It is very interesting that there's a resurgence of the 10mm happening now, I've always thought the 10mm would make for a good PPC due it's power level, I know several guys who use cheap 10mm hipoints to hunt deer with with good results here in KY. I just built an AR in 10mm using glock mags, although I would prefer the Stribog mags for looks. It will be interesting if the Stribog mags end up being the defacto alternative mag to the Glocks and if so if others will make AR lowers for them. I will say building a blowback AR does have the advantage of being cheaper (much cheaper, like $750 less), seemingly fewer reliability issues and the ability to use either 40 or 10mm ammo (the headspace in a blowback gun is not fixed as it is in the Stribog). Of course, the drawback is more felt recoil due to the mass of the bolt/buffer and spring but even then the 10mm isn't quite so back that blowback is that bad.

Stribog came out with a 10mm, and grandpower's website says 45 acp is on the way as well. So hopefully (for me at least) 40 s&w will also be on the way.
I want to see that too but the Banshee already wins in magazine cost and compatibility. 30rd 10mm Glock SGM mags are $20. H&K 30rd 10mm mags(what this A3 takes) are $120. That's a whopping $100 per magazine savings for 30rd mags. The 20rd mags they make for this are still more expensive than the SGM 30rd too and I bet the SGM 30rd isn't that much longer then the Stribog 20rd. It was CRAZY for them to use the UMP magazine design.

Seems it should be easy enough for Grand Power to design and sell a "Lite Spring" set up, for running this lower power "Range " ammo by Federal and others? Even give the buffer a lighter color so you could easily recognize what buffer and spring set up are in the gun. ???
Thanks for the video! Could we get a (subjective) evaluation of the felt recoil of the Stribog vs the CMMG Banshee vs straight blow-back AR 10mm vs DI AR 10mm (if you've had the pleasure of firing one)? I have a 16" DI 10mm upper from Macon Armory, but thinking about picking up either a Banshee or the Stribog for something a little shorter.
There is a DI 10mm? What's that like? Do they make like a 7"-10" barrel version? DI is a very soft recoiling system. Its why 9mm blowback literally has more recoil than 5.56 DI.
@@ShizawnSanders there isn’t a DI 10mm manufactured and available at retail, but you can order an upper be built by a few places. I had mine done by Rudy at Macon Armory, there is also RMW Xtreme and The AR Guy. They offer other (pistol) calibers as well.

MAC is this reliable enough for use as a duty gun, I worked for contractor / federal reserve as armored transport officer. I was considering MP5 clones but this seems like a good option. We can carry PCCS/SMGs in pistol calibers
Every PCC review I've watched over the past 3years, has been full of commenters sayig they're waiting for the company to offer it in 10mm. Well let's see how well this one does.
I've been wanting a sub-style 10mm for a long time. Plenty of reliable options for awhile, but none of them had the right aesthetic. I've never thought that magazines canted toward the grip look good (I understand it's usually from pistol mag compatibility). Enter the Stribog. I was pretty excited and got one early on when they were hard to come by. I haven't even shot it yet, I just like to look at it :) Tragic, I know.
Which Griffin suppressor are you running? And do you need any special adapter for the 9/16x24 TPI? Thanks! I had just received my 10mm Stribog just before your video post! Great package!
I love 10mm... in a handgun. Is it a better option vs 300bo? I don't think so. Ballistics are inferior as is mag capacity. 300bo is similar in rim diameter to 9mm which holds more in mags vs 40/10mm.
I’m waiting on CMMG to put a 10mm out in the Dissent PDW. I’ve got the 9mm, 300 blk out and 6arc. Will you ever finish your review of the CMMG in 300 blk out?
I have yet to shoot a Pcc, other than a HiPoint Carbine (its not even mine). So have nothing to compare it to, but for $350. it is a brick, and capacity, aesthetics, and ergo's, all suck, however it runs like mad, with everything you throw at it. plus it has won several competitions (not me), when other PCc's couldn't keep up, without problems. However, if I were to be able too afford a PCC. I personally want the Stribog oor an Extra EP99 as my first Pcc/Pdw
For those not in the know, the original design standards for 10mm is 200g @ 1250fps. Anything slower is considered an FBI load. 9mm is just .38 Super. Fight me. 😂
200gr at 1250fps would be great. That would be some serious power. I know Underwood has some that go over 2000fps in light loads. Very high energy for what it is.
