Great clips right here, thanks for these! I remember meeting a man who was fortunate enough to gotten the only 1 of the 7 Camaros, Chevy and Dale had made for his 7th Championship! The 1 of the 7 with a standard transmission! The other 6 were automatics! Story the man who had it told me was, he was at Shelor Chevrolet, here on Christiansburg, Virginia the day the woman who had bought it from Dale Sr's dealership and she was scared to death to drive it in fear of it being hit or wrecked, so she decided she was going to trade it in and didn't want to see it being driven around NC, so she drove it up here to Shelors and traded it in there! That was thee car to have if there was ever a collectible car to be had, that 1 was it! I often wonder what ever happened to it and the man who had it the day I saw him with it at a little local car show across from Radford University! He had mentioned how he'd like to have been sponsored by Chevrolet to take it around and tour with it to show it off to the millions of fans Dale had! I'd love to seen him get his wish met and that's one car that I know without a doubt, both Dale Jr. or Richard Childress would love to get their hands on! Damn I wonder what ever happened to that car? As soon as this one shown here mentioned there was around 100 made, I knew instantly it was not the ones made to commemorate Dales 7th Championship! They were by far rarer than the one showed here! Especially the 1 of 1 out of the 7, that I saw that day, with the standard transmission!

I wish Dale Sr. and Paul Walker could have known and raced with each other. They both were genuine race car drivers and great people to heart. You could have dinner with them or throw back a few at a cookout and you would feel like you known them your entire life.

Would give anything to sit in his garage and jsit listen to him talk and talk. Would be such a wealth of knowledge. And very entertaining to boot. God bless and God rest, Sir. You are missed.

I'm guessing if that if Dale were still around today.. He'd have a collection that would rival the Rick Hendrick collection and he and Rick would be battling it out at Barrett Jackson for the latest and rarest muscle cars...
