- The Finals has what it takes to be a massive and popular FPS game. It combines some of my favorite elements of Battle Royale, destructible environments, hero shooters, and team-based combat. The finals gameplay Loop is fantastic and I'm really proud of Embark Studios which is a Nexon subsidiary.

this game is so fun. Even with only 4 maps and 1 core game mode, I pick it up every day. Every game plays completely different (map modifiers, enemy loadouts.)
Haven't run into hackers but I know some people have. Especially in Asia regions.
You run into multiple loadouts? All I find is teams of 2-3 mediums with AKs and Scars spamming the healing beam all game.
@@dankmctwist6575probably because you start with that setup. As more time goes on it'll be varied a lot more
This is so opposite to me. I play in ranked mode. Every party has 2Ms 1H, 2Hs 1M. Throwing nuke barrels to each other.
Edit : also hackers every 4-5 matches
@@TheModdedwarfare3 Not really. Healing beam is the meta at lower ranks, just because of the immense impact it can have. Recon sense becomes better after you can communicate and aim better tho

@@fer1928prThat doesn't even matter because people only use two guns. It makes sense why the finals only has two assault rifles. They know how people gravitate to barely any other weapons.

@@Nucleofission exactly. What's the point in cod anymore. Dumb 2 weapon metas (one of which is often toxic, but part of their battlepass or shop) and loads of utterly meaningless attachments, perks and items. After being dedicated to warzone since release, it's shocking how buggy it can get, how sub par and few in number the maps are, and probably most of all, how much the devs seem to deliberately create inconsistent playlists. Finals puts Cod to shame
Only a handful of maps, but you forgot to mention that they change. We have fog, sand, rain, day, night and sometimes platforms, sometimes other things. They feel so different thanks those little tweaks.
the destruction makes it play different every time too, its not like cs where you defend something from one spot but now because youre putting toxic tanks or blowing holes in stuff, it always feel different
You could say it's 'Levelution' like the battlefield Devs used to say back when they where making bf3.

10:10 I believe it gets overlooked that, in the practice range, you can use ANY gun, specialization, and gadget whether you have it unlocked or not and switch between ALL of them. This lets you try-before-you-buy anything in the game
the biggest compliment i heard about the finals was from 2 mates. Those 2 mates played Titanfall 2 religiously and after that they never grinded any other shooter, when they checked out The Finals both said that this game gives them a feeling that they last had when they played Titanfall 2.
As a Titanfall 2 aficionado, I can second that statement! This game is the closest thing we have to that brilliant titanfall experience!

The grinding matches before ranked unlocks is also a great anti-cheat mesure

@@Nova.UA-camLive I saw that. Sadly in one of the rewasd discord their is already a tutorial to hide rewasd behind some whitelisted software so you still get auto aim.

@@Hawxkz regardless, I think that software is used by like a handful of people and none of them are t500 I’ve played with most of them and they’re either controller or die hard KBM players. That video “exposing” had no validity whatsoever besides “I heard from a friend”

I just wish somebody would make a good casual 6v6 shooter like old cods. I prefer mindless casual type shooters because it’s like a way of relaxation for me and the industry seems to just not want to provide that experience anymore. Every new game now is just sweaty as hell and built to be competitive for esports/streamers.

The throwing knife skin that turns them into gambits throwing cards is top tier work. Sooo good!! This game is amazing. Me and 2 of my boys from work play every night after work. Such a good time. I hope they bring new maps soon.

This game is really just pure fun, adrenaline, and skill. Very rarely do I get enthusiastic when playing a game, but each match literally has me at the edge of my seat, screaming and shouting at my team to help me out while I carry them.
It really is awesome.
Once we get a roadmap and a good season I think it’ll be a continued smashing hit they gotta keep the momentum going
the finals is too fun! i love all of the equipment! you find some things you really like and some you steer clear from its a good balance in my opinion

This game is so frustrating I personally don’t like the selection of guns. So I’m running around with a shotgun or sniper but I get bored of carrying teammates higher level than me. Aside from the falling to my death because my teammates decided to get on with me
What’s makes this game great for me is that I don’t feel any SBMM in the quick play mode. I can just play bank it and have a good time without feeling like I need to give it my all. I am a lower level so idk if it scales based on your level but this game is a breathe of fresh air I really hope it gets the support it needs

It’s the best new FPS in a decade. It takes parts from Battlefield, COD, Overwatch, puts them together in a unique package and hits the holy grail in that every match feels different. I’ve been waiting for a game like this for absolutely ages and didn’t expect this to be it.

The game is pretty fun. My main complaint is the heavy class. Heavy has the most health, weapon with the highest ammo capacity, and the only class with a secondary. It’s like why wouldn’t you play heavy. Makes it a bit of a pain to combat them, especially as a light.

