Gotta say though, the so called "watermelon" 1st build was one of my inspirations to kitbashing and I loved it! The army paint, shape, and magnet articulation we're perfect. The new revamp is awesome as well Dr., thanks again for another vid!
Really liked the primer look, and cringed a bit when I saw the silver, but in the end, it came together really well. I tend to never go back and update an old build, more use it to inspire a better one, but glad you came full circle on this one. Both looked cool
The rebuild looks great! I like the new parts and the color scheme adds interest to it. I liked the original one but this a neat upgrade. Thanks for sharing this.
I really do like the rebuild it looks Great. I never really thought about it when I watched the first one but the others were kinda right, it did have sort of a watermelon look. I think you need to try to find the stuff to make a second one maybe with a little different arms or weapons and have them be a pair of Weapon Bots called Tic and Tac, I think that would be awesome.
Hey i love these videos just found and subbed u ur awesome, i dont even do any scratch building/kit bashing myself but i get bored alot on youtube and sometimes i watch random types of videos for entertainment. I've been loving seeing how creative people can be with simple dollar store toys and food/drink containers and just ripping apart and mashing together stuff wherever it seems its fits. Its a really cool idea and these kinds of videos are inspiring me to maybe buy some dollar store toys and try it out myself. It seems like an affordable and very freestyle type of creative hobby to get into.
So glad you found my channel. The maker community is amazing and what I love most is how so many people share their techniques. The dollar store makes it really easy to get into this hobby not to mention all the junk we have laying around the house…😅 Thanks 🙏
Love your 📹 content bro, awesome build as always. Have you seen the new Lightyear toys, they have great articulation and are perfect for kitbashing, would love to see a video on them.
@@DRToysCreations ••••• would love to see a custom build from Dr. Toys, using those sweet lightyear robots and ships... I might also kitbash one of'em Halo Mantis Mechs.
I love your builds, man. You and Andy Mecha have given me inspiration to start building my own stuff. (And one day I'll work up the courage to start assembling the Maschinen Kreiger 'Camel' model kit the missus got me for Xmas. That's a wee bit intimidating atm 😆🤷♂️🙃.) Keep up the great work, brother 🤜🤛
“So what I’m doing here is, I’m just going to drill a hole into my hand” 😳
I'm a professional! 😂
I think about that everytime I drill something!!!
Super cool love the attention to detail.
I'm glad you like it! I love doing the detail work, it's so much fun to me!
Glad to see you.

Really cool. I love how the small imperfections you talked about actually made it look more natural and cool
Thanks. I love making it look like it's been used and the cool part is it's not that hard to do!

Cool bot revamp 👍 I always drag going back to projects once they are "done" but this was a big improvement! I hope you and the family are well
Thanks! This was the one sitting on my shelf that I never really liked so a revamp was in order!
We are all doing great! Thanks for asking!
Awesome. What kind of primer are you using?
Just a rustoleum gray from Home Depot.
A homemade UrbanMech! (If you're a Battletech fan, you know!)
This is amazing man
Thanks!
This is siiick. Love it, love your content. Instant sub
Awesome! Thank you!🙏

That's so fun to hear! Andy's a great guy and does some awesome builds!
I totally get it a Maschinen kit would even be scary for me! 😂
What sort of paints do you use?
My main go to is rattle can spray paint (Rustolium because it’s cheap), and Citadel Warhammer paint (not cheap 😅)
