Rick.. how can I turn a 8 into a 10 well you turned into a 12 beautiful work & when white cars done well they look amazing like the one you produced well done sir 👍
Rick, you have the astonishing gift to change my opinion regarding cars. When I started this video I was like: "Cool Cayman, not beautiful enough for me to buy and drive though". Now that I finished watching however, I am in love with its shape and overal aesthetic. I think that is a powerful testament to the quality of both your detailing work and filming/ post-production skills.

I've done many of them on my Audi. It's got super hard paint and I've never had a problem, but now that I have the ability to manage water year-round in my garage, I don't anticipate ever doing it again. It is an ok method, but it just doesn't get in to the tight gaps and crevices the way a proper water wash does. Some paints will show the negative effects of a rinseless no matter how careful and meticulous you are.

Rick, awesome work as always! Any advice on dirty/muddy door speaker grilles? I know people say spray cleaner into interior brush, but that doesnt seem to work either.
Another amazing Rad Garage detail on an equally amazing car! It wasn't a full-on paint correction, just a polish, correct? Were there just light scratches/swirl marks that needed touching up? Awesome camera work, as usual! Stay safe!
Yes, that’s correct. 80% of the paint was blemish-free so I did a thorough jeweling of the paint. There were a few spots that required some minor correction as well. It’s pretty much flawless now.
Oh, I messed up the link but it is the Speedmaster Pro by Daytona but it is now discontinued. EZ Detail has an identical one but it’s blue. I have a couple of them as back up.
That's going back a while, but I am fairly certain I was using the Adam's One-Step Polish/Compound with a Rupes white finishing pad to take out the very minor swirls in the tail lenses. I find scratches come out of plastic lenses quite easily so no need to be overly aggressive.
Love to see you bring it to the next level! What are your thoughts on the Geon wheel and tire cleaner compared to brake buster? And what kind of polisher do you recommend for a beginner that wont break the bank?
I am not a huge fan of brake buster. I used it only once and found it weak. The Gyeon Wheel Cleaner is quite strong. I am told you can use the Gyeon Tire Cleaner on tires and wheels if the wheels aren’t too dirty.
So a few questions, your honest opinion of the AR now that you’ve had some time with it? Impressions of the IK bottles? Last, are the latest gyeon products a significant improvement over previous versions? I’ve used them before but always had a hard time justifying the price when other products seem to get the job done at a lower price point. Videos are always on point. I steal a lot of your wash methods.
Here are my 💯 honest answers: 1. The AR has exceeded all my expectations. It has elevated my enjoyment of detailing to new heights and I absolutely love it. 2. IK trigger bottles are ok. I won’t be getting one for every product the way others seem to be doing. I use one for foam touch ups, but it’s just a trigger spray bottle. I prefer the OEM bottles for some reason. 3. I am loving the Gyeon line. I don’t really factor the cost of a product into my overall enjoyment and satisfaction of my products. That sounds absurd but I’m being honest. If I was churning out project after project my attitude would be different. This is why I don’t do reviews. I don’t necessarily look for the best performing product at the best price point. I just like using products that feel good and leave me satisfied and my Gyeon products are ticking those boxes just fine.
Glad you enjoyed it. I enjoyed the TAC SYSTEM UHS. I easily laid two coats of it with no issues at all. I did like that the flash time is pretty quick. I will have to see how it performs when subjected to a maintenance wash to know if it was all worth it!
I have a question about the industry of auto detailing and not your work specifically- Does the foam bath really do that much to capture contaminants? I use a foam cannon too, but sure seems like we go through a lot of soap quickly... Seems like a real benefit to the manufactures.
This debate has raged on for years. I find the pre-wash foam stage is instrumental in flushing out the dirt and grime that hides in the tight gaps. When I do a bucket wash without a foam stage, I find dirt gets blown out of the gaps with the Master Blaster car dryer which doesn't happen when I perform the foam and pressure wash stage. I only use 100ml of foam each application, so I don't think that is an unreasonable amount of soap to use. Plus, I just enjoy that process so much.
Each project comes down to how much time I have, how far I am asked to go by the owner, and what kind of budget we are dealing with. There's always another level to take things, and I look forward to the day when someone says, "It is yours for as long as you need it and money is no object". Still waiting for that day....for now....😂
Hi Rick, Im about to do my first ceramic coating on a friends vehicle. He doesnt really care about his finish on his vehicle, he said practice on mine any advice on my first coating?
@@RADGarage yes it came out great! Looked under led lighting didn’t see any high or low spots. Then again, could be some flaws but I didn’t see any and I am very happy with it, as is my friend.
Oh, the rotors on this particular car drove me crazy. After the wash, they were so rusty I decided to take it for a little whip down the street to brake the rust off. When I pulled back in the garage, the wheel barrels were caked in red rust residue and so was the car! I had to quickly use the CarPro Eraser to clean everything up. I couldn't believe how nasty the dust was. I wish every car had carbon ceramic brakes!
Mostly CarPro Essence. I used Adam’s Correcting and One-Step when I encountered a few trouble spots. All links in video description. Thanks for viewing.

