some deals on line a few weeks ago ... but since I just already pushed my limit on firearms cost, I thought it best to sleep on it .... Next morning, ... I woke up saying that this would be the absolute perfect truck gun for me/us ... I do Doberman and Siberian Husky Rescue ..... I drive a 2A dedicated platform slightly modified Yukon Denali ..... They went up 300.00 overnight .... Had to hit the brakes PLUS ... Availability fell to ZERO overnight as well ..... Eric ... if you hear of one that's available under 9? Please let us know ..... Thanks bud ... Love all your posts too .... Very informative n moving me up the ladder ... Greatly appreciated ....
I chose the CZ Scorpion over the Stribog because, I could find a Stribog. But after tricking out my Scorpion I'm very happy. The end result; bad guy won't care what he got shot with anyway.
@@badas45 For me its the SB Tactical czpdw. Width was an issue more than length. Plus I can extend it much faster. It a little flexible but at 50 yds I can ring an 8" plate all day long off hand. Plenty for my truck/bedroom gun
@@dominicrossop3160 I absolutely love it. BUT!!! After I changed the pistol grip to a Magpul and got a BT Industries forearm. I also added a SB Tactical czpdw brace. The only other I'd consider would be a Sig MPX for more than twice the price and $70 mags.
Ammo wise, my Stribog SPA1 Gen 2 has issues cycling Federal HST 124 gr, and Winchester Active Duty MII52 115 gr, but no issues with Winchester Jacketed Hollow Point 115 gr. I mainly stick to ball ammo 124 gr.
I've got my AKV all kitted to hell with 120gr xtreme defenders loaded as my defense gun, I've replaced everything on it except the sort of permanent ones (already came with the enhanced safety). I've thrown on the Bulgarian style blow forward device, SLR rw handguard, inforce wml, holosun red dot, mine came with the sba3 brace so i swapped it for the triangle brace, us palm grip, ALG trigger (really easy to bump fire from an upward posture, not just from the hip), I can reliably bump fire bursts from said upward posture lol.
I'm glad they came out with a metal reinforced magazine. I always thought they were interesting from a design perspective, but the magazines always seemed like a weak point. This is a much more appealing product with some of the other changes incorporated on top of that. I know it's a meme, but if it doesn't take Glock mags it needs to do something that justifies not using Glock mags.
It does. Simply from an ascetic point. Angled feed lips of a glock Mag means the Mag has to be at a angle. These stribog and the ol colt mags are straight up and down much better looking.
A1 or A3? I know some of the A1s had a pretty strong recoil spring that GP will send you a lighter replacement for. I've had a few FTFs on my A3, seemingly due to the quite poor mag design, but no issues with stovepipes or FTEs, but I'm also running a can so that helps with that.
@@Evergreen1400 thank you. Ammo shortage though. I’m trying to avoid the $650 for the 1000rd case so my Stribog is in the safe til things get a lil more normal.
Yeah idk I think I'd rather save up and get a b&t apc9 or a HK sp5 buy once cry once just after watching MAC and mrgunsngear and your videos on it also sootch and garandthumbs vids just seems to have growing pains as I've heard you say before and some weird quirks also how brass can get caught in the action and jam it up like I've seen on MACs vids on it. With respect: European vowels are pronounced differently than vowels in 'Merica. The name of this weapon is pronounced "Stree Bog." Thank God for the metal feed lip mags! My gen 2 has never had a single problem, but good Lord the plastic feed lip mags feel weak and I'm "shooting on eggshells" waiting for one to fail.
they make this thing in .40? seems like it’d be a good economically priced option for agencies that are alrdy invested in a bunch of .40, and also me. lol
Solid vid as usual. I understand yours is an example of 1, but there are far too many vids out there with these A3's having some series feeding issues out of the box. I like the improvements, but until those feed issues are resolved I'll pass. I really like the overall design.
Hi I have been watching your channel a bit and Love it. I have an Sp9A3, as well as an A1. I acquired them in March and recently received the Braces. The A1 mags don't feed steel cases well, and the A3 has some minor ejection issues some CLP (suggestion from the military arms channel) in the mags seemed to clear up the issues. I imagine some issues will work themselves out. I seem to have the newest versions flat triggers and all. I guess I am wondering how your Stribogs are running and if these issues are normal.
Just and FYI. These are not made to run JHP rounds. Grandpower has confirmed that these were designed to run FMJ. If you're going to try to run JHP in this gun, run through a hundred or more and make sure it works, you're life is worth it. A lot of fan groups I've been part of has said that Hornady critical line is your best bet.
Went back and forth for the last few days on this or the CZ Scorpion. Chose the Stribog sp9a3g. Ordered the pdw w/tailhook and a holosun hs510c. Really appreciate all of your videos, but this one helped make up my mind. Looked amazing literally no muzzle rise and super soft. Question: I can’t run the can but can get away with a muzzle break or a flash hider w/a blast shield, good route or no?
This one looks like it runs better than everyone else’s. What oil are you using? I like that brass ejection pattern. A lot of other channels who were having issues, that ejection was very weak, probably causing a lot of the issues.
Ok my question would be is it worth it to switch to the roller delayed instead of the regular sp9a1 with non reciprocating handle I haven't had any problems at all with mine yet and that's with the first gen magazines
A1>A3 I do sincerely hope they start importing the Stribog TT (chambered in Tokarev), and I also want to see a Stribog in .45acp. Anyone out there had a chance to try the .22lr or Tokarev Stribogs?

This thing looks...pretty. It’s really well-designed.
My wife never liked a full AR rifle, she didn’t fit the platform so I got her a mp5 clone it seems to fit her.
Another viable option could have been a AR-PISTOL with an adjustable arm brace.
