Do you think that the Thunder will have their pick or the Clippers pick? They are really close in the playoff race and play each other again tonight after playing 2 days ago. If OKC win again, and beat the Lakers tomorrow, the Clippers and Thunder will be tied in the standings. The West is super interesting down the stretch.

I don’t think that ever would have happened. What would have been more likely is a starting 5 of Russ-Oladipo-KD-Grant-Horford since horford was leaning OKC if Durant re-signed. Wish we could have seen that though… remember Sabonis was raw at that point and Horford was a veteran floor spacing big coming off a dominant Atlanta team. A shooting big is something we desperately needed all the years we had Russ and KD

You didnt realize at first glace how a trade got a team the next big player in a draft or a championship like 5-10 years down the line but with that video concept and format it made it interesting to see. Part of me wants to see them trade these picks for a superstar to group with SGA, Giddey, Jalen, and Chet to create one of the most insane starting 5s ever. Another part of me wants them to keep all their picks to create one of the deepest and most impressive rosters ever if they can hit on a few more picks. Lots of people already know about Serge Ibaka basically becoming Paul George but here's the part that not a lot know: Serge Ibaka was originally drafted with a draft pick that OKC got because of taking on Kurt Thomas's contract. And they wouldn't have that cap room had they not received a trade exception from sending away Rashard Lewis in a sign and trade, who was already about to sign with Orlando anyways.
Meaning that OKC got Paul George, who was flipped into their current star, SGA, and their future for years to come, in exchange for a player that they didn't even want on the roster.

Paul George was on the last year of his deal so teams didn’t want to put that much risk outside the lakers but the they thought they was getting in free agency
Okc only got that much because kawhi forced them because he said he wasn’t going to sign with them unless they get pg and pg was on a multi year deal
Okc almost traded with raptors but the raptors didn’t want to give up free and pascal

I love how every piece that had something to do with the PG trade was touched on in some way, except for Sabonis. This shows that even the small media like this channel doesn't want to see the Kings succeed.

OKC can’t pay all their players when their rookie contract is up . OKC will trade most of Them for pennies on the dollar when they are on their last year. A big L for OKC fans

This is all false. The NBA works in favor of teams draftin their players. The fact that they have paid Shai and Dort before the new salary cap bump is perfect as well. Giddey not gonna make an allstar or all nba team any time soon so his contract will be cool as well

Oh yeah, too many good young players, such an L. Keep who you want, and trade the rest for pieces to fit in around them, such an L. What a moron. :D

Why do people continue to say this when the Warriors literally have 5 guys who will be making $25 million next year two of whom will be making $40 million. Especially when OKC had one of the highest payrolls in the league during Carmelos tenure.
