Try using the civil defense 380 against the pavers I’m curious to see how well that fast little bullet will do
Thank you for taking my suggestion for this video I am really thinking about a 22-250 rifle for woodchuck hunting
Anyone have a 222??
Hold your horses there..The 22-250 left all that "dust" on the second paver..I think we can call that a win...
Both will kill a fox or coyote ..who gives a toss how many pavers are destroyed...ive killed hundreds with both calibres 😉
Try the Barns copper bullets please. Thank you
I just ordered some barns to try, also hope ya take a whitetail this fall. I've had a 223 for years but now the 22- 250 is being put to the test. Me like it.
So my son ( 11 yr old ) and I went fire arm shopping this weekend. We ended up setting a appointment for father son fire arm safety course. The boy really wants a mini 14 in 223 . He said he can skip the 10/22 and go straight into the big boy rounds🤗😎makes a daddy proud!!!
Nice!
Tell him he's a good boy then buy him it for his birthday /christmas along with a couple of cases of ammo (if he's like I was as a kid then that won't be enough ammo) , so maybe the 10/22 is a better idea to start with, just so he can get more range time in (unless Your loaded and money's no object ) in which case buy him both ! .
@@danrunner84 my marlin 60 is still my favorite rifle
@@danrunner84 I love just walking onto the back porch and shoot the little 22 off at some metal plates
@@danrunner84 couldn't agree more, a 10/22 and a speedloader can be a lifetime investment
Those two rounds would make one of *THE BEST* paper plate comparisons EVER!!!!! Concrete is simply disintegrating the rounds
My thoughts exactly. It would be interesting to see less frangible ammo if possible.
I'd love to see
I owned a 22 250. Coyotes and deer. Loved it. Found a load that fill the case. Fill it up rake off and put bullet in. Boat tails..easy quick loading.
Finally, a video I can watch without having to buy a new gun... lol
👍
🤪🤪🤪
@@dickhurtz4528 lol
Being soo light and having all that boogie behind it will make them explode, especially being a expanding round. Need something will a little junk in the trunk to push through those bad boys. Good video man, would like to see a paper plate test 👍🏼
Excellent technical assessment!
Yup! Paper plates !
Still wonder how a Black Hills TSX or equivalent solid brass(monolithic) bullet would compare? May do exactly the same?!
Good looking pup you got there 2wheeled Demon!
@@kentuckywindage222 I think you are correct. Standard 55 gr bullets don't have the mass needed for penetration of dense solid material. Solid copper may get the job done.
@@Me2Lancer
I would like to see it tested.
I would be willing to try and get the ammo to test. It is getting tougher to find stuff.
I requested this video yesterday and you already posted this video. Awesome!! Please do the paper plate test with the .22-250
22-250 is a beast. Buddy drops Deer with it every year
Great video as always! Thanks! Cheers from BC canada!!
Love it great job really appreciate your hard work thanks for posting keep shooting brother
Cool video let us know what fps on each round, and the shooting of ur truck was awesome. Also hey to Paul Jr. he did a good job on the Ranger
Thanks for sharing!😎👍
Forget Paul Harrell’s book bag, I’ll just throw one of these pavers in there and call it a day ;)
Although each round went through just one block, the 22-250 definitely did more damage. It transferred more energy towards the second block, and also threw the pieces of the first block higher than the .223.
Thanks for sharing!
Seems the projectiles react the same on concrete pavers even if there is a difference in speed. The real difference would appear in a tissue target such as whole turkey's.
C Kim Yeah, if you want to penetrate hard things like Rock or Ceramic you need something with a big diameter and mass to break it.
The Pircing like a nail through butter ( thats what a solid bullet does to steel by bushing it to the side ) doesnt work here, because rock is to hard so the bullet gets damaged, and also it isnt compressible so the material has nowhere to go.
Great video keepup the great work
Can't wait for more tests with those two calibers. Nice to see.
I would like to see you compare 12 ga.copper slugs against 12 ga. Lead slugs
Killing it man! Love watching your videos
When we gonna hang out?
