Excellent! Keep up the good work.
🙏
Thank you, Ms. Minoo. Your lessons are very useful as usual. However, I've a question, can I say ' bouncier or more bouncy'? Or both of them are acceptable?
You're welcome!
'bouncier' is better because it ends in 'y'.
I am a turkish but i understand English and i can speak english. I love this lesson... I am going to go to the england. Thank you so much teacher, you are very good at expressio😍😍😍🤗

You're very welcome. Enjoy your stay in England!
Great lesson but I would like to ask you the main difference between comparative adjectives and adverbs. When should I use either one? Thanks
Thank you! For the answer to that question, I'd recommend you watch my lesson called Adjectives & Adverbs'.
Madam you are one of the best teachers in the world, truly.
Thank you very much, Jadav! I'm glad you've enjoyed my lessons.
I'm a Brit with an interest in how English is learned. Your vids are absolutely terrific.
Thank you very much, Alan.
While asking a question, which of the below is correct?
What's more dark? Or What's Darker?
Thank youuuu!
It's always 'darker'.
Thank you for your great lessons. I was learned very nice.
You're very welcome.
I don't have any questions concerning both superlative and comparative.
However, I never know when and which to use in sentences like: "You're the person that I have talked the most" I never know if I should use 'the most'/'most'/'mostly'/'more'. What is the difference between these in the kind of context above mencioned?
Love her =) She makes everything clear =)
Thank you very much, Valeria!
You are the most intelligent English teacher on UA-cam. Thumbs up !

This is a very good video! English is my first language but I decided to watch this because it has been a long time since I have studied the rules in-depth. I would just like to point out that I immediately had an issue with the sentence, "physics is more interesting than maths." I found out that "maths" is actually a informal/slang shortening of the word mathematics which is mostly a British usage. In the Americas where English is spoken, "maths" looks like a pluralization of the word math which is never appropriate. I hope this is helpful and doesn't come off sounding nit-picky.
Thank you!
I teach British English, and that's why I've used the word 'maths'. However, the information you have provided on the American usage is very interesting.
It's an excellent source for detailed information on the English subject.
Thank you very much!
I love the way u teach, so calm and on point always. That makes us simple to understand.
May God bless u with health wealth n longevity. 🙂
Thank you very much for your kind wishes, Mohammed! I'm glad my lessons are helpful to you.
😊
Hi! I am on the 4th minute of watching this video, however, I'd like to add something to the section about adding 'most' to adjectives. I would say to add 'the most' rather than just 'most' because the superlative form always goes with 'the' as far as I know. please, correct me if needed. Thank you very much for your amazing videos!
I'm glad you like my lessons, Daria.
Indeed, you've made a very good point. I should have said 'the most'.
@@AngloLinkEnglish you are the best, many thanks😍

Thank you very much!
Hellooooo! I love all your videos, they are very useful when it comes down to improve my British English pronunciation and, of course, grammar. But after watching this video a question remained. I know there are some rules concerning the word "different". Do I really always have to use "that of" and "those of" when using "different"? Is it for all the adjectives?
Thank you very much from a brazilian student who loves british culture!
Thank you very much for your positive feedback, David.
I'm not sure I understand your question. Could you type out complete sentences to show me how you think you should use 'different'?
Hello Anglo link

I'm glad this lesson has been helpful to you.
Great vid. Could you please tell if this sentence right or wrong? Or which one is right “ she draws most beautifully among all my friends” or “ She draws the most beautifully among all my friends”
Thank you!
Both are correct. With adverbs, you can drop 'the'. And, if there's no comparison, you must drop 'the': She sings most (=really) beautifully.
If you're interested, here's a long thread with different answers to this question:

Hello! Can anyone explain me please, why do we sometimes use THE with superlative adverb and sometimes no. For example: "It's THE most beautifully furnished room here" and "Which do you use most often: public transport or a car?" Why don't we write THE most often here? Why don't we use THE with adverbs in the video (She draws most beautifully among all friends), if we have the group here (among all friends..of all..)? I'm really confused now... I know that we don't write THE if we compare the same person/thing in different situations like I'm most productive in the morning, This city is most attractive at night etc.. But help me with my examples pleaaasse....
When we use i n the sentences comparative or superlative , because many sentenses i think comparative but you use superlative. tank you very much.
If you have two things / people, use the comparative form.
If you have more than two, use the superlative form.
Thanks so much for explaining the subject, dear teacher. It's helpful for English learners.
You are welcome!
Hi !
When n Why do We use " the" before comparative degree . for example
The higher We go , the cooler it is.
Plxxx reply ...I Asked many te
that's parallel comparative, it is used to indicate continuous changes.

There is a number of one-syllable adjectives not mentioned in the video ("exceptions 3") that also take more-most and not er-est: for example "prone" and "moist", nowadays also seems like "proud" is going more and more ("pun" intended) in this direction.
Thank you for sharing these, Anssi!
Thank you! This is one of the best resources that explains the best about common mistakes when using repeated comparatives/superlatives in a same sentence :)
You're welcome! I'm glad this lesson has been useful to you.
You are such an amazing teacher. You are better than mine. You see, I´m using what I´ve learnt from this lesson. Kisses and keep iot up like this.
Thank you very much, Marcos! I'm glad you've enjoyed this lesson.
Angry is a multisyllabic word and we say angrier. Why is it like that then?
As I explain in the lesson, with 2-syllable words, both are possible. Some, like 'angry' are more frequently used with 'er', and other, like 'jealous' with 'more'.
Uhh what about this kind of questions?
"yours maybe good but ours_______better," Mrs Tan told her neighbours who were showing off their new television.
The options are
1) is
2) are
3) was
4) were
I vote 2 because it is an comparison tag type of questions but I'm not too sure which grammar is this on.
This video help me to do my home work
Excellent!
Excellent explanation, thanks for the examples at the end of the lesson it helps a lot to your understanding.

A
@4:49: She draws the most beautifully among all my friends. You wrote it without the definite article the- is it correct?
No, we need the article.

Thank you, you've helped me alot. I have an question, is baddest correct or not?
You're most welcome. No, that's not a correct word.
Baddest is not a correct word, it’s better to say “worst”.
you are really great!
Thank you very much!
Could you please make a video about "either/or, neither/ nor" ... I don't really know how to use them and thanks in advance !
Hello Nina,
Thanks. I've made a note of your request.
I cover neither / nor a little bit in this lesson:

Hello Minoo. I'm quite confused about two-syllable adjectives. Is it correct that all two-syllable adjectives can take "more" and "most"?
I would think so, except those ending in 'y': happier, luckier, funnier.
Thank you very much!
Hi, I really enjoy your videos. My former native English teacher always said: more easy or more simple. When we asked him why, he just replied that when it is better to pronounce we can say it as he did. I don´t remember which part of USA he comes from. May I ask you for your opinion? Thank you!
Thank you!
To answer your question, with many two-syllable words like 'simple', both are usually correct.
I would say that 'simpler' is more common. If you Google both, simpler has more hits than 'more simple'.
Thank you much for your answer!
I have learned a lot because of you 🙂🥰😇💝☝🏻
Excellent!
Nice to hear your voice, it's so pleasant and melodious. Please make a video on the measure problems about speaking in English. BTW I'm Sam.:-)