Yeah, it looks like it would be a nice little camp carbine. I'm surprised how many people that I've mentioned that to have no idea what a "camp carbine" even is. Have you guys done anything on that?
So I’ve heard ‘ar-15 style trigger’ a lot about these, but does that mean it’s crosscompatable with AR triggers or is that just saying the trigger is similar in function to an ar trigger?
I like but I don't $1300 with an additional $200 tax stamp like it. That's before stock and optics too. So, looking at $2k+ unless you have spare parts laying around.
I've ran about 12 different HP rounds through it with no issues, including Buffalo. There's a couple other videos of people running Buffalo bore as well
I would like to see some velocity numbers with lighter bullets. I'm wondering how close to short-barreled 5.56 energy it can get. I like PCC's/pistols because they tend to be more durable in a lot of ways. It would be cool to see if a PCC can bridge the gap to rifle energy at close range.
I have 100gr Lehigh Defense Extreme Defenders in 10mm. They don't make that grain weight anymore unfortunately. Out of my 6.5" KKM barrel they are zipping out at 1700fps. They will pop 3a armor
A 7.5 ar with regular 55gr ahs the same energy as a 9mm at 100 yards while a 8in 10mm still has the power of a .45 at 350 yards. 10mm does great at retaining its energy. I plan on getting a smg kinda build but they still cost unless you buy a 10mm ar that isn't a cmmg. Really want a folding stock so I can make it a pdw. The 10 is way more effective in a short barrel than 556 but you can get a ak pistol for less.
@@martinsonofwar395 Underwood loads them in 115, and I do believe 100 as well. I’d have to go through waaaay too many cans of 10mm to find all the grain weights from underwood, but they use Lehigh projectiles and load them pretty freaking hot. I’ve got 1800+ fps stuff from them (out of the APC10).
@@eddiehoover2788 What I'm hoping for is close to 1000 ft-lbs of energy at a few feet and the reliability of a 9mm sub gun. You can run 1000's of rounds of full auto through a 9mm AR9, for example, in one sitting without a catastrophic failure. Whereas, rifles can't do that due to excessive heat.
Yay for that! I'm glad more manufacturers are supporting 10mm.

Stribog came out with a 10mm, and grandpower's website says 45 acp is on the way as well. So hopefully (for me at least) 40 s&w will also be on the way.
Could you compare this to the CMMG in 10mm? 😊🙏 Good review as always, thank you!
I like it!!! Love my B&T though.
It's good to see that the Strib is redeeming itself with its newest offerings.
I drooled over the G40 MOS because of your video in 2015. Its been my bear gun for 4 years. SRO and all
HB industries makes a Zhukov stock adapter, that thing fits good & tight and works great on the Bog.
Will it handle a religious diet of underwood or buffalo bore ammo?
**10 mm is precisely where the 41 magnum was supposed to be, (the 41 ended up just being a junior 44) halfway between 357 and 44 mag.
**Standard Glock magazines are 15 rounds the Arrendo accessories had a +5 floor plate designed like the Kriss floor plate.
**So the 20-round magazine really isn't bringing anything new to the table, and why didn't they just make it 30 rounds, is there any reason why?
SGM make "30rd" 10mm mags. They work flawlessly. In reality they are 28rd mags, though.
@@martinsonofwar395 so basically they put out a faulty product to begin with 🤔
**Then they should have made it 33 rounds
**But thank you for the information!
@@martinsonofwar395My smg mag loads all 30 of 10mm, not easy when its new tho.
Glock mags are single feed, fragile, and look hideous.
@@HYDRAdude can't believe you said fragile. Who wants 20rds for a pcc when you have other cheaper options
Seems it should be easy enough for Grand Power to design and sell a "Lite Spring" set up, for running this lower power "Range " ammo by Federal and others? Even give the buffer a lighter color so you could easily recognize what buffer and spring set up are in the gun. ???
Thanks again
You’re a little late to this party, but thanks for finally making this video.