WHO_TEE_WHO I’ll shoot you a DM!
👍👍
I wonder if a bone dry paver vs. a soaked over night paver would make a difference
Love that 22 250, they really blow up when they hir stuff. Look farward to more vids with it
I still love watching your videos.
Thanks for watching!
good video between the two. Thanks
Thanks for watching Mark!
I watched it again hootie. Thank you again.
Great video
Thanks who the who for answering one of my requests
Appreciate you watching bigtime!
I guess one each. Love watching your videos!
Paper plates test next
Cool video! Wonder how the 223/556 green tip stuff would do on those pavers?
Have to see
Damn fine show.
Loving all your tests. Great channel. This "Who_Tee_Who" fella is a really likeable bloke too. I'd love to go for a pint with you mate one day. Unfortunately we are other ends of the Atlantic to one another. Keep up the good work, always like your tests.
Thanks so much! Appreciate you watching!
time to get some .243 vs .25-06 against some pavers!
Still impressed when you stood on block to fire the 50BMG😲
Who tee who hope u r well nice video keep em coming America bang bang
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you
One to one comparison. Same ammo brand and grainage, absolutely beautiful.
Thanks for watching
1 paver each
Hold all the calls, we have a winner 🏆
I wish I had some pavers because it looks like fun I enjoy watching you blow them apart almost as much as you do shooting them my guess was one each but I was late to the show it was over before I could watch
You rock dude
You rock
Thank you for the video! I now know what to use to hunt pavers.
👍👍
Just make sure you drop them first shot, if you just wound them they can turn on you.
Here's something to think about. In karate tournaments we knew when breaking concrete that dry blocks broke easier. I wonder if it's as significant regarding bullets? Dry blocks vs wet ones. It makes a tremendous difference on the knuckles, sometimes refusing to break. ( the blocks not the knuckles). The wet one would need to be soaked for 5 min. or longer.
The faster 22-250 terminally damaged the 55 grain bullet at the higher velocity and RPM's so it would not go any deeper. Only do greater damage to the paver when it hit. More than the slower 223 with the same type and weight bullet. Thanks for posting your video. How about the 500 S&W magnum and 454 Casull and 44 magnum in paper plates?
Loved my 22-250 -6mm - 556
😍😍😍
Wish you used the 62 grain steel penetror green tip in 5.56
Love to see how both would do loaded with the 62grain green tip projectiles.
Me too
Me three!! You can't get 22-250 in many flavors.. I think Hornady offers a 38 grain... But it would be nice to see it with something that could penetrate. Something solid moving at almost 4k fps.. that would really be something. Kind of like 22 pellets being shot from a 22 bolt action using Ramset loads. That is very impressive. Taofladermous did that. Really unexpected results
Can u make a video about steel case vs brass case
Excellent video as usual... would be always nice to see quickly how a 9mm would effects , only to get a perspective
Good idea
Each spent it's energy on the first paver. I'd a never thought that. And I've learned something new today. Today is not a waste!
Bullet construction
Bullet construction
Need to stick a 1/2 gal milk jug in between to see what happens.
👍👍
I didn't think they would do much, all that energy in a little bullet will be dumped quick in that concrete.
I would love to know what calibres *_would_* go through 2 or more (other than the 50bmg) would a hot 30 call bullet do more? - love to see you step this one up until you break 2 or 3 slabs. Love your videos, keep em rolling!
Great video y’all be safe and GOD BLESS y’all Amen 🙏
Love it 😀
How about 30-30, 223, 7.62 comparison on pavers
These are both beautiful rifles!
Can you do a 223 WSSM video and would you use it as a deer hunting rifle ?
Saludos amigo bendisones
Anyone that wears an outfit like that is ready to throw down on the grill and cook you the best burger youll ever eat
How about clear gel tests for the top 10 or so calibres? Clear gel tests along each other so you can see each one in succession afew seconds apart then slice them open to the depth and cavity damage?