Okay there must be something in the water because I’m literally in the same boat! I haven’t played cod in a few days since I picked this up. It’s just genuinely fun and doesn’t feel like the game is taking advantage of your time. Everytime I’m done playing I just wana play more

The finals has the most potential out of any fps right now. I don’t know if it’s the best but if the devs keep putting as much effort into updates and fixes than this will be a great e sport and game in general

Can you customize the objectives? Been playing since the last beta and looked through everything and haven’t seen that. Sound cool af though, game is super good
what got me interested is the diverse builds you can create with the weapons/classes, it'd be awesome if The finals doesn't go the way of hyperscape
Love the positivity
The Finals definitely has a bit of a grind slope, but even someone as casual as I can push through every equipment unlock in about eighty hours without ever touching tournaments (not even unranked), and unlike COD, it's not walled off by level or otherwise order-restricted. If you knew exactly what pieces you wanted going in, you'd be looking at maybe eight hours to get just those. Realistically the time investment is going to be the same, and there'll always be something new you want to unlock until the very end, it just feels a lot better when you can decide what comes next.
This game is sooooo good. I play it way more than warzone, fortnite and Apex

I play a ton of the finals and the main thing I think need nerfed is recon senses it's the main ability I use and I can see teams fighting on the other end of the map and I can always tell me team exactly where we're gonna get pushed from
does the ps5 have 120hz mode, or is there any info for future ?

I completely disagree about unloxks being grindy. You inlock VRs (tokens) that allows you to choose what to unlock. So although technically you're correct that if one wanted to unloxk every single item (as i have) it will take a while, theres no need to unloxk anything outside of your preferred class and playstyle.

Ive found this game recently and i do like it kinda seems like itll be easy to get burnt out on in the long run though really.

If you want to try a non twitchy medium try the grenade launcher. It’s actually great for playing off site demolition and it’s really good at 1v1 medium or light fights where you have cover or have a medium range angle and they are either forced to push or disengage. I also love how quick matches can be. Gaurenteed no longer than ten minutes can be as short as 2 but have a lot of impact action which makes the game loop stay not stale and rewarding 😊

The Finals is the best game I’ve played in a long time. I loved black ops 2. Then I loved Fortnite. I’ve been waiting for a new game to love for so long and it’s finally here.

Such a fun and refreshing game, so good to play something that's relatively innovative and not a bog standard BR. Feels equally fun and rewarding of skill. Also the first battle pass I've bought in YEARS.
Is this only pc? Or can it be in Xbox or ps5 ?
PS5 version plays very well. Put your FOV to 90 and turn off blur and the other video effect.

Only problems i have with the game currently is the heavy shotgun balance, The stun gun duration, and the matchmaking but other than that this game is just amazing. Haven't had this much in a shooter in awhile.
I've been hooked on playing this for fun. It's one of the most fun shooter games I've played in a while. Play this over cod play this over siege playing this over apex it's killing my top 3 😂😂😂

This is the first fps i can think of that literally every weapon and gadget in the game is viable given the player has enough skill to utilize them properly

I'm the same as you, man! The only competitive fps i played much of was valorant until the finals stole me away 😂 AND I have a busted up hand too, but it's my keyboard hand, so it makes movement a bit annoying but sometimes i just hold W and turn with my mouse when I gotta. And I love the light (or scout in my head coz i was a tf2 kid 😂) coz I'm so adhd that the speed of zipping around and jumping everywhere at warp speed really tickles my brain 😂😂
If no one has said, once you get into ranked you get the currency to unlock stuff like crazy
But it's 50 games to unlock ranked
@@Drift0r yup. Give a good amount of time to learn the game. If you had people who have no idea jumping right into ranked, that would be a nightmare and really skew the rankings.

Interestingly enough, I'm already feeling the burnout in this game as I did in cod. I log on for daily contracts and then I bounce til tomorrow. SBMM has led to serious burnout and I'll probably drop this as quick as I did CoD if/when XDefiant comes out
I'd disagree about the unlocking. After 40 hours of COD nowadays would net you half the gear. 40 hrs you'll have it all unlocked in the Finals.
I just downloaded it last night with my friends and we had a freakin blast. The only sad part is I think we ran into a cheater on our 3rd match. It could also have been Shroud. Who knows?
My only wish would be that hipfire would be more accurate like the game Dirty Bomb, where its a combo of CoD and Counter Strike.
Hipfire for shotguns is the same as ads spread

It's funny that you mention the grind is tough, it definitely gets better the longer you play, since at the start you want multiple unlocks to fit a certain playstyle. Later it tapers off to just trying a new weapon or gadget every once in a while. I think 50 hours to unlock the majority of gadgets and weapons is not bad at all, FAR from what I'd compare to call of duty. That game requires using specific weapons to get new unlocks, that's totally different than just passively earning currency for matches played.
this game is fun but it has issues with balancing between the classes. in every game I play the one with the most kills is almost always a heavy--I have a friend who is around my skill but when he goes heavy and I go light he usually doubles my kills. They need to buff light or find other ways to make it more viable---even most light guides I saw tell you to just stop wasting your time and go for medium.
I'm glad you're enjoying this game too! I already have a hundred hours played and I'm pretty hooked, I don't wanna play any other MP game currently. My teammates and I have run into a few hackers, one was on our team last night and we kept teamkilling him with goo and gas, but he still managed to get 34 kills on other players because he was cross mapping them with the pistol as an L
Honestly I just wish the game felt less like a hero shooter. That may sound weird but some of the abilities r overturned imo and I wish it was more abt gun play and movement, rather than hiding behind heavy shields and healing with your beam.
