Gotta love a well take care white car , the wet look on white is awesome not as much as the mirror finish of the metallics but still really awesome. Keep the good work ;)
Amazing film work and editing on this beautiful car. These product manufacturers should invest in your talent filming their products! As always your attention to detail is spot on and it inspires me to do a better job!
I have been fortunate to have met some teams from amazing companies and I am happy to showcase the products that make a mark on me. Who knows, maybe one day I can command the big bucks! For now, I'm cool with just sharing what I get up to.
Although I personally do not like white cars, that is still one sweet looking Porsche, especially after the RAD GARAGE treatment! EXCELLENT. And gosh darn does that thing sound GOOOOOOOOOD!
Hi Rick, I hope you and your family are doing well. By the way, tomorrow is 1st August; tell your son it’s time to start getting in shape for the upcoming hockey season. Love the car, as my wife drives a 913 Spyder, big fan of Porshe.
The boy will begin his training soon! I’m becoming a big fan of Porsche as well! I always have been, but this car and the others I have done this year have renewed my fascination with them.
I have always said that I want a Porsche before I die. After I bought my latest car I am not so sure any more. I like them but still there is something special with cars that are discreet. I think I have found the car I will own for the rest of my life. But GT3s are something else. Beautiful and a drivers car. Another absolutely fantastic video. I think your editing is another level once again. Does your family visit you in the garage? I guess it is their only chance to see you ;) New cars and new vids all the time... Take care.
I actually had a viewer visit me on Friday. He was in town from a neighbouring province and wanted to come check the setup out. It was nice to have some human contact! My family knows to leave me alone when I am in the zone. This GT3 might be my favourite car, ever.
I told you it was going to be a fabulous weekend with you and you know why ?? Because these 20 minutes create a state of mind, look at the comments everyone appreciates you and say wow ... Rick is here. I watch a lot of auto detailler on UA-cam but it doesn't deliver what you demonstrate every time ....state of mind. Peace Rick till the next time!!!
Cant beat a white car done properly & Rick you did it amazingly 👍 just 1 question why do you use a hose & not the jet wash to rinse the car after washing? Cheers keep up the great work/channel 😁
Thanks Neil. This car just got some spoiling, but it is in such fantastic condition a novice could have gotten the same results. For the contact wash rinse stage, I don't see the need to have to use the pressure washer. All the dirt and grime was evacuated from the tight panel gaps during the foam stage, so the sole purpose of the rinse after the wash is just to get the soap off the car and a garden hose rinse is all that is required. Additionally, I find it quicker and more efficient to use a garden hose rinse versus the pressure washer. Getting under that wing with the pressure washer would have undoubtedly resulted in water on my ceiling. Thanks for the question.

Brilliant work, as always Rick. Do you have an equipment list somewhere that I could reference? I think I'm ready to begin using the snow foam method and I'd like to reference your pressure washer and lance choices. Appreciate any information you can share.
Between the video description link and my pressure washer web page, that’s pretty much all I have as far as info goes. www.radgarage.ca/pressure-washer.html
Never seen a car that looked like it was washed 3 days ago gets this deep clean treatment. The owner really loves this car, and I would to. Detail Firm tho 👀
For sure. The thing is, I have my process and I don’t downgrade it if a car is only in slight need of attention. I liken it to a day at the spa. Every car deserves spoiling, am I right? 🤘I am loving the line from Detail Firm. High quality stuff and so well presented.
@@RADGarage I agree with you about “routine”. When you makes changes or take shortcuts, that’s when the end result begins to change. I believe you have invested too much time and energy to mess with that routine. Always a great watch.
Another awesome video Rick!! I don’t remember if I’ve asked this before… you use a wool wash mitt -vs- a microfiber chenille mitt that you see most other UA-cam Detailers use. Is there a difference, in your opinion? Thanks for sharing!!
I absolutely love the ergonomics of the CarPro mitt. It is just the best wash media I have ever worked with. I have a bucket of chenille mitts that never get used.
