I absolutely love everything about this build! The story, the aesthetic, the design-build process, amazing work! I'm looking forward to exploring this world you are building.
My new favorite channel. I've made a few scratch-build droids, but this guy is on another level. I think I'm going to get back at it. The inspiration brought on by this amazing content.
Glad you like it! I was a little unsure going into this project if it would turn out how I envisioned, but I think in the end this might be my second favorite (I still prefer my Mabbit bot a bit over this!).
35 seconds into the first video on your channel, aaaand: SUBSCRIBED! I'm throughoutly impressed by the quality of your videos, Eric. - The build itself is both creative and impressive. - The fact that it's story driven is just genius. And the way you introduce it, bit by bit, just works. - Your narrator style does everything justice, by being both informative and funny. I spurted out a loud laugh, when you mixed the basing material. All in all, your channel and its content is a true gem, and I felt like taking the time to comment on the video and let you know! Best regards, Casper
I need to channel some of this diorama energy of yours. I'm looking at building a Contemptor Dreadnought, but not in a fighting pose. I want it to represent the fragmented remaining humanity behind the soul locked inside the walking coffin. I want him sitting or kneeling and taking care of bonzai trees. If you want some good spray paint that has a proper matte try blackboard paint.
Amazing work as usual! I am so curios about beyond the blight and looking forwards to your next build. Don't change a thing, your editing and crafting are outstanding 👌🏼
Man, on top of how good your builds, storytelling, world building and video editing is, I absolutely love your sketches! Do you have somewhere where you post them? Would love to see more of your drawing!
Not yet. I used to draw more, but I really only draw for my concepts for these models now. And a lot of what I do is strictly digital, though I'm keeping the resolution very high so that I can (possibly?) do something with it in the future.

Oooooooo, I picked one of these up at dollar tree months ago and wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with it but this is giving me some ideas Beautiful build
I’m really impressed by how confidently and cleanly you sketch! The story for this one really got to me, I’m excited to get through the rest of your videos in this series :)
This is lovely! I know I'm 8 months late with this, but if you need an idea for a future build, maybe a follow-up would be cool, of a fully grown enormous orange tree with what remains of the now long broken walker underneath/entangled in the roots, having never found a place to plant it but always having kept it safe and nourished
Or a small grove of young orange trees scattered around it...? The lore story broke my heart (in a good way), and I want to imagine a happy ending for the tree (and happy-ish for the walker having unknowingly fulfilled its duty). I do have to applaud the power of leaving it open for us to feel compelled to complete the rest of the story! 🙂
@@SPQRKlioYeah, I kind of saw a trail of little orange trees wherever an orange fell off the back of the walker. Maybe have a map as backdrop for a future build showing the journey of the walker across the country with little orange icon for all the new trees that spramg up along the way.
Oooh I am really loving the lore and how you develop it upload by upload... I think this is my favorite Beyond the Blight build thus far🤩! Cannot wait to see what else you thought out for this universe😆😆 Thank you once again for your vidoes, they really inspire me!

Awesome, I get so much inspiration from other artists on UA-cam so I’m humbled to be able to pay it forward! This is just a hobby for me, but I hope to compile my stories into a book one day.

Great video and wonderful story! I liked the techniques you used to get everything looking as good as it does. A lot of techniques I've seen are way above my skill level (like a 12 hour tree), but what you've shown here is in my comfort zone and I can't wait to try it myself! Thank you!

Such artistry. The forlorn delicate web of life you imagined here with the last orange tree and the important quest of the unaware robot reminds me of our own lives as humans. Not really knowing our purpose, but proceeding anyway. We can never fully be sure if our effort amount to anything at all, but in case it does we proceed with gusto, and in doing so, look back to find that we have lived after all. Our world is enriched by the messages told from your imagination. Thankyou so much.

I may admit the fact you made a creative robot Walker one like the Walker staying long enough on the swamp at the point the tree start to grow on his back or the top one
Wonderful execution, imagination. mechanics, and construction process.. I would not have imagined a dot of water before bending would work, in that I figured it would swell up and/or distort.
Watching you essentially scratchbuild the entire thing from card stock is very impressive. Especially adding on the extra layers and details. I was wondering if you happened to be into the gunpla hobby and using those parts for your own robot and integrating them is very cool.