Ive got stribog taste and hi-point budget 😂
I hear you brother! Me too!😂
You and me both. 😢 😂

Whatever you do don't look up the B&T apc10
@@epapa737 Holy smokes it's $2700 😱💀😭
@@johnnyk5 is there a 10mm DI barrel you can point me to somewhere between 8-10" with a pistol length gas port and a 10mm bolt that goes into a standard AR carrier? At point I can just build my own. Really wondering if hot 10mm makes enough gas to cycle DI. I'm actually interested. I can see anemic 10mm not working but as long as the hotter FMJ target loads work and Underwood and Liberty hot duty/hunting ammo works i will build me a cool 10mm pistol or SBR.
@@ShizawnSanders I can’t point you to any off-the-shelf DI barrels, but the bolt is a standard 6.8/224 Valkyrie.
@@johnnyk5 no shit on the bolt? That's interesting.
My bushnell holo sight finally died last week. After being on a dozen or so guns for many many rounds.
Banshee with Glock 20 mags, AR Lower grips, trigger components compatible. Plus I have the 10 mm Banshee and then bought the 45 acp Banshee upper that takes Glock 21 magazines.
I have a Striborg 9 mm but I like my CZ Scorpion better.
'In for a penny in for a pound' So I bought the A3 Tactical Striborg Lower Reciever. This conversion takes AR-15 drop-in Triggers and AR-15 grips. And it is compatible with CZ Scorpion Magazines including Manticore arms!
So now both my Striborg and CZ use the same magazines.
Would you prefer the Stribog or the CMMG?
CMMG
I would like to see a velocity comparison out of radial delayed blow back system and ar buffer system. Also against a 5 inch pstol.
Have a Vector Enhanced with a 6.5 barrel chambered in 10mm. Thing is fun to shoot so 10mm is the way to go if you haven’t tried it
Got 3 of those holosights! Hush yo mouth! We ain’t old MAC! DAMN IT MAN!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Since this is currently the only 10mm magazine pcc magazines know of other than the mp5/10 i wonder if this magazine will gain any popularity in aftermarket for other fireman's, such as a lingle lower for the b&t apc10 to take these mags
Love my A2
Thanks, Tim. Now there’s another gun on my “get list.” I already get flak about how many guns I have!
You can never have too many. 😂
MAC is this reliable enough for use as a duty gun, I worked for contractor / federal reserve as armored transport officer. I was considering MP5 clones but this seems like a good option. We can carry PCCS/SMGs in pistol calibers
I like 10MM very well also this Stribog......Thanks Mac....
Old F-4 Shoe🇺🇸
I paid $950 for the roller delayed sp9A3 so the 10mm isn’t that far off since it’s also the roller delayed version
I love how Karl Brügger strait up says the owner of stribog stole his design with the 9mm blow back stribogs
From what i understand that thread pitch on the Stribog isn’t too common. What suppressor set up are you using
Every PCC review I've watched over the past 3years, has been full of commenters sayig they're waiting for the company to offer it in 10mm. Well let's see how well this one does.
Great video. Thanks.
Can't wait for Lingle Industrise lower to come out for 10mm/45acp
I've been wanting a sub-style 10mm for a long time. Plenty of reliable options for awhile, but none of them had the right aesthetic. I've never thought that magazines canted toward the grip look good (I understand it's usually from pistol mag compatibility). Enter the Stribog. I was pretty excited and got one early on when they were hard to come by. I haven't even shot it yet, I just like to look at it :) Tragic, I know.
Never really wanted to jump on the 10mm bandwagon due to the cost of ammo and I’m a fan of .357 mag revolvers. This is a game changer for me.
This vs the CMMG banshee… which wins?
CMMG, you won’t need a punch and hammer😂 They are awesomeness, soft shooting and all metal.
This second I see ejection cover and lock open when empty mags how did that part work!
Which Griffin suppressor are you running? And do you need any special adapter for the 9/16x24 TPI? Thanks! I had just received my 10mm Stribog just before your video post! Great package!
That's why the cz scorpion 9mm mags functions so well
Aero survival rifles are good in 9 and 10 mm for a pcc if u dont mind a buffer tube
Direct blowback = 💩
Great video. I still run one of those old bushnell holosights! It's held up for me since the 90s
So it doesn't like low-power 10mm; but what about high power loads like Buffalo Bore? Is it safe to shoot high end 10mm rounds in a Stribog?