I'm new to a 22_250 can you use this cartridge for hunting deer or just small game
This would make a good video how far will a 22LR skip on water verses a large caliber
I would like to see both calibers in a distance drop test. how does a 223 compare to 22-250 in bullet drop say at 300 yards.
You should do a paper plate challenge for these exact 2 rifles and rounds
As always plesare to watch m8
Thanks Mark
You should have used full metal jacketed bullets. I can guarantee you the 22-250 would have won.
I've burnt barrels up in 25 -06 first, then 22-250 and the last a Ruger .243(this one broke my heart, such a good shooter). I did however contribute to the wear by handloading barn burners in the 243, but the instant mist, or disappearance of the critter(or part of the critter) was just to much for me to stop!🤷♂️
How close was that? I'm just curious if it was at 100 or 150yds would the results be different
Now that was a interesting video and my money was on the 22-250 because they were both 55 grain bullets but the 22-250 was traveling a lot faster and usually velocity wins at the end of the day.
Want both
The same test with VMJ would be interesting.
I can’t decide what’s a better test? 2” pavers or blocks? I know I’d love to shoot that CVA! Thanks Who_tee👍
How about if you shoot of gallon of cream style corn but drill a quarter inch diameter hole in the lid
Good idea
You really like your cva 22-250
Nice !
Those pavers are tough!!
Real tough
Ok. 556 green tip or m855a vs 55 grain 22-250 soild fmj if you can find them
Now I want to know how many paper plates. Great channel
Coming soon. Thanks for watching Kevin!
Now we need a 243 and 270 vs the pavers! Lol
I don't remember did you do .45-70 versus paver?
Yup did that already few weeks ago
I usually skip this type of video, but these are my two favorite calibers (other than 22lr)
What have you shot with the 223 that explodes for best effects other than Tannerite. Looking for new targets
Water jugs, spray paint or any pressurized can like shave cream explode fairly well.
Best comparisons on the internet.
Thanks for watching Andy!
Like to see a comparison between a 9mm and a 7.62x25 rounds
Thank. Have you ever compared 7-08 to 308 win.? I'd love to see that.
Not yet
It would be interesting to see what solid bullets (FMJ) would do
Can you do .270 next??
I've watched you blast away at these pavers with all different calibers and one thing I've come to understand is, "Those Pavers Are Tough!"
💪💪
Do you actually think it could be the bullet disintegrating on the first one that is what’s causing it not to break the second one is there a harder bullet you can use to see if you can penetrate more than just one
Please test the .22 Hornet.
If you haven't done the paper plate challenge on the 22-250 you should do one but I would use the 35 grain bullet sense is the fastest
Both bullets will only destroy the 1st paver and not even crack the second one. Great video WTW! Thank you sir! 🤘🏽
Thanks for watching Michael!
Yep, varmint rounds and speed will do that
Hey brother I missed the chat no notification again
Daggum UA-cam
Who tee whoo
Hey dwalker
Drill a half inch hole in the middle of the paver set it out 100 yards and see if you can shoot a bullet thru the 1/2 inch hole without hitting the paver
Runs to start investing in pavers LOL
I guess I will have to try that also but I'm going to make sure I can do it before I ruin any of them trying
3/8 inch group #100 yards.
Might want to stretch that out to around 300 or 400 for the 22-250 to make it interesting.
I love both rounds, but I think .22-250 had a slight disadvantage being soft point in this video. Idk it’s just a thought but maybe it would’ve been different with a FMJ over the SP
Do you have paper on those 2 rounds
The limitation here is all about the projectile itself. That 55 gr. pill absolutely absolutely self-destructs against concrete at anything above a set velocity. More MASS is needed to defeat hard cover. This is why there are still so many old-school guys who continue to preach the superiority of 7.62 vs. 5.56 in the real world.
How many pavers would a 223/ 556 green tip penetrate?
I wonder which one : paver or steel to show the power of a bullet ?
How about .22-250 vs. .223WSSM??
