@nimerecl I appreciate the kind words and I am glad to know it's working for you. Just be aware that the shield has been nerfed today with the new patch. It will now coslnsume more stamina to block and attack at the same time. You can still use the flask with infinite stamina for boss fights to prevent stamina depletion, but be mindful of the need to manage stamina a bit more carefully now with this new patch. Apart from this stamina consumption change, this build remains an absolute beast even with the patch.

Hi, after the last patch that build seems to be affected by "Fixed a bug where successfully guarding while attacking using the Thrusting Shield weapon type would consume less stamina than intended." Can you confirm the build is still working? Thank you!
Yes. The build is still working effectively as I have tested it myself. The only difference is that you now must manage your stamina a bit better. Before you could just hold L1 to block and spam R1 to simultaneously attack for almost 10 hits without getting guard brake. Now, you can do about 5-6 attacks. So, in terms of absorbed damage and damage dealt there is no change. It's all down to better stamina management. Thank you for asking your question, watching the video and supporting the channel. Next weekend, I will change to your build @cadimagamingplace. I read a lot about the items and ashes and now have some questions regarding the build. If I use the shield main hand/two-handed, is it possible to change the shield strike ash of war to another ash, or do I lose important attack capabilities? If I keep the shield strike ash of war, would it be possible to equip the shield offhand, use it two-handed and use shield spells like Scholar's Shield? Any suggestions on that? Otherwise, I would find it out the next days. :)
If you remove shield strike from the shield, that shield can't be used to attack as that ash of war is what give the ability the power to attack while blocking. But, you can always experiment with this. I'm just not sure it would be a good idea to lose that ability with this shield.
@@cadimagamingplace Thanks, I was understanding that the new weapon class "Thrusting Shield" allows to defend/attack at the same time and shield strike only adds the skill "This skill allows the use of a shield's main-handed moveset in the offhand." But I don't know what this therm means exactly. Any idea if I can add the shield strike ash again after changed it? Thanks, mate.
@@DUES_EX not really "nerfed". The stamina consumption got adjusted to make it more fair. But it terms of damage, remains the same. Just requires better stamina management. That's all

Shield that does damage like that is a game changer

@mariusmarggraff1926 yes, you can add it back after changing it. It is worth testing out your idea though. I recommend you give it a go
