A little about me:
My name is Minoo. I’m originally from Iran, and I live and work in the U.K.
I’m a qualified English teacher and teacher trainer, but that’s not what makes me good at my job.
I just love teaching! It makes me feel good when I can share something I’ve learned with others. That’s why I still love teaching English after 40 years of doing it!
English is such a vast and complicated language! My passion is to make it as easy as possible for others to learn. My students always praise my ‘clear explanations’ and 'structured method'.
I suppose I can explain things well because I’m not a native speaker. I’ve struggled with English pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary myself. I’ve had to work out the rules and learn the exceptions, and I just love sharing my own discoveries with others like me who are learning English as a foreign language.
Thank you so much, everyone, for all the ‘likes’ and your lovely and supportive comments! I'm so grateful for your support!
Reach C1 fluency by joining my complete course at app.anglo-link.com/. This teacher-guided online course includes weekly LIVE Lessons and Workshops with me + a Members' WhatsApp Conversation Club to boost your speaking skills. Memberships start from US$6.50 per month.
I love lesson from now. First I don't like it when I listen to you I love it so much. Thanks a lot.😇😇😊😊😊
The teacher is very very good, doing exercises soon after the explanation is really helpful, so subscribe to Anglo-link is a must if you're learning English no matter what level you are at, thanks a lot.
Thank you for your support, Tiong!

Question: which one is correct ?
1: I will meet you on Christmas holidays.
2: I will meet you at Christmas holidays.
3: I will meet you in Christmas holidays.
1st one is correct dear
Excellent your classes! It´s impossible to get bored with them.
Thanks a lot teacher!
You are my fav teacher!! but umm.... I am sorry for asking. in the sentence 'while I was sleeping' I think 'while' is a conjunction not a preposition. it's confusing. it's said prepositions are followed by nouns. could you please explain it more? Thank you so much :)
You could say that "while" is a conjunction because it is joining two clauses to make a sentence. You're doing very well to think of that. "While I was sleeping, they ran away." One clause is telling you when the other clause happened. Without "while", it could be two sentences: "I was sleeping. They ran away." It's important to remember, though, that "While I was sleeping" isn't a sentence. That's why she called it a preposition. It's only a clause. It's no different from saying "At two o'clock." Is that a sentence? No, "At two o'clock, they ran away." So, now we're using "at" in the same way as we're using "while." So it's also a preposition. It's complicated, but worth thinking about until you understand. Keep at it. You're on the way to speaking English well.
Your point is not correct. When you take the sentence with "while", it's not a sentence which is true. And when you take "while" out, the rest should either be a noun or noun phrase. Going by your point, all the subordinating conjunctions would be prepositions. Anita is correct. While is a conjunction.
Wilfried Mathias I wasn't denying that Anita was right. I wasn't disagreeing with her. But can't you see Anita's point?
False

Thank you very much.
These are the doubts that we have when we are learning English in advanced levels. we know the words to, into, real, really etc, but sometimes we do not know how to use them correctly.
Thank you again, your videos are helping me (no to me) a lot.
Best wishes for you!
Thank you very much, Silvia! I'm glad my lessons are proving helpful to you.
This is the proper way through which everyone can easily understand without any difficulty because first the uses of preposition is mentioned. After then some sentences/examples are given to understand the thing to ise in sentence. And finally test/exercise is given immediately & answer is also given after giving some time to one to think which preposition should be used. That's the best way of teaching I am watching for the first time. I think I will become fan of this soon. This is my first video on this channel. Going forward I will prefer to learn from this channel.
Thank you very much, Siba! I hope you enjoy my other lessons too.
May God bless you. What a sweet voice!
Thanks a lot, Georgina!

Hello there beautiful~! It's good to be back :) It was great clip as always. I hope prepositions of place are coming next (in/at/on/to South, West Coast etc.), they are bloody confusing.
+tgchan
I'm glad you've liked this one. Indeed, 'place' is next' and more problematic than 'time'. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to cover everything, but I'll do my best.
