@@lucaleone4331 it’s true, I do too! I think I didn’t word it the best but I tend to mean that you can often tell something is a human choice to modify/simplify (or a human mistake) vs an AI mistake. An example is leaving out the character Wriothesleys scars - he has 3 big neck scars that really draw attention, but they are often left out of AI art - and it’s quite difficult as a human artist looking at him to forget them. But often in art, the intricate details on his outfit are left out and simplified because those things aren’t as integral to his character. I see this with characters like itto too. Characters who have asymmetrical hair drawn symmetrical or flipped the wrong way; I think it’s human to make those mistakes (I have too) but u see a lot more style consistency between real artists works where the mistake is more believable as a human mistake rather than an AI generation + human not seeing it

Hmm that style of drawing is pretty common among Japanese artists or south Korean artists. The critique that the body rendering looks more detailed compared to the face is pretty common and it works, that's why a lot of those types of drawings get a lot of likes. Is a good combination of anatomy, color theory, and lighting.
I would say true, but in this case, they Prompter took "memory" cards from a mobile game called love and Deepspace. the characters are 3d. the prompter took the artwork from them, ran it through AI, set the prompt to replace the characters in the images with the ones from Genshin. the AI used 2d artwork of the genshin character, thats why theres 2 different styles.
I mean, these patrons clearly don't pay for the artists work. They pay for yaoi content, that is being created extremely frequently. No real artist could keep up with that daily post frequency. And they don't care who creates the art. As long as they get their daily yaoi content, they'll gladly pay for it.
not necessarily for the yaoi but just nsfw in general. OMG! THEY LITERALLY TOOK CARDS FROM LOVE AND DEEPSPACE! They literally took artwork from cards called "memories" in that mobile game and used it to compose their AI BS! its also the reason why its a 2d face over a 3d body, the characters are 3d and more realistic.
AI images should be recognized for what it really is. Plagiarism. And AI "artists" as scammers. Because that's how everyone sees as for writing and music. Images should receive the same treatment.

I even saw one person replying warning people that the "art" that was being posted in this acc was AI Images but they got attacked lol.
This reminds me of a "game" me and my former cowoker did. We go to Pinterest and type in a Genshin character and play the game "Spot the AI and the irregularities". We both trained our artist brains thanks to this "game" lol Also, I am grateful people who followed me knows my art style and knows that I draw my artworks
Ahh I can't find it now but under one of their posts someone asked (maybe a May one?) if they are going to share the "art" process and illix wrote something like they sketch the pose first, run it through AI, they choose a suitable pose, then add the Genshin/HSR head and edit that to make it look better. From a glance they seem really good, then we can notice all the missed/misgenerated details. It's so sad this gets all the attention and not real human artists. 😔 Btw I'd give everything to be able to render like this by hand. ;u;
I used to eb quick drawer on one point, and sometimes had inspiration bursts, and got like 3 pictures done per day on the oddest times. Yeeh, not for too long times.
I disagree with you one thing about rendering body like 3d but the face is 2d. It’s very common for 2d artists with Japanese styles will used this technique with their art. Many artists painted 2d faces with full rendering body.

