Over 20 years later, and i still cry when i watch old races, interviews, or any other videos with Dale Sr. When he passed away, it was like the Superman of motorsport has passed away. One can only wonder how many things would have been different in the sport, if Dale Sr. was still around today.
It’s so cool getting to see this. After listening to so many of Jr’s podcasts. That Pinball machine was Dale Sr’s only game console and apparently played it quite often!
Your right because it's all about money and rich daddy's! Plus the drivers now have never had to work on the cars! Old school is totally gone! I'm just thankful I was around to see real stock car's racing! Even at the local level it was so much more interesting! Nascar's big money from the late 90's and into 2000"s just ruined them! After France Jr. It's been on a downward spiral!
My dad is just like Dale Earnhardt. Emotionally and physically and mentally. Born in Tennessee on the North Carolina border. Also born in 1956. Same mustache 😮
Dale Jr's podcast with Childress confirmed that story. You can see him grin at the end of the post race interview. I was watching a video of the podcast and those that knew Earnhardt had the most amazing stories.
Dale was really as humble as they get. A button up shirt and jeans just sitting in normal furniture, soft spoken. He was a competitive driver who wanted to win no matter what so he was a different person on race day and unfortunately that's what everybody saw
Dale Sr and France Sr and France junior are crying in heaven for sure! Money that France Sr made went to his kids head and the go greedy ! So sad, teams and family's go broke trying to race while the France Family lives lavishly! All the owners need to get together and tell Nascar if we don't get more TV money to run our teams we won't race! No reason the teams don't get more! They are the show period!
He would be really upset on how nascar is today.nascar racing isn't racing anymore since Dale has been gone he was my guy & will be 4ever that's the reason that I don't even watch it anymore I believe when Dale died nascar died too
I remember this race so well. It was a great short track race, the way it should be. The track was greasey. Too bad nascar is a shadow of it's former self.
"I didn't mean to turn him. I just meant to rattle his cage." - Dale Earnhardt Sr. Yeah, he never "meant" to turn people but he absolutely did. He's the greatest driver I've ever seen but let's not pretend he didn't intentionally turn people on a regular basis.
"Did you ever hear Earnhardt say he means to wreck somebody?" Terry Labonte made that response after Bristol in 1999. He crashed Labonte in 1995, but Labonte won. Earnhardt knocked Labonte out of the way in 1999 and after going to victory lane, he was met with a lot of boos.
Never Liked Dale Earnhardt he was a dirty racer knocking people out of the race.... I respected the Ford drivers like Mark Martin , Bill Elliott , Dale Jarrett , Rusty Wallace ect. They were far more respectful drivers.
If everyone were goodie to shoes like you, the world would be a bunch of men being pushed around from men and women who don't have a ounce of respect for people like you, this is Racing, programed to win, not to come in 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th. You insulted, the other racers you have named on your anidolical opinion of Dale Earnhardt, congratulations, congratulations.
Same here.......nothing was ever Dale's faut according to him, as evidenced by this interview but he cried like a scalded baby when anything happened he didn't like. He acted like a spoiled entitled brat.......and for the record, NASCAR was dead long before he was killed. That being said, his death was tragic and an understandable great loss to his fans.

Same here man. I'm glad other people still considered him a hero
He would be such a help. NASCAR needs guidance.
A lot more drivers would’ve died. Dale made the ultimate sacrifice to secure the safety of future generations of drivers
@@DeadZeppelin822 yep
he was just a guy that was the greatest ever

Not even Dale?

The best in Nascar. Love this guy. Wish he was still here today. I watch all his interviews still today.
The greatest of all-time
Dale Earnhardt.
He was honest about his deals. Just a hardcore racer. I wished he were here. And years later he saved DW from bankruptcy. He was a MAN.
He would be so proud of what Dale Jr has become and everything he’s doing to carry the sport into the future while keeping its history alive.
What about Kerry
Dale would be proud of all four of his children. He'd be happy to know they all turned out okay.
When he smiled sitting in the car that's what pissed nascar off
Dale Jr's podcast with Childress confirmed that story. You can see him grin at the end of the post race interview. I was watching a video of the podcast and those that knew Earnhardt had the most amazing stories.
I believe this is video taped inside dales home, on one of jrs podcast they refer to an orange couch in a basement
MISSED
Nascar's last real Hero.
I can only imagine all of the stories he would be able to tell today, had things gone slightly different...
Its crazy Earnhardt was 35 here. Earnhardt Sr looked about 43 years old from ages 33-45. Then he looked 50 from 46 until he died.
American badass still wearing my #3 2021. RIP CHAMP.
Same.

No he wouldn't be happy at all. Dale should have got out of that car in 2000. After Adam Petty and Kenny Irwin Jr. And enjoyed the rest of his life.
Dale was so cool 😎 😂
Dale no One like you. You have Balls Skills and Heart .🙏❤️
I always wondered how many concussions Dale Earnhardt had in his Nascar career.
Today's nascar fans dont remember the dale interviewed here was more hated then kyle Busch is hated today.
@@JohnZ0805 wasn't till the 90s that dale was respected the 80s dale was just hated also

Any chance you have anymore 2013 races?
Back when males were men
Pot meet kettle. Poor guy was knoen for rough driving, but here he complains about getting treated the same way he treated others on the track.
