    I just went ahead and got the advanced formula. It is just a few bucks extra! May as well just get that one! If you sold that in larger containers, I can imagine detail shops having it on their shelves. For someone like me who has 2 vehicles a bottle of that stuff should go a really long way considering how much is needed. I have a 2013 white Passat and my mother has a 2017 Rogue that is silver. Not sure if Nissan had any coating on it from the factory but it beaded the water really nicely for a good while after she got it. I couldn't feel any sort of tackiness that would seem to be a wax on it anyhow. Sometimes you can feel it when there is a wax on it.

    Two and a half years later and the glass bottle Advanced is holding up tremendously. I used to top with tw flex wax but now I just use the adam's detail spray or the boost. The sickness and hydrophobics are 2nd to none. The water beading and chemical resistance are really shocking. The more I use Adam's products, the more impressed I get. I'm using the Advanced Spray after every 3rd weekly wash just to go overboard. I'll post an update after the summer ends.

  • @charleshines1553
    @charleshines1553 2 роки тому

    I am convinced this is good stuff. I tried competitor's product ONLY because I could get it easily at a store. That would be the Black Magic detailer. I looked at the MSDS and could find no mention of graphene in it. Nor was there anything there that says it is a proprietary blend or trade secret. Instead that stuff was deionized water, glycol and a tiny pinch of sodium hydroxide (lye). Maybe they were just giving an MSDS for the graphene carrier solution? Not sure. When sprayed on my white car I could see some grey in the solution sprayed on. I don't know for sure if it is dye (I read a rumor that some cheap stuff might have a dye in it) or real graphene nano particles. In short, I don't know the quality of that product yet. That is whether some sort of Black Magic advertising is at work. It is easy to use and makes the water bead and run right off. We have had rain the last couple days that came down by the bucket fulls and after a few splashes through some puddles I didn't see dirt on the car. My car is a candy white 2013 Passat and it shows dirt fairly easily. I am almost certain that a chemical test would destroy that coating very easily, you get what you pay for they say! I used to use Carpro HydrO2 and that was also really easy to use (couldn't be easier). Now I am moving onto graphene and will eventually try one of the Adam's graphene products. I expect great things since it is not merely a "buzzword" but a technology with HUGE potential in a lot of segments.

Once a vehicle is ceramic coated, you still want to use safe wash practices with a pH neutral soap, and we would recommend using Graphene Detail Spray, CS3, or another topper every 1-2 months or so to keep the coating performing its best. Higher temps and humidity affect the flash time, the higher of either the faster it'll be. Best to go by feel. When you can very lightly drag a plush towel like the Borderless Gray towel across the surface and it's slick, it's too soon. When it's tacky, it's time to remove it. There will be a pretty quick drop off, so check frequently!

    • @chrisinco5920
      @chrisinco5920 2 роки тому

      Frankly, no need to do 2 layers. With layering ceramic coatings the law of diminishing returns applies...adding 2+ does not equate to 2x+ the protection. Instead, use the UV light to ensure full and even coverage. There may be some issues with that polish, yes. It needs a completely bare naked and clean surface to fully bond, consider other options without added protection.

      Short answer is yes, just make sure the car isn't hot, don’t work in direct sunlight. Most importantly of all, spray carefully on the applicator, not on the car. Finally, since the car is outside and not in stable conditions (like a heated garage) the first 24 hours for it to properly cure (yes the spray also has cure time) will affect the durability.

    • @AdamsPolishes
      @AdamsPolishes  Рік тому +1

      Hi Adam - sorry for the late response while we were at Barrett-Jackson the last few weeks. You can use our Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating on motorcycles! You can coat the paint, windscreen, wheels, and exhaust pipes no problem - just make sure to prep them very well first, and to fully wipe away all of the coating residue. It is best to mist the spray coating into an applicator (facing away from the bike to avoid over spray), then apply it to each surface. For the engine block, it could be a little tricky, since you may not be able to fully wipe away the residue inside of each of the cooling fins. The coating has a temperature resistance up to 1800F, but the spray coating will deteriorate more quickly than the 60ml glass bottle Graphene Ceramic Coating. You should get 6-12 months of protection on painted surfaces - the engine and exhaust pipes would have a reduced longevity due to the constant high temperatures. Hope that helps!

    Difference between graphene detail spray and graphene cs3

    • @Theseones
      @Theseones 2 роки тому +1

      the cs3 is a spraywax/sealant that you can use 2-4 times a year(every maintenance wash), whilst detail is just a detailer meaning use it to dry and wipe the car after every wash.

    • @chrisinco5920
      @chrisinco5920 2 роки тому

      Graphene Detail Spray is a quick detailer, use it the same as the original Detail Spray (drying aid, clay lubricant, etc) and maybe every couple of washes or for quick wipe downs. Graphene CS3 is a silica-infused waterless wash that also has graphene resins, it has cleaning properties the Detail Spray does not, and you can use it about as often. Both will boost the coatings, and both can be used as a drying aid, and on either a wet or dry car for regular use.

    • @AdamsPolishes
      @AdamsPolishes  Рік тому +1

      Hi there, our Graphene Ceramic Spray Coatings are solvent-based, not water-based, and are real ceramic coatings at a lower percentage of active resin than our 7+ year Graphene Ceramic Coating. The spray coating does crystallize and harden and can cause the sprayer tips to clog, so we do recommend removing the sprayer after use, spraying water through it, and putting the child-safety cap back on the bottle until the next use. Alternatively you can take a small pin to unclog the spray nozzle if the coating crystallizes in it. The applicators and towels used with Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating can harden and crystallize as well, just not as severe as using our 7 year coating. If you soak the towels used with spray coating immediately after use, you can re-use them, but typically we would recommend downgrading them to other uses, such as engine bay, cleaning exhaust tips, wiping up floors, etc, before discarding them.

    • @charleshines1553
      @charleshines1553 2 роки тому

      Even if the ingredients are the same, upsetting the balance of it can cause problems. I am no chemist either but I understand that these aren't as simple as dumping a little graphite powder into a bottle of detail spray! These formulas are complex and some of the ingredients in them would be to prevent clumping of the graphene. If it clumped, it would either clog the tube of the sprayer on the bottle or just not get sprayed at all. It would be devastating to anyone who sold a product like this because it would sully their name. It would also cause people to be cynical of graphene which would also be really bad because people might then not explore its potential uses. It would be the best thing that we all forgot. That would be the saddest thing about it.
