- Hello there!
This is me coming out as gay to my mom, stepdad, and sister.
It's been a long, long journey but I'm so grateful to finally be able be myself (openly) and have my family know this part of me (that I kept hidden for so long).
Let's support one another... I know how difficult being in/out of the closet can be.
I believe social media should be used to support, encourage, and highlight hope even when we feel anxious, scared, or hopeless.
Big thanks to the brave LGBTQIA+ people that came before me (especially here on UA-cam)
xoxo
JOMSI
I'm so happy for you.I hope that when I come out as Bi, my family will be just as supportive as yours ❤💜💙
🌈
@max D but I really want to 🥺 and I found out recently that my eldest sister is Bi too and has been out of the closet for a while and I never new. Knowing that makes me feel a lot better 😌😞
I see a lot of people come out as Bi as a first step them as gay or lesbian later. There are lots of bi people, my advice is to make sure you know what you are before you tell the world. People are going to love you regardless of your sexuality but it does avoid confusion if it's not an evolving process
@@HobbitHobbit thanks for the advise.
@@bluedovegacha7815 You are welcome to reach out anytime. My coming out likely happened long before you were born but whether it happening in 1992 or 2021, the feelings are the same as are the conversations with family and friends. Whatever fears or doubt you have, they are created in your head. There are people that love you no matter what and friends are your friends despite sometimes doing stupid stuff (that is why we have friends, they put up with us when we are awesome and equally when we are idiots).Know that people like you because you are a good person worthy of their trust; being bi, gay, trans, or anything else doesn't change how incredibly you are...you just come with "extras" and that makes you even more special.
You have the best family any man can ask for.
I'm bi, and my family supports me (I'm out to most everyone that I know). I'm not sure what their reaction would be if I was 100% homosexual, or close to it. Probably not a whole lot different.
What an AWESOME family !!❤️❤️
Jonah you are simply amazing. Your family are the best humans. So much love to you all!!!
Congrats Jomsi! It is something we all went through, even when a blind horse can see you're gay :)