I do have to say, a lot of artists purposefully under render the faces so they: 1. are cleared to read and 2. The vocal point since the rest of the piece is usually busier either by rendering or other things, it's very popular to render this way So that's not necessarily a point to look for in Ai images /gen
To be honest, there is nothing wrong with the arts. All anime artists who draws semi realistic arts makes the face clean and flat.. why do we still judge them and say "this is AI!" "its like a 3d body plastered with a flat face" not all face have to be really detailed. The artist already claimed they are an AI artist who also uses photoshop to fix minor details to look pleasable... if they already say they are an AI artist, why do we still need to hate them?? its not a scam anymore if they already put it in their bio
Yeah, some features can be point out but having a detailed body and not as much detail on face is what many artists do. I mean as you said, they alrd said they’re an ai artist so basically that’s all it is for the video.
While I don't agree with the AI thing since its use in itself is also unethical (stolen stuff in their databases and such), I wholeheartedly agree with the face stuff. So many artists go for simpler rendering while working on characters' faces, and have done so way before AI popped into the picture
@@maglag The AI was trained on art from actual people. It doesn't seem like a stretch to imply that it's a style artists use and that's why it keeps popping up in AI-generated art.. because some actual artists also do that.
I find it kind of funny that those who use AI to generate art have to pay for that AI. Generator when they can simply just pay an artist For commission.
And they are the same mf who keeps saying that Digital art is not real art, you just tap on the screen and boom an image is ready. Bruh you literally tap on screen and boon AI makes an image ready and they call it a real art💀 We are evolving but backwards.
Omg finally someone is calling them out. Once I saw some kavetham fanart and said “we don’t want your ai bullshit” and they blocked me 😭 then I saw an artist repost their content n that acc blocked me too cuz I called them out as well 💀
ofc they blocked you. they literally put on their bio that it's ai. don't like it? block them. simple. no need to "call them out" (that is honestly just being annoying for no reason)
I’ll say tho that there are tons of genuine artists that just so happen to render bodies heavily instead of faces as sometimes the abs/chests are more so the focus point for the audience.
Both Genshin and HSR have character designs with many details. I think I've seen someone post AI 'art' of the latest Genshin characters in their original outfit and I swear, the tiny details are heavily botched beyond recognition...
The way those are generated is by marking certain areas of the image and adding another image to it, then generate again to merge said images. That's why the face does not match the body. The AI Bro generated 'hot male anime guy' and then copy-pasted a genshin face on it, then merge-generated them together.
We need to petition to cut off all ai users from patreon. Any source of funds going to them for 0 effort or labor is insulting to artists who perfected their craft or are still learning.
It's not Genshin characters, but I draw some characters with complex designs where I have simplified versions for casual drawing where tiny details are removed to make things easier on me. That's also a very possible thing to do as a human.
tbh before covid i was doing a fully rendered piece every day while working 50 hours a week. ive never been able to get back to that level lol its not sustainable
It reminded me the similar AI user called Clie who claimed him/herself as a "profesional Illustrator" for years but doesn't even post his/her own art ...
omg i remember seeing one of their posts past by my tl, it was of a series of wriothesley drawings and it was sooo sexy so i looked at their media tab for more... but then i started getting suspicious at the frequency of posts... only for me to realize they have "AI-used" in their bio :/ it felt so disappointing
As I understand it, this person in the header wrote that he uses AI, and people who subscribe to his patreon are aware of this, maybe they just want more images in a prod-style. So... where's a scam? We are not talking about the fact that in this case an AI is used, this is the other side of the question. Now is the time when a huge number of people use AI and run a patreon, and successfully. And at the same time they warn that yes, an AI was used for the images, while many do not warn about this, and these are the people who definitely don't have good intentions
Its still a scam because you can very well create the same type of image by means of similar tools. A lot of AI generation models are free or cost not very much to create a large amount of images at once. Im not sure why someone would knowingly pay for it anyway though. Maybe those who are gullible or not smart with technology.
it's a scam because AI at its core is theft, and their patreon site itself fails to mention the use of AI at all. they put it once and only once in their description which people clearly don't check. if they were that proud of it they wouldn't be hiding comments and blocking people for simply saying the letters "AI" in their quote retweets. a huge swad of their followers AREN'T aware that it's a scam. even if that's in part their fault, it's there, and that's what they're leaning on. a simple qrt and replies check will show you this. it's not an outright ploy but it's slimy behavior at best
"No artist can pump out ammount of this quality works this quickly" And i'll take this time to quickly introduce ya'all to our lord a saviour Vatheja, who before her recent health issues would pump out DAILY FULL RENDER art pieces of WAY better quality and you should check her out, cause she is just the fucking GOAT.