I love 10mm... in a handgun. Is it a better option vs 300bo? I don't think so. Ballistics are inferior as is mag capacity. 300bo is similar in rim diameter to 9mm which holds more in mags vs 40/10mm.
I’m waiting on CMMG to put a 10mm out in the Dissent PDW. I’ve got the 9mm, 300 blk out and 6arc. Will you ever finish your review of the CMMG in 300 blk out?
❤❤So it would still work without that roller or pin ??? probably work on the range ammo if the pin was removed ?
I have yet to shoot a Pcc, other than a HiPoint Carbine (its not even mine). So have nothing to compare it to, but for $350. it is a brick, and capacity, aesthetics, and ergo's, all suck, however it runs like mad, with everything you throw at it. plus it has won several competitions (not me), when other PCc's couldn't keep up, without problems. However, if I were to be able too afford a PCC. I personally want the Stribog oor an Extra EP99 as my first Pcc/Pdw
Very nice if im buying a pcc its gonna be in 10mm.
For those not in the know, the original design standards for 10mm is 200g @ 1250fps. Anything slower is considered an FBI load.
9mm is just .38 Super. Fight me. 😂
I have some 10mm 100gr Lehigh Defense Extreme Defenders I loaded to ~1700fps. 😂
@@martinsonofwar395yeah. That's one of my favorites too.
You say camp carbine and most people are going to think of the Marlin Camp 9. So it doesn’t really mean much.
No need for another name @ camp carbine
@@echofoxtrotwhiskey1595correct
@@DinoNucci If he’s talking about like a woods gun for wildlife defense, sure this fits, but there’s tons of other good options out there.

Looking for a 10mm pdw.... wish cmmg had a descent in 10mm bcuz the banshee has the buffer tube which isn't few pdw like
Considering the size and weight of the 10mm stribog what use case would you choose this over a 300 blackout?
Nope, I would go 300Blk first.
If you’re comparing a 300BLK firearm of the same size, 300BLK has more to work with.
@@Militaryarmschannel Thanks. I appreciate you being open and honest about that.
Tim...looking at Global's website they have an impressive like of sa pistols, do you have any of them or videos on any of them...
Great video
So I’ve heard ‘ar-15 style trigger’ a lot about these, but does that mean it’s crosscompatable with AR triggers or is that just saying the trigger is similar in function to an ar trigger?
Regarding the magazine. Isn't 10mm straight walled?
Yes
Yes
It's like an inertial roller delay...does that top weight/accelerator pushed forward under spring pressure?
🇺🇸
Ump magazines work. Expensive as hell but it is what it is if you want 30rd mags
The 10mm with 7.5 in barrel is man stopping definitely and 4 legged critter too
cool but too pricey! is it true u can always shoot 40 out of a 10mm gun?? like 357 n 38?
Why no chrono test out of the longer barrel? Or thats gonna be a new video?
The old bushy holosight nice touch looks like it belongs 😊
I like but I don't $1300 with an additional $200 tax stamp like it. That's before stock and optics too. So, looking at $2k+ unless you have spare parts laying around.
User error
Mac, Is it an actual AR trigger that they use? If so, any issues installing a replacement trigger?
It does use AR triggers
So a 10mm PCC or a 300 blackout pistol?
How do those compare?
And what is the ultimate choice between the two?
Even 9mm+P is superior to .300bo that crap is nothing but a trend
.300bo drops off past 150m at the same rate as 9mm
getting this forsure!
Hk usp in 10mm = NEED
Edit: i imagine there is someplace where all thread protectors dwell in secret next to 1911 recoil springs
How did it do shooting some hotter ammo say something like buffalo Bore or Underwood 180 grains hollow points
I've ran about 12 different HP rounds through it with no issues, including Buffalo. There's a couple other videos of people running Buffalo bore as well
Its funny that people in their 50's consider old, those in their 70's are young.
But will it work with .40cal loaded in the mag?
You can get well over 700 ft lbs from Underwood 10mm, especially out of the longer PCC barrel.
Is this compatible with HK MP5-10/40 magazines?
when does the 40 s&w come out?
Like most 10mm range ammo, that ammo is about 100fps faster than 40sw range ammo.
10mm has potential.
But most manufacturers don''t use it.