Always great and the best in car washing and polishing Worth 1,000,000,000 subscribers And when I buy a car, I don't take it to the car wash But I wash it alone myself in my house and I adhere With all your wonderful steps in washing the car What you saw in your videos on your amazing channel 👌
Your enthusiasm for my videos is very much appreciated. I hope you will enjoy caring for your car the way I do. Take care.
Nice job 👍
Thanks for the visit
Rick, awesome work as always! Any advice on dirty/muddy door speaker grilles? I know people say spray cleaner into interior brush, but that doesnt seem to work either.
I squirt a little air from air compressor. Just a little to dislodge whatever has become stuck in the grille vents.
Hey Rick, what is your wheel brush. It's not the same as the description. Keep up your great work!
Oh, I messed up the link but it is the Speedmaster Pro by Daytona but it is now discontinued. EZ Detail has an identical one but it’s blue. I have a couple of them as back up.
@@RADGarage Thanks, is always out of stock from carzilla :P
@@elkamikaze69 Uh oh, I may have bought his last two! 😳
If that's not a 10 I don't know what is. 👏🏻
Thanks Mark. I was pretty proud of my results.
Be I utifull job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!
Amazing! Can you get my Cayman dialed in? 😁
For sure!
Finally get to watch! Baby napping, Tito in hand. Let's see if you were able to impress me. 🎬
I am impressed
This one was a lot of work. Glad you enjoyed it.
@@RADGarage I can't imagine what goes into editing videos. Your artistry is definitely appreciated.
What product and kind of pad are you using on the tail lights? Are you just polishing or taking out scratches? Love the videos. Thanks Scott
For a good polisher, don’t overthink it. Just get one you can comfortably afford. I started with a 3” and 6” Griots machine. They were great.
@@RADGarage Awesome, thank you so much! I wish you all the best and will continue to support you in any way I can!
Here are my 💯 honest answers:
Finally, a chance to sit down a watch another masterpiece by Rick. Thank you for sharing. By the way, how did you like working with TAC System?
Glad you enjoyed it. I enjoyed the TAC SYSTEM UHS. I easily laid two coats of it with no issues at all. I did like that the flash time is pretty quick. I will have to see how it performs when subjected to a maintenance wash to know if it was all worth it!
@@RADGarage Hi Rick, if you don’t mind, Can you send me your email address so I can send you a photo or two?

How do you spray those bubbles with the canon into wheels?
Sorry, I’m not quite sure what you are asking.
For the plastic trim, do you use Perl straight up or diluted 1:1?
I prefer using it straight up. A little goes a long way on a foam applicator.
Any reason why you didn’t do a wheels off detail?
Each project comes down to how much time I have, how far I am asked to go by the owner, and what kind of budget we are dealing with. There's always another level to take things, and I look forward to the day when someone says, "It is yours for as long as you need it and money is no object". Still waiting for that day....for now....😂
I like video wow wow wow
I was proud of how well that Cayman came out.
Hi Rick, Im about to do my first ceramic coating on a friends vehicle. He doesnt really care about his finish on his vehicle, he said practice on mine any advice on my first coating?
Sounds like a stand up dude. What coatings are you considering?
@@RADGarage carpro
Go for it. I love them.
@@RADGarage yes it came out great! Looked under led lighting didn’t see any high or low spots. Then again, could be some flaws but I didn’t see any and I am very happy with it, as is my friend.
It's probably not a problem on a Porsche, I don't know but how do you usually deal with rusting rotors? Oh and... Outstanding job there my friend!!
OMG dat foam son
Always my favourite part.
What product did you use to polish the car?
Mostly CarPro Essence. I used Adam’s Correcting and One-Step when I encountered a few trouble spots. All links in video description. Thanks for viewing.
After watching my team panathinaikos i needed something to relax. 👍
My local NHL hockey team is stressing me out too! 😂
Sweeeeet!
Thanks Nick! 🙏