sometimes i don't like when people try to hyper analyze certain artistic things with AI art because there can be actual artists that do things like having a 2D face and a more 3D body, even when there is a disclaimer that they're only making fun of just the AI art, it doesn't negate the fact that actual real life artists can also make mistakes or are still learning certain lighting elementals or anatomical poses. I think that overanalyzing things so small can eventually lead to real artists getting falsely accused of AI art when in reality they're just finding their style or trying to improve. Like imagine posting a finished piece with hands that aren't completely accurate bc you're not that good at drawing hands yet and then you get accused of AI because they're not 100% anatomically accurate idk just a thought
Just one small comment here, the type of rendering you talked about is extremely common on genshin/hsr fanart, I've seen that style on multiple artist that i follow so it isnt much of a error from part of the Ai and more of an indicator of what kinda images it uses for it's database
it's crazy how anyone fell for the patreon scam because with that much output even non artists should realize that it should be impossible if it was simply "assisted" with Ai instead of making it do all the work 💀 And an exclusive illustration per person per month on the 20$ tier... how is anyone thinking that someone who value their commissions to be so cheap for the overall "level" of the images and amount of work they SHOULD take if they were human made can possibly be doung anything else other than scamming them?????
@@bigfriendjoe You’re right on that but I don’t blame for anyone assuming they would. For example, If you caught someone lying to you, chances are that they lied to you more than once. If they have the ability to sell AI art without it going against their morals, I wouldn’t be surprise if they bot their account to look more authentic.
I agree with everything besides the "3d body but 2d face", I feel like if you follow pro JP, KR and CN artists you'll notice it a lot, it's very common. It's because in asia a lot of people likes "soft" features in face but a toned and "sexy" looking body.
i hate how myself and a bunch of other artists struggle to build anything resembling a following on twitter; and here these Ai people are racking up followers like rain😒
one thing to point out: genuine artists, more often than not, dont monetize their works but AI dorks will most of the time monetize their works.... its almost as if... AI dorks are only doing "art" just for the sake of money and not actually because they enjoy art? GASPPPP (no one is surprised)
Funnily I think the commission tier that was bought might not have been from a real person as well. It has been seen in deviant art as well, people who do this generally work in groups and they just cycle the same money back and forth in different accounts to move the account up in visibility and demand, now thats in deviant art, I dont know if patreon charges a fee for every tier. But yes, its horrible that people are getting scammed like this.
I do understand that AI is theft and it's annoying that other artists aren't getting as much support compared to AI users, but why dose this use counts as a scam? they already confirmed using AI in there bio, so they aren't selling anything to people who wants real art, only to people who wants fake art, even if I agree that paying for something you could do with a click of a button is a little unnecessary, specially the commission part, if the people who are paying are aware that it's AI then why is this considered scam?
it's a scam because AI at its core is theft, and their patreon site itself fails to mention the use of AI at all. they put it once and only once in their description which people clearly don't check. if they were that proud of it they wouldn't be hiding comments and blocking people for simply saying the letters "AI" in their quote retweets. a huge swad of their followers AREN'T aware that it's a scam. even if that's in part their fault, it's there, and that's what they're leaning on. a simple qrt and replies check will show you this.
If they're blocking people and deleting some replies then it might be the case that they're relying on this appearing on unsuspecting people's feeds seeing it and not thinking to check. Then when someone starts pointing them out, they'll use the excuse that they explicitly state that they have "AI" in their bio. People should definitely be more wary of the type of content they'd be willing to pay for, but it could still count as a scam especially if it's deliberate. Do you consider people preying on folks who aren't tech-savvy as still scammers or would they not be? The "consumers" should've known better, but is it their fault? It sounds a bit like fraud shaming to me. Just a bit more transparency should help. I think they should also clarify that it's AI every post that they make, though I'm not sure if they do that on their Patreon.
What sucks even more than them using ai is also that they got money just from using prompts and stuff, IT AIN’T FAIR FOR THOSE WHO POUR THEIR SOUL and spend time in their artwork and commissions just to see no one is getting their commission, and that person just SOLD OUT of 20$ worth of commission from who knows what many slot they have
Idk but like- some artists do shade the entire body a way and barely do anything to the face. It is not an AI thing necessarily even if it does it too. So idk saying 2d face slapped on it could hurt artists if people just blindly believe “if the face is 2d and body 3d it’s ai”.
Ai has been evolving way too quickly to the point that we’re getting actual people synthetically made which shouldn’t be happening! Even if we make a case that defends it, it’s very hard to call it ethical! Art is sacred, it’s a HUMAN ONLY thing, NOT an AI thing! Even I can’t stand it because the way things are, I can’t even begin to explain the anger I feel when people start to profit off of stolen work generated by AI and the sympathy I have for all the artists out there who have to deal with the pressure of AI that is taking over art. Art takes a long time to learn and I’ll admit, it’s not easy and I’m trying to learn to become an artist trying different ways to get there since I learn differently and might have a better chance on a different medium than I would on paper but I’m not willing to give up since I have a goal of being one of the first manga artists from the US one day and I don’t EVER want to resort to using AI as an option because I don’t need a machine to do work that I could do myself.

