    Right now, I've watched your video two times.
    There are too many rules. If I can't remember all of them I always make some mistakes. But if I use the
    expressions by heart (insert what sounds better to me) I always get the right answer.
    The best approach to make no mistakes is to hear a lot of English so that you get a feeling of what is right
    or wrong.

      Hello Ralf,
      I believe that a combination of the two approached (some study & a lot of exposure) is the best strategy as it covers both styles of learning.

    This wasn't the easiest lesson! I've watched your video several times until I was able to apply your rules without any mistake.
    I think it isn't possible to explain this subject with less exceptions and still be correct. Good work!

    This what I am looking for was accompanied by verb with Ed past tense that breaks s +was/were + verb+ Ing I was so confused in this part, now you had given an example "was+ verb + Ed " that breaks the grammar rule mam thank you how could it be.

      was/ were + verb + ing >> Past Continuous in the Active form: I was cleaning the room.
      was/were + verb + ed >> Past Simple in the Passive form: The room was cleaned.

    In the exercise no 6 , U mentioned "monthly" as an adjective but i think it is an adverb. Correct me if i am wrong and thank u so much for the video.

      It is both, but used more commonly as an adjective:
      We hold monthly (adjective) meetings.
      We hold meetings monthly (adverb).

      It is both my friend:
      ~ I hate writing monthly reports. (adj)
      ~ We visit my grandparents monthly. (adverb)

      It would be a good idea to take some notes as you watch the lesson, and use your notes to do the exercises. This will help you to remember the content.

    In exception 1, you mentioned some common adverbs which can not formulated with ly. But the words like hard, early, late are adjective and become Adverbs only after adding ly eg. Hardly, lately etc. Kindly explain.

      It's not an adjective because you can't put it before a noun. See the dictionary entry: dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/soon.
      I think in these sentences, the verb has been dropped: My birthday is (coming) soon.