That's a question I get a lot. My thinking is this; if you rinse the roof first all the foam will rinse away before you get to it with the pressure washer. My goal when rinsing off the foam is forcing it into the deep crevices with the pressurized water, but if there's no foam then there's no point. I hope that makes sense. By working bottom-up, you are guaranteed that you are forcing soap into those cracks multiple times actually as you can kind of see in the video.
I have had two mitts for about the last five years. All I do is thoroughly rinse them, fluff them up and let them drip dry. I think the key to their longevity is the foam pre-wash. Because of that, I rarely end up badly soiling the mitt.
Amazing video and detail! Love your work! Was wondering during the contact wash phase, do you rinse out the wool mitt that you use between sections of the car?
@@RADGarage got it! Man I wish you were here in Ontario! I have an Audi S4 b8 2011 that I love. After spending half my day watching your videos yesterday I decided to start compiling a list of products to be able to at least give my car a good wash and clean up the interior. I know you don’t do how to videos as every detailer has his/her own methods but for a total beginner would love a list of your favourite must have products. From watching your videos I was thinking Adam’s mega foam, Adam’s tire and wheel, Adam’s interior and leather, Adam’s leather conditioner, Adam’s carpet and upholstery and Adam’s foam multi-purpose. But I’m not sure if that’s overkill to start with or if you would recommend the leather conditioner for my car (haven’t seen you use it). Would love your thoughts Rick!
Honestly, that's a great array of products to start off with. In fact, a friend just visited from Vancouver and I gave him pretty much that entire list of products as a starter kit. You can use Mega Foam in the cannon or the bucket. I have used Adam's leather conditioner a few times and it leave leather very nicely coated. It looks like it is going to make your leather glossy when you apply it, but it dries very matte.
@@RADGarage awesome I'll definitely look into going with that then, I appreciate it! For the glass, is there a substantial difference between Adam's glass versus Windex? And how do you feel about Iron X for those brake dust/rust/iron particles on a white car / rust near the license plate on the trunk?
Windex is not going to be nearly as effective as Adam's Glass Cleaner. I am a huge fan of Iron-X. It is amazing how much iron fallout it will suck out of your clear coat!
Rick, have u ever thought to leave the snow foam on the car instead of rinsing it off, and using it as added lubrication when you perform your contact wash with your wash mitt & soap bucket? Seems to make sense rather than foaming and rinsing it all off? I know Matt from OG uses this same method - what are your thoughts
Rinsing the foam makes most sense to me for two reasons. 1. It forces foam into the tight spaces and gets hidden dirt out and off the car. 2. It ensures your contact wash is as safe as possible since all loose contaminants are not in your mitt where they could come into contact with the paint. But, to each their own. I don’t do “How to’s” because I believe there’s a perfect way for everyone. This is mine. Thanks for the question. Hope you enjoyed the video.
@@RADGarage cool! In my opinion a pre-rinse of the car should knock off as much loose containment’s as possible - then a snow foam application will help loosen anything more stubborn, but I particularly like to use the foam as added lubrication for the wash mitt. Each to their own as you say! :)
Indeed. I bet if you surveyed ten detailers, you'd get ten different responses. I just encourage people to find a way that works for them and don't worry about what others do or say. After all, 99% of people probably run their cars through a tunnel wash, so whatever we wash aficionados are doing is a hundred times better than that!
J'ai l'impression que ce processus de lavage extérieur a réussi à rendre cette incroyable Porsche aussi propre que possible. Si le propriétaire voulait que je le polisse, cela aurait été encore plus étonnant.

You can tell all your friends and neighbours, though! 😂 😉 🤘
@@RADGarage Good point 😅🤣🤣, that I will do asap 👌🏻
👍
Thanks Richard. This was a very satisfying project all around.
@@RADGarage a superb car getting the treatment fit for a king. Thank you for sharing it with the world.