That's how a lot of artists make money on patreon 😅 but this person probably is making gay ships because they're more popular overall (I mean just look at that list of ships that's just a list of the most popular ones and none is a less liked one, they're clearly not doing it because of who they themselves ship)
and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. let them have their yaoi

Also, I am grateful people who followed me knows my art style and knows that I draw my artworks
Ahh I can't find it now but under one of their posts someone asked (maybe a May one?) if they are going to share the "art" process and illix wrote something like they sketch the pose first, run it through AI, they choose a suitable pose, then add the Genshin/HSR head and edit that to make it look better. I disagree with you one thing about rendering body like 3d but the face is 2d. It’s very common for 2d artists with Japanese styles will used this technique with their art. Many artists painted 2d faces with full rendering body.

How funny is it that the moment I open Twitter (being 3 minutes into this video) their "art" appears on my timeline lol
I do have to say, a lot of artists purposefully under render the faces so they: 1. are cleared to read and 2. The vocal point since the rest of the piece is usually busier either by rendering or other things, it's very popular to render this way
So that's not necessarily a point to look for in Ai images /gen
To be honest, there is nothing wrong with the arts. All anime artists who draws semi realistic arts makes the face clean and flat.. why do we still judge them and say "this is AI!" "its like a 3d body plastered with a flat face" not all face have to be really detailed. The artist already claimed they are an AI artist who also uses photoshop to fix minor details to look pleasable... if they already say they are an AI artist, why do we still need to hate them?? its not a scam anymore if they already put it in their bio
I don’t agree with AI, but I agree with your point

4:31 as a genshin player, interestingly, that looks semi-similar to the language of Teyvat used in the game
The way those are generated is by marking certain areas of the image and adding another image to it, then generate again to merge said images. That's why the face does not match the body. The AI Bro generated 'hot male anime guy' and then copy-pasted a genshin face on it, then merge-generated them together.

Is there artists that really think people shouldn't download their works from Twitter or ArtStation?
sometimes i don't like when people try to hyper analyze certain artistic things with AI art because there can be actual artists that do things like having a 2D face and a more 3D body, even when there is a disclaimer that they're only making fun of just the AI art, it doesn't negate the fact that actual real life artists can also make mistakes or are still learning certain lighting elementals or anatomical poses. I think that overanalyzing things so small can eventually lead to real artists getting falsely accused of AI art when in reality they're just finding their style or trying to improve. Like imagine posting a finished piece with hands that aren't completely accurate bc you're not that good at drawing hands yet and then you get accused of AI because they're not 100% anatomically accurate
idk just a thought
Ugh I hate this "artist" so much I have them blocked because their posts get so much interaction they always popped on my TL 😔

Good point
it's a scam because AI at its core is theft, and their patreon site itself fails to mention the use of AI at all. they put it once and only once in their description which people clearly don't check. if they were that proud of it they wouldn't be hiding comments and blocking people for simply saying the letters "AI" in their quote retweets. a huge swad of their followers AREN'T aware that it's a scam. even if that's in part their fault, it's there, and that's what they're leaning on. a simple qrt and replies check will show you this.
At least he doesn't pretend it's not AI lmao
If people are really falling for this "scam," knowing this is AI, they must have room temperature IQ.
What sucks even more than them using ai is also that they got money just from using prompts and stuff, IT AIN’T FAIR FOR THOSE WHO POUR THEIR SOUL and spend time in their artwork and commissions just to see no one is getting their commission, and that person just SOLD OUT of 20$ worth of commission from who knows what many slot they have
"Nyuvilettos" is kinda funny to me lmao (ps: new-vee-lett)
Idk but like- some artists do shade the entire body a way and barely do anything to the face. It is not an AI thing necessarily even if it does it too. So idk saying 2d face slapped on it could hurt artists if people just blindly believe “if the face is 2d and body 3d it’s ai”.
Not sure about your opinion on the art 2D face with 3D body, i have seen this kind of art style everywhere. So its pretty common.
